Experiencia fantástica: This gym is hardcore. They have huge spheres of concrete for lifting. There is a regulation size wrestling mat. Squat racks take up an entire wall of the gym. There is no locker room or air conditioning because I don't pay membership fees for fluff. Experiencia fantástica: Moved from Philly and found this gym. Was surprised about the 50 a month, they have deals if in military, but it's worth it. Like other comments, there are simply no other gyms like this around here. I mistakenly left this gym to go to a 24 hour gym and environment, iron, and learning is very important. Needless to say I'm back. This gym collectively can make you into a better athlete!!! Think about your goals. Get big, go hard, join this gym.

Experiencia fantástica: Joining Metroflex Gym Long Beach has been one of the best decisions I ever made in my life! I know that sounds like an exaggerated infomercial claim but is the absolute truth: When I joined I was twice my size and suffering from chronic pain. Today I am SO STRONG, I actually have some cardiovascular endurance, and for the first time in my life I actually ENJOY EXERCISING! There are so many different types of training available at Metroflex that I never find myself bored or spending hours on end on a treadmill will little results to show. Even though it may look intimidating from the outside, there are members of all ages and abilities and the staff and other members are incredibly helpful and encouraging. If you are on the fence, please go check it out, you will be so glad you did!

Experiencia fantástica: I drive 30 miles to go here because there is no other place like it. I never felt more accepted because the staff here are so friendly and so giving. The gym itself is perfect. im a bodybuilder and this gym provides me with enough weights and equipment so I don't have to wait for anything. Eddie is a good man and the trainers here are second to none.

Experiencia positiva: Great gym w/ no mask police .. but messed up my workout when they allowed filmmakers in that told everyone to be quiet and stop working out. So this was a major inconvenience imposed on all of us that were trying to get in a workout. Otherwise woulda given it 5 star.

I recommend this gym too serious people because it's a serious place and the day pass is only $15. I love it!!

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome gym. Finally found a good real iron gym to workout and great atmosphere and people. Staff is great and the motivation as well. They have machines and equipment not found in commercial gyms. Highly recommend it for serious lifters, bodybuilder or any goals you might have.

Experiencia fantástica: About once a month (give or take) KO Promotions puts on a amatuer mixed martial arts event here. There's about 10 to 12 fights so you get a lot of bang for your buck. They even serve food here during the events (street tacos and burritos). The competition is fierce as the amateurs have a lot to prove. Plus occasionally, you can meet professional fighters here like AJ McKee, Kevin "Baby Slice" Ferguson Jr., Gabriel Green and more. This is CAMO certified and referees are from the CA state athletic commission. If you are in the area, check it out as these fighters are the next generation of talent.

This is a hard core, power focused gym that will eat the other guys for lunch. Friendly to the beginner, equped for the veteran.. but this is not a fluffy gym at all.

Experiencia fantástica: Indeed it is good gym.Through it is little bit old but it has all the modern accessories and machine.Very energetic place.When you see lots of people doing excercise you will surely get motivated to do so.Normally,they do not serve any food item,but whenever there is any event they offer healthy meal.Staff are very friendly and polite.They know their job responsibility and effectively perform those responsibility.

Experiencia fantástica: Perfect atmosphere for Iron heads. Music in the background. Every weight range you can think of. I drove from Los Alamitos daily about 0445 to Long Beach off of South and Obispo just for this place. Well worth it and I'll be back.
