My trainer is Coach LG and he is awesome! He is patient and shows me the correct form when working out. He is also great with agility training for my son who is in football and truly makes a great difference. He has come so far thanks to Coach LG. Experiencia fantástica: This is so much more that a gym. I have always had anxiety about going into any sort of fitness place, but not Denton Fitness Center! I look forward to going up there! I am not just a number, but a person. EVERYONE is so encouraging. This place has helped me improve in so many ways, physically, mentally and emotionally. Lauren is absolutely FANTASTIC! She is a full spectrum trainer; helping the body, mind and soul grow and become stronger. From day one I could tell this program was going to be all about me. She creates challenging workouts that I am actually able to accomplish, both in the gym with her and the workouts she sends me daily to do at home! Her constant communication has really helped me stay on track with my fitness goals. My time with her goes by so fast because we talk about things going on in our lives, and before I know it I am covered in sweat and my workout is finished. Her food log and exercise journal is a brilliant tool and helps keep me realize where I need to improve and how far I have come. Even when I don't feel like I pushed myself hard enough, Lauren reminds me every day is progress. Her intuition when it comes to her clients is off the charts. She can tell when something is a bit too intense for me and is able to adjust the workout instantly so that I am still challenged, but not defeated. This is truly a skill not many trainers I know have. No matter what stage of life or physical ability you are in this place will help you overcome all sorts of obstacles. Come as you are and leave feeling better and stronger!!

I was looking for a cozy fun vibrant gym that wasn't just another big chain. Decided to visit Denton fitness center and have been a proud member since! The owner, Lionel Gillespie is truly the sweetest person ever, super professional and very kind. If I could give this gym more star's I would!

LG, the owner, knows every customer by name and always asks how I’m doing and how my family is doing. I highly recommend this gym for everyday use and even personal training. If I could give this place 10 starts I would!

Experiencia fantástica: LG is tremendous. He has helped our adolescent with training for various sports. He has amazing energy that has helped to motivate our kid and has improved his performance on the athletic field and in the classroom. Highly recommend him for any training needs.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been a member of Denton Fitness Center (DFC) for two years and I think it’s Denton’s answer to “working out local.” The membership fee is one of the best around, and it was offset by my health insurance plan! The gym is clean – from the hardwood floors to the fitness equipment to the free weights. Cleaning wipes are provided in every room – and you see people using them! The locker rooms are spa-quality. There are a lot of high-end machines in good working order. And lots of fun, convenient group classes (included in the membership fee). I need classes to stay motivated, not only for diverse workouts, but also for the camaraderie of a workout tribe! What I also like about this gym are the trainers/instructors; a genuine group of personable, professional, motivating and positive goal setters. If you’re looking for a gym home, you can’t do better than DFC.

It's always super clean and there are a ton of classes to meet whatever your fitness goals may be. The instructors will modify anything to help you work at your own pace. Completely recommend!
