Experiencia fantástica: Modern facility centrally located. Has new exercise equipment and is very well managed by students and staff. Currently, It's not very crowded and sanitized very regularly by students. Everybody is required to wear a mask and clean the equipment that they touch Before & After use. Because of its central location downtown, parking is a major problem.. Personal trainers and staff are very reliable for a very nominal charge and I would encourage everybody to use them. This was facility is an example of how our tax dollars are used for students and encouraging health and fitness for all students.

Experiencia fantástica: It’s a beautiful facility. It has a bunch of great features and great environment. The staff is also very friendly. They have state of the art equipment for whatever you want to do and and they work to keep it very clean. Definitely one of the most beautiful UofSC buildings. Not a big fan of the name but overall beautiful facility.

Experiencia positiva: Huge variety of machines, courts, free weights, and more. This place is the heart of student athletic events. This place has an indoor climbing wall, volleyball courts, many basketball courts, an indoor soccer / basketball court, racquetball courts, an indoor swimming pool as well as an outdoor swimming pool, and outdoor fields (3 full-length soccer fields). When you enter you need to scan your student ID, and need to temporarily hand it over for equipment rentals, so make sure to bring your card with you.

Experiencia fantástica: Lots of facilities for both strength training and cardio exercises. Trainers are available upon request. Rock climbing, racquetball, squash, Sauna and spa available. Great complex.

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly staff and helpful. Great place to workout. Has an outdoor and indoor pool. There's a rock climbing station too. The students have benefit to borrow paddles and racquets and nice facility.

Experiencia fantástica: I play racquetball here all time and have taken ballroom and Latin dance lessons here also. I love Strom. Not only is it huge, the skylights and windows bring in so much natural, invigorating light. The rock wall is great too, I always push myself to climb it at least once every year. The staff are super friendly. ☺

Experiencia fantástica: With two pools, 4 full basketball courts, half a dozen activity rooms, and a huge weight room Strom Thurmond had nearly everything for a good workout. The staff are also very genuine and dedicated.

Experiencia fantástica: Strom is open to any university of south carolina student with their carolina card. There's an indoor and outdoor pool, a rock climbing wall, and a gym, just to name a few. A great place to hang out while on campus.

Experiencia fantástica: This place has everything fitness that you'll ever need.

Experiencia fantástica: Strom is a phenomenal facility. The rock wall is 3 stories tall. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, a hot tub and a sauna. The top floor had exercise machines and a 200 meter track. Most of the machines have TVs where you can catch a show while exercising. The staff are very friendly and there is a plethora of equipment you can rent. Parking is the only small downside to Strom.
