Experiencia fantástica: Awesome gym. So many barbells, racks, and platforms, along with a lot of weights and machines. We were visiting for the weekend and the drop-in was very easy and affordable and convenient.

Experiencia fantástica: This is hands-down the best gym I have ever gone to. My girlfriend and I looked to transition away from the local YMCA post-pandemic to another gym that had better equipment and a stronger community aspect and Iron Will fits that mold. At Iron Will I found a welcoming community and grew a passion for powerlifting and trained here for the duration of my meet prep on competition specific equipment. The owner really cares about making upgrades to the gym and there is constantly new equipment coming in. The community aspect is great too. During my time here, I made great friends that I hope to keep in contact with for a long time and I have lot a great memories that I will cherish for the rest of my lifting journey. If you're in the Charlottesville area looking for a place to workout you cannot go wrong with Iron Will.

The selection of equipment, weights, bars, and racks are all high quality and Will the owner is constantly working to make new additions and improve the gym. The gym has a great environment and is always clean and ready to go. The pricing is great for the equipment and 24/7 access and there are no confusing contracts or hidden fees. Highly recommended gym!

Iron Will Gym is hands down the best facility I’ve had the privilege to train in. There is no shortage of any equipment no matter your style of training. Experiencia fantástica: Traveling nurse here, I try to take my fitness very serious and make it a point to find a quality gym at every contract as much of a priority as I do finding a quality apartment or hotel. With that being said, I don't consider my self an expert at many things however I have a long list of gyms Ive been to all across the country to compare to Iron Will Gym. Short answer, the gym is plain awesome! the equipment is legit some of the best I've used and allows for both a focus on the ascetics of bodybuilding and the functionality of all other athletics. Will (the owner) has done an incredible job picking through the needless and useless equipment you find in most chain gyms and instead he has amassed one of the best collections of equipment, bars, free weight and accessories I've seen in one place. This next statement may mean little to gym new goers or novice lifter however it will make more sense as their lifting/fitness lifestyles continue, "gym atmosphere". This may be the most important aspect of a gym and thus the perception of those working out at the gym, as well as it having a genuine effect on the resolve of new lifters continuing in their weight loss or fitness journeys. Again, the short answer is the gym atmosphere is amazing! everyone in the gym kept the atmosphere and attitude as a gym should be, everyone was helpful, encouraging, motivating, and always friendly. I don't write reviews for most gyms but this wasn't and isn't most gyms, 10/10 recommend from me! You won't regret it.

Experiencia fantástica: Easy 5. Personable owner, clean and well kept machines, barbells, and dumbbells. If you're looking for a classic iron gym experience this is gonna be it. If you want a country club style, I'd look elsewhere. Highly recommended.

Experiencia fantástica: Great gym and would be where I would go if i lived in the area. Perfect for powerlifting or other serious lifters. Day and week passes are very affordable. Same price or even cheaper than most commercial gyms.

Owner is passionate about health & wellness and does his best to connect w/members directly. He cares fully about your experience as a member and strives to make it the best. The equipment is top notch & no other place in Cville can even come close. Whether you are an olympic lifter, powerlifter, bodybuilder, or even a new exerciser - this is the place for you.

Experiencia fantástica: Positive: Quality Visited on 5/10/21, called for a day pass very early in the morning. Was allowed to access the gym before it was staffed, guy was super helpful & nice.. Gear & equipment is great, excellent bars, plates, machine selection. If you're doing any PL/Oly/BB work, it's a great place to train. Only 10 dollars for a day pass, excellent deal.

What it lacks in size, compared to other facilities, it makes up for in atmosphere, equipment, and an owner that is not only friendly but involved with everyone! Tips, tricks, and pointers all given by Will, the owner, and he also does personal training! I regret not signing up for a membership sooner! Highly recommend this gym if you want to take your fitness to the next level!

Experiencia fantástica: Came to visit family over the holiday season and needed a place to workout, little did I know that Iron Will Gym was going to redefine what it is I am looking for in a gym. I found myself telling my girlfriend that this gym alone would motivate me to get to the gym every day. The gym has some of the best equipment around, is never busy, great friendly service from owner and trainer Will, and at a fraction of the price you will find anywhere else. If you're in town for business or pleasure, this is the gym you're looking for. If you live in VA and you don't go here yet, cancel your other memberships and join Iron Will Gym, you won't be disappointed.

The gym has a lot of great equipment, and suits those who are there to powerlift, bodybuild, or work on their general fitness. It's a welcoming environment and doesn't have overcrowding problems. Pricing is extremely fair for the value - 24/7 access to great equipment with convenient parking. The gym is also well-cleaned (which isn't necessarily a given for independently owned gyms). I would recommend this gym to anyone who lives in the Charlottesville area.

I am a high level athlete, so finding a gym with the right equipment is tough. The owner Will is super nice to clients and does his best to give each member the access they need. This gym has super nice Rogue bars, equipment, and platforms! I wish I could train here everyday!

Experiencia fantástica: Will has done amazingly with creating an environment that suits a broad range of fitness goals! After Gold’s Gym closed, Charlottesville was left with some big box gyms as well as a few smaller very specialized ones. I think all of these facilities have their place in Cville, but what I love about Iron Will is that it has plate loaded Hammer Strength equipment which feels really smooth to use, selector pieces, cable crossovers, cardio equipment, a free room, and loads of other unique pieces. He also has the most glute building equipment of any gym in Charlottesville which is awesome and hard to find (think GHD, Reverse Hyper, Hip Thruster, etc)! The gym has some extremely experienced lifters, as well as those just getting started or back into lifting, but the entire gym community boasts a positive and supportive home-away-from-home feeling. I left a bigger gym in town because it became so overcrowded that lifting was impossible and their hours on the weekend were too short for my work schedule. To sum it up, 24/7 gym with a catered selection of incredible equipment, and a strong community, couldn’t be happier!

The gym has a great selection of equipment, including a wide array of plate-loaded Hammer Strength Machines, which feel great and are hard to find in a gym, especially in the Charlottesville area. Will truly cares about his members, and he is constantly seeking feedback from his members and working to implement these suggestions to improve the gym. Furthermore, as a member of Iron Will Gym, you will gain access to a plethora of resources to aid you in your fitness goals as Will is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to personal fitness and meeting your goals, and he does not hesitate to share this knowledge with others to aid them in achieving their fitness goals.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a member at Iron Will since February and consider joining this gym the best investment I have made all year. After Gold's Gym closed, I tried out a few other places in town but they were either too specialized or just lacked the community that I hoped to be a part of. Not only does Iron Will have all the equipment I could ever need, it also has such a positive and supportive atmosphere that motivates me to go and make the most of my time there. I think Will has done a phenomenal job curating a wide range of equipment as well as fostering an environment where anyone can feel at home, whether they're a beginner, a competitive bodybuilder, an elite powerlifter, or just someone who isn't training for anything in particular but still wants to get strong AF and be around others who inspire them to do so :) Will is an incredibly knowledgable personal trainer and even though I have been weight lifting for several years, the sessions I did with him taught me so much and the programming he did for me has been incredibly effective. Even if you aren't a personal training client of his, he is always incredibly helpful in answering any questions regarding equipment set-up, form checks, nutrition advice and a plethora of other related topics. It's also worth noting that even at peak times, this gym never feels too crowded and is not like some of the corporate gyms in town where you basically have to stand in line to use certain equipment. This gym truly puts the members first and I cannot recommend it enough!
