Between programming and nutrition, he helped my son (14 years old) put on nearly 30 pounds of muscle in the last year. My husband (43) had a different set of priorities and Coach James addressed those also. We are so grateful to have found this gym. One day, I’ll get in there too!

Experiencia fantástica: Definitely THE place to go if you’re looking for a powerlifting facility. There are more racks and plates than you’ll ever need here. It’s also set up for olympic lifting, with men’s and women’s bars and calibrated bumper plates. James, the owner, is a phenomenal coach as well. Highly recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: James Townsend is a fabulous strength coach. I am in my early sixties and he seems to have the knowledge to deal with people of all age ranges. Not to mention I was a novice when I started with him back in September 2019. In that time through his coaching I have set 9 state records and one American record in power lifting. I would highly recommend a Elite Iron.

I had a lot of fun training here with top tier equipment (calibrated plates and eleiko bars) and the owner was super understanding and flexible with letting powerlifters train. Highly recommend this facility if you're in the northern Atlanta area.

Experiencia fantástica: If you’re a Powerlifter or weightlifter and not training with coach Townsend you’re not maximizing your potential. This gym is a great place to train - calibrated kg plates, competition racks/platforms and a great training atmosphere for equipped, raw Powerlifters and weightlifters alike. A must visit gym if you’re a lifter in the southeast!

Experiencia fantástica: Elite Iron has a positive and frenetic energy. There are plenty of platforms and racks in a cozy environment. There is a very convivial atmosphere. All of the equipment is in kilos that match competition grade. It is a great place to get fit and strong. I would highly recommend it to someone looking to commit to a serious routine.
