Experiencia fantástica: Great place. But just an added suggestion. I’m paying 69 a month and I think having a place where we can get ice(like sonic ice) and put it into a plastic bag to wrap around any injuries/targeted muscles to help with being sore. Just the other day my friend drop a weight on his toes and it bruised immediately. Having that ice I think would be an amazing feature. Please consider this!

Experiencia fantástica: Hey man, I come here like every week to work out with mom, then I just hang in the game room. There's always a ton of events and stuffs at the epic and alot of places to go in there too, I DEFINITELY recommend you come here with your family

Experiencia fantástica: it has everything- a small waterpark, a court, a game room, a track, a sitting area, a gym, and more. I would reccomend to any tourists as it is a fun place for most ages.

Experiencia fantástica: I love, love, love the culinary kitchen here at The Epic! Fantastic demos and some hands-on classes too. The Epic's new Chef, Chef Haley, is AMAZING, very knowledgeable AND a great teacher to boot! I highly recommend her classes.

Experiencia fantástica: Great facility. Watched Pro Basketball All Star Weekend and competition was outstanding. Looking forward to the next event. Also, families camping out on the Lawn for the Outdoor Movie on Saturday night. Friendly Atmosphere.

Experiencia fantástica: The price is right and the amenities are many! This city gym is so much more than just treadmills and dumbbells. With multiple class options, a lap pool, and plenty of types equipment for every program, odds are you’ll find what you need.

Experiencia fantástica: This is absolutely the BEST gym I have ever joined. Everything you need is there.. including state of the art equipment. The staff is wonderful... the levels and lengths they are going through to keep everyone healthy and safe during this pandemic is highly commendable. When covid started I thought I would never go to the gym again, but I go regularly and feel very safe. I highly highly recommend epic.

With A Massive Layout That Will Leave You Speechless And In AWE From The Moment You Enter, Yet Has The Small Neighborhood Gym Feel Because of All The Friendly Members. I generally like to go early in the mornings when the facility opens, it's nice and quite at that time. I get my workout in and leave feeling like I've accomplished something magnificent. Young or A Bit More Mature, Regardless of Gender, This Facility Is Second To None And A "Must JOIN" For Everyone Looking To Get In Shape, Stay In Shape, Do A Little Swimming or Whatever, The Name Speaks For Itself, EPIC!

Experiencia positiva: It’s a great gym with some of the best equipment out there, but it’s hard to concentrate or really focus on yourself when the person next to you is sneezing and coughing, and no one is wearing a mask or Social Distancing like The Pandemic is already a thing of the past. It would be nice if you guys actually asked for vaccine cards to make sure those who got the shot are safe.

Experiencia fantástica: We went to the pool area by the gym for a birthday party and my kids did not want to leave! Lifeguards were very polite and there were people in the parking lot driving around to drop us off at the right place so we didnt have to walk. It was very warm, they have a kids splash area, slides, a pool with basketball hoops, a hot tub and a little lazy river. And i loved that there were so many family changing rooms with showers in them! Very convenient!

Experiencia fantástica: I love the Epic! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Joining there has really helped my mobility after my knee replacements. I went from a wheelchair, to a walker, to a cane, then walking, & now running in the pool. PTL I thank God for the Epic.

Experiencia fantástica: Simply incredible! There is no place like this around! Wonderful staff and programs that will enrich your life. The building is state of the art and has everything you could want out of a recreation center including a recording studio and movie theater! Even if you aren't looking for a membership please take the time to walk through this masterpiece and be amazed what the City of Grand Prairie has put together.

Experiencia fantástica: I enjoy going to The Epic to workout. There's a good variety and quantity equipment. Plus the indoor split level track is great for walking and jogging. The staff is friendly. I've signed up with a personal trainer and that's going great. I haven't tried the pool or either of the courts yet, but the little cafe came in handy when I was short for time. I ate a tasty sandwich before leaving. Saving me a stop on my way home.

Experiencia fantástica: Had my daughters birthday party here and everything went so smoothly. Everyone had a great time. The rate was definitely within a good budget. The staff were all helpful and attentive to everyone in there not just for our party. Definitely would recommend this rec!

Experiencia fantástica: Massive. Great space for all kinds of recreation. Basketball, futsal, pickleball. Two indoor tracks, one of which is an inline track. Lap pool, jacuzzi. Wheelchair accessible everywhere. Wheelchair accessible workout equipment. Theatre room. Kids club for 13-17years old. Coffee and deli shop. Checkout books and DVDs. Great staff!! The waterpark is amazing! Small enough not to get lost bit big enough to have all day fun! Arcade and surfing. Full concessions and full bar. Cabanas, lazy river, amazing water slides. Party rooms with amazing view to the waterpark.

Experiencia fantástica: This has got to be one of the best gyms in the U.S.! Absolutely epic, there's a rock climbing wall, a full BB court, every machine you can imagine is here.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is EPIC. I actually WANT to go. Beautiful views while you work out, all equipment, baby sitting, room for teens to study and hang out, culinary kitchen the teaches classes (!!), recording studio, and more. And of course, the WATERPARK! Love love love!

Experiencia fantástica: Swimming class are the best!!!! I have a 3 year old and I have signed up my Toddler to swimming classes since he was 6months at Grand Prairie hs and safe splash. We would stop going because the water is COLD! He would just cry or wouldn’t want to get it. Since I’m a member at the epic I decided to try it out for $50. Well......we loved it! My son finally gets to enjoy his swimming class without the water being to cold. I also tried out CrossFit at the epic (been doing crossfit since 2014) but wasn’t impressed. I felt like it was more of a foundation class than anything. Everything was slow pace and I’m used to it being quick time, amap with loud music. Well it was none of that so I cancelled my husband and I upgrade. We just workout in the gym and do our own thing. It’s a nice place for teenagers and kids and that’s what I also love

Experiencia fantástica: This is so great for the grand prairie community. I dont live in grand prairie but I have the membership to the epic. That's how awesome it is. There gym is state of the art and they have a little bit for the entire family. We will definitely be getting plenty use out of our membership.

Experiencia fantástica: We went in for a self guided tour/explore (they do offer guided tours also) and the facility is not only beautiful but also incredibly well equipped, tons of things to participate in, lots of amenities that you won't find in any typical rec center. Staff was very kind and friendly and can't wait to get my membership.

Experiencia fantástica: So far so good. Just signed up after a tour. It's an extremely nice facility with an Epic view! They do not have guest passes. Only day passes if you don't have a membership. Day passes are $10.

Experiencia fantástica: The Epic is epic! Such a unique place to get physically and mentally fit. There is something for everyone here. I will sometimes spend hours here at a time. All of the staff is super friendly, helpful, and genuinely care about your fitness goals. I will be a lifetime member!

Experiencia fantástica: This 120,000 square foot facility is a true gathering place for residents and visitors that enjoy the arts, performing arts, art classes, meeting rooms, a culinary kitchen and so much more. Courts for basketball, pickleball and more. The gym and outdoor exercise area overlook the grand lawn that will be used for outdoor concerts and events. There is also an indoor track and adventure track. Toddlers, kids and teens will have their own recreation areas while parents work out. The kids area is free for the first two hours. Membership fees range annually for a family of 5 - $699 and $499 if you live in Grand Prairie. Individual adult memberships annually are $499 and $299 for residents.
