Experiencia fantástica: BEST SAUNA IN THE CITY. I used his sauna to drop weight for upcoming fights and the owner was willing to give me a very fair price on use of the sauna only. They also have an assault sprinter which is hard to find. The gym atmosphere is great. Diverse , great energy and the owner is actively there. Great equipment, clean , nice locker room / shower area. A great overall gym. Coming from a gym guy, you wouldn't go wrong choosing this place.

Experiencia negativa: Somehow I have been getting charged for 2 memberships to this gym for the last two months, including 2 annual fees. I have called, talked to staff in person, and even tried messaging on their website to figure out what is going on. The staff have been very pleasant throughout this issue. Apparently the owner has to fix this issue. He was supposed to call me today to figure it out between 0500-noon. I didn’t receive a single phone call. Guess it’s time to cancel since it will be cheaper than paying for 2 memberships. Sadly, I actually like the facility and staff.

Experiencia fantástica: A great old, school, "dirty" gym. You get in, lift, sweat, lift, get out. My 2 minor complaints, are the "broccoli head" standing in the way, and a couple newer machines needed (i.e. chest supported T bar row, flat bench weighted press) . But, I love the old school way, as opposed to a "fitness center"

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic gym, I've been a member for 3 years now. It has a very convenient location right off of Stringtown Rd. They have made many upgrades since I have been there such as a bigger sauna, and new designs painted on the walls to name a few. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and the gym is kept very clean. The gym has a very family like dynamic and all the members are very welcoming to new comers. Was able to lose 130 LBS in my first year going here, and its been a great gym to build muscle at ever since!! PS - Opt for a 24/7 membership, it is very convenient.

Experiencia negativa: The review below was from 2 months ago. Their website and membership information has been updated since then. Beware of the new language. It appears as if you can't cancel without penalty and you will be "forever month to month" which is the current language on the website. Clarify this and read fine print if you sign up and ensure you get a full copy of what you sign. Prior review before website/contracts updates: This gym is not kept clean. I was not given the back side of my contract on paper and it was not given to me electronically. There were multiple answers as to how to cancel and when. An extra payment was taken out after I went in person to cancel my membership within the time frame they said I could cancel. When I called about the extra payment the call ended with me being hung up on. When I called back after verifying the extra payment was made, I was hung up on again after being told that the manager would call me. Regarding the reply below. The opportunity to "easily handle" this was up to your staff member both times I called. It was not communicated before he hung up that he was going to do anything further other than having the manager call and while on the call he let me know the manager was already notified. Also, I only received one piece of paper for my contract and it was only printed on one side. I was told by your front desk staff that the reason I didnt know how to cancel properly when I first called in 3 months before my contract was to end was because I didnt have the back side of the contract so I got that information from your staff member that there wasca front and a back side. My contract was not emailed to me so again, thats why I called twice to inquire how to avoid extra payments coming out. I didn't get any emails from your business until I complained about my extra payment then only the cancel form was emailed and that was only emailed then because I complained. I have asked for a copy of the complete contract and my emails have been ignored now you saying you sent the contract to my credit card company and you did not send it to them. You sent the cancel form to them that has the wrong date on it. I came in to cancel when your staff told me to. I was given wrong information if I ever went month to month because my first call was in May and my contract wasn't up until mid August. I notified you twice about canceling before my contract was up yet still you say I agreed to an extra payment and that is false. I would never have signed a form if I knew it was a wrong date. I had no way to check the date without adding up all my payments before coming in but I shouldn't have to because I called and was told when to come in and cancel because your contract does not clearly state how to cancel on time.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to Buckeye Fitness Club for about 6 months. I asked one of the owner’s for a referral for a personal trainer. Mike set me up with Keegan Williams. I quickly saw that I had NEVER been using the equipment correctly lol and I really just never knew how to workout and target certain areas. I quickly began seeing results! Keegan has really really helped me to meet my goals in a healthy way! The best gym I’ve ever been to and definitely the best trainer!

My daughter loves going into the kids club and wakes up every saturday asking when it’s time to go in! The trainers & owners are great! Experiencia fantástica: I'm so glad I found Buckeye Fitness!!!! I was a long time member at a different gym and the members there were like family to me, but I needed a place closer to work so I could lift on my lunch break. As soon as I walked in and met the owner and the staff I knew Buckeye Fitness was the perfect environment. Buckeye has the non corporate grungy feel, but it's extremely clean and inviting. The owners and trainers were all welcoming and made me feel right at home!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a member at larger gyms in the area and honestly, never enjoyed the environment of those. From day one of joining at Buckeye Fitness, I have always felt welcomed and treated as a person and not just a number. I definitely prefer the smaller feel and sense of community here. I have been a member now going on 3 years and never had a bad experience with any other members, staff or the owners. Everyone seems to be respectful of others no matter their level of fitness. The trainers are more than willing to help if you have questions and they never try to sell you on a service. No matter what your fitness goals may be, Buckeye Fitness has everything to help you achieve them.

Experiencia negativa: Just wasn't a huge fan of the quality or availability of equipment. Super small space with so many people it just wasn't worth it to spend much time in here. I was trying to join a gym so I could get out of home gym, just turns out my equipment is nicer which is weird.

Great atmosphere for people of all ages and all goals. The 24 hour access was a key component for my choice of this gym since my work hours vary. The staff was always very helpful and kept the gym neat, clean, and organized.

Experiencia fantástica: You can’t beat the prices ESPECIALLY when they provide the kids club and free tanning! It’s extremely difficult to get a sitter so I can get a work out in here and there. With this benefit, I can work out almost every day. My kids love the room they have with toys and my goes to watch and meeting new kids to play with. Highly recommend coming to Buckeye!

Holy other small issue I had was requires a one year commitment which I’m not crazy about personally but the fact that they allow you to access 24 hours seven days a week at your own discretion is a major plus. The manager Justin is a class act very approachable

Look at the reviews, one that really caught My eye was the Dequan M one about the personal trainer. I understand where he is coming from. The personal trainer should have gave him at least half of his money back , anyway looking at the reviews I bet that review is true about that dirty personal trainer.... and how after that review all his friends start leaving good comments about that same particular guy. Something is not right here. If that was me my brothers would have been on that personal trainer ass forsure. Plus I heard they really not 24hours .

Within one year's time, Frank helped me transform from an underweight girl with little to no muscle, to an NPC competitor. Highly recommend this gym and Frank Riffe Fitness training!

Experiencia fantástica: Two months ago I decided I wanted to compete in bikini, but had no clue where to even begin. I was on instagram one day and stumbled across a trainer, Frank Riffe, who trains out of this gym, so I reached out to him. He was very quick to reply and eager to help me. We discussed my goals and he gave me all the tools necessary to help me. Here we are 2 months in, and I could not be happier with the progress I’m seeing! Would highly recommend contacting him ! The gym is great for many reasons, but for me it’s perfect because it feels like a big fitness family. The staff is so friendly and everyone is encouraging...no matter what your goals are. It’s super affordable (even for a broke college student) and all the equipment is kept clean and in good condition. They even have tanning beds and saunas! If you need a trainer or a new gym, check this place out!!! I promise you will not be disappointed !

WATCH OUT FOR THIS PERSONAL TRAINER: Frank Riffe - OHIO AREA - My Experience/Story **would add photo Attachments but don't know how to do it on google reviews ** So I been looking for a personal trainer to help me get to my goal of losing 80 pounds in 4months A course we talked about my goals before he started training me. -  I met with frank at Buckeye he seem like a cool guy,I told him that I would probably pay for the 4months up front - which I should have never said because now the Focus is money - he started being pushy about paying him before he start training me, So I gave him the benefit of the doubt and give him $300 for the first month (he charges $300 of month)plus 1/3 for the second month $100 = $400 through via PayPal he suggested that I don't sent the money though the Business part of PayPal but to send it like I'm sending it to a friend. I started seeing signs that he was not interested in helping me get to my goals from the first week we worked out . *Long story short* - some important things come up and I decided not to train with him anymore. So I asked for a refund of $275.00 because we did work out for one(1) week allowing him to keep $125.00 of the money for his time for the first week. Prior to working out with him he said the meal plan was included the $300.00 a month but now it's value at $100 .... he said the money is not refundable .. soo NO I will be getting nothing back .So WATCH OUT FOR THIS GUY. #Sketchy #people don't always do what is right. ----------Seriously ---------- ****( DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE COMING TO THIS GYM )**** -PSA - If they look FIT it's only to win Championships not to really help you reach your goals. ** Really hope he understands what he did is completely wrong ...I want ppl to be aware . Experiencia positiva: I have been working out here for about two months - at first it was more to just get me moving - I have been struggling with weight gain since my brother passed away in 2009 and my coping method has been food. I have been a size 13 down to a size 4 and it fluctuates and it's just bc some days/years are worse than others. Does not help that as a woman in her mid 30's my metabolism seems to be completely different. Well, long story short, I have been working out with Frank and love it. He gets me motivated and makes it fun (for the most part haha) ... He's a great guy and very easy to work with. I appreciate everything he is doing to help me become healthy. He even makes me a vegetarian meal plan (which I do my best to follow and if I cheat - I know to just not give up and to get back on the wagon.) To me this is a lifestyle change, not a fad or a get slim quick goal. I have to work hard to get results, and am glad that a friend of mine suggested and introduced me to Frank. I would have been struggling if it wasn't for his motivation to get up and get active. He's a very talented, motivated guy who really just wants to help me attain my goals. I appreciate every text telling me to get my butt into the gym on my "off" days!! :) Definitely would suggest the gym and especially working with Frank!

Experiencia fantástica: I love this gym. They have 24 hour access and it feels cozy like its family. The locker rooms are nice. They have tanning beds and daycare for 4 hours a day which is awesome for single parents. I love this gym and ill continue to go here after i get back from basic

Experiencia fantástica: I have been working with Rich (personal trainer) at Buckeye Fitness and my experience thus far have been great! Rich is passionate about personal training. Rich works hard by providing customized workouts based off the results I want. He helps me stay focused and motivated during the sessions. I stay in Westerville. This gym is located in Grove City. If it was not for Rich's consistency and dedication I would have went to a gym locally and not be as successful. Rich cares about my fitness goals which keeps me happy as member at Buckeye Fitness.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a Fitness Trainer here at Buckeye Fitness. I joined and became a member while I was a trainer at another gym. I decided to transfer over and became a trainer at this gym for the following reasons. I served 4 years in the Marine Corps Infantry so doing whatever I can to benefit the community is something I hold close to my heart. So upon looking for gyms around the area, I didn't care about the size or the cost, I was just looking for a gym that genuinely cared about the members and was there to support them. The biggest reason why I joined this gym is because its a family atmosphere. No matter who you are, the staff including myself will always greet you and do whatever we can to make your fitness goal happen. I know that's what separates us the most from the other gyms in the area. You'll find the most gyms only care about obtaining revenue, which shows when you compare the cost of a membership or personal training. While as long as we can keep the lights on, our main focus is to make sure the community can benefit from our gym. No matter what your goal is, everyone there is going to support you in every aspect.

Experiencia fantástica: By far the best gym in town, and you got to love their price on membership dues. I've had a membership for about three months and I knew this was my gym after the first week. It's always very clean and I have never seen any machines or equipment broken. The owners are very informative, and will help achieve goals that you have set for yourself.... It's definitely a family atmosphere!
