Because if the boss man never gave me a opportunity Gold Flake Studios wouldn’t be here to today I’m looking forward to bigger and better accomplishments with you.

Experiencia fantástica: My friend recommended this gym to me after I left my old one for being too crowded and hosting a number of bad experiences. I'm a beginner in lifting and I really appreciate having this no-frills lifting-focused facility in town, and the equipment is a big step up for me. Five squat racks! Six deadlift platforms! Four benches with actual safety mechanisms on them! My old gym could never. The clientbase has also been really nice from my experience; I've met complete strangers who have been kind and incredibly helpful. I just wish it was closer to my home.

This is one of the best gyms i ever seen and been part of. We cancelled our villa membership, and only regret is that i did not cancel it few years ago.. ☺️..

Experiencia fantástica: One of the best hardcore bodybuilding gyms I have been to in the Houston area. Several Pros and competitors in here. Music is bumping, equipment selection is great, and everyone's super kind to a fault. Wish I would have signed here before getting in a contract with a different gym. Only thing it needs is showers and way more lockers. Otherwise, the place is great.

I have worked in the fitness industry as a leader for 2 incredibly fast growing gym chains and can absolutely say that Legacy Barbell knows exactly what it is doing. The equipment works flawlessly. The options of equipment is surreal. The atmosphere and environment are incredibly motivational. The owner is like the owner of an Italian restaurant, always present and getting to know his members in order to make sure that everyone's needs are met. THIS IS HOW YOU RUN A BUSINESS!

Experiencia fantástica: Been going here about a month and honestly I really like it. Unpretentious and friendly staff, pretty damn clean layout, open 24 hours (a real rarity among noncommercial gyms), and a more focused and dedicated clientele than you'd see at most commercial gyms. This place has all the necessary equipment for you to achieve the highest levels of every training modality, be it strongman, powerlifting, or even calisthenics. They also have competition plates, if that's your thing (I can only imagine how much just that weight tree must've cost). Every machine you could imagine is here, from the unilateral leg press and lever arm press, to Louie Simmons' reverse hyper (they ought to get is that pullover machine Dorian Yates is always going on about). Honestly I think my only complaints are the lack of bench presses (especially when all the squat racks are full), the lack of an alternate dip station to the Rogue rig attachments (i.e., the Black Widow dip station—ref. parallel bar widths), and that the safety arms are bolted onto the half racks and can't be moved (would be nice when all the benches and power racks are taken). One thing to mention is if you have asthma, beware the rust on the plates. Traditional York-style plates are the de jour choice of most serious lifters, but this style of plate is more likely to have paint chipped off along certain contact points than the urethane coated plates used at 24 Hour Fitness and other commercial gyms. Oh, and bring your own handsanitizer. I have no idea why, but my God theirs smells rancid. Still, definitely the single best gym I've ever been to. Absolutely glad I joined, and the price really can't be beat.

Qualified trainers. Positive vibes. Almost everything over anything you need as a workout tool. Equipment in very good condition. Children and family friendly. I'm happy there.

Would rate higher too if I could. The responses to the 1 star reviews are golden. Great gym, easy to join. If you have issues with it, you are the issue.

Experiencia fantástica: I went into legacy for a day pass to check it out because it's 24 hrs, my normal gym was closed so I gave it a shot. Angel in the front helped me out and gave a mini tour so I knew exactly where to go. There is a lot of new equipment I haven't even seen before! Not only are they up to date on their equipment it's super clean! The environment is also amazing everyone there is more focused on themselves rather than bugging and being creeps. Definitely will be going back there!

Experiencia fantástica: Probably the best gym I've ever been to. Great variety of equipment (a lot I've never seen before). Enough cardio equipment without taking up too much floor space. Plenty of racks and deadlift platforms. And on top of everything, it's also open 24 hrs. Highly recommend.

He is extremely knowledgeable about physiology and helped me achieve my workout goals. Tyler is very attentive and keeps up with your progress. He was always available when I needed him and consistently able to accommodate my schedule.

While the place itself seems intimidating (LOTS and LOTS of heavy weight & VERY muscular members) people were incredibly nice. We are excited to join and can’t believe how reasonable the rates are and they have everything!

Experiencia fantástica: Best Deal in town!!! Legacy Barbell recently moved to a larger facility in The Woodlands/Oak Ridge North area and the place is immaculate. Fantastic, top-notch equipment with a special emphasis placed on Powerlifting. I can work with Free Weights, Strongman, Machines, Olympic Weightlifting, CrossFit, and Cardio equipment all in the same building. I can't think of anything this facility does not have that I would somehow need in my routine (this place has everything). You get out what you put in here!

I have lost weight and I have gain muscle, strength and confidence! Come join us, classes with a trainer, Corey, start at 4am and continue on on the hour until noon.

The owner is always present, the trainers are by far the best and most knowledgeable in the industry and the classes offered by Core Performance are phenomenal! If you haven't went and visited Henry at Legacy or Corey who runs the classes you are missing out!
