Experiencia negativa: Black men BE CAUTIOUS! I recently stopped training at this facility. I was interrupted during my workout by an older white man. After a BS lecture about him explaining to me it’s nothing wrong with working a job etc…. He said to me “don’t get caught selling drugs” …. I wasn’t bothering ANYONE. I was away from other members listing to my music getting fit after a long day at my 9to5. What he said to me is how Fort Wayne, Indiana views confident black men. Maybe I should walk with my head down or just not train at all. It’s a fun physiological game that FWPD and local gyms do to us. They assume the worse. I’m a tax paying citizen, part-time college student and a FATHER being told to “don’t get caught selling drugs” it’s not a CULTure problem. I can name a separate gym in Fort Wayne that profile black men… My co-worker (a black man) was told by an employee at a different gym to “stay away from another gym member because he’s a cop” WHY is that being told someone who came to the gym to train? Some People are horrible, I don’t know if that’s a weird bonding tactic to seem like the cool white guy around black people or what… but hey who cares? Nothing will get fixed. Btw beautiful facility with all the equipment you’ll need to get fit. Just horrible people in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Ridiculous

Experiencia negativa: New management has jacked this place up. Been going here for over 10 years and you decide to cram in all the workout equipment on top of each other and take away ALL 8 full courts for pickle ball?! You really had to take ALL OF THEM for this? Seems like new management is trying to push out a “specific” group of people if you ask me. To put it lightly. The limited interactions I’ve had when seeing new management in the facility gives a let’s get rid of the riff raff vibe. I dropped my membership. Sucks because there was no other place like Spiece. ------- Update: I wrote this 2+ years ago, and you responded 11 months ago. Better late than never, I guess. The generic response was, "Let us know how we can improve the facility to get that 5-star next time." You don’t have to respond just to respond. The things that would warrant a 5-star rating are in my post. I don’t know you, so this is not personal—just my unfiltered thoughts. You wanted to come through and create your vision, add a fun center and pickleball, fine—but taking every basketball court and making the place unfamiliar to long-time guests would be part of my answer of working you way to a “5-star rating.”

Experiencia fantástica: Great gym. Good hours. Atmosphere is almost perfect; not dead, not an overcrowded zoo of a gym. Saunas run hot, perfect for those winter days. The owner is phenomenal and truly cares about the fitness community. Make sure to check out the extensive class lineup with the best instructors in Fort Wayne!

Experiencia fantástica: This is one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to for powerlifters and bodybuilders. The equipment is exactly what you want, the layout makes heavy training easy, and the walking track on the upper level is a huge bonus. Honestly, the entire complex is impressive. If you’re looking for a gym and your focus is serious weightlifting, this place is absolutely worth it.

Been with the gym for 4 months now and out of all the gyms in Fort Wayne this has the best over all experience. Being able to just talk with the staff and know they understand and will help you through this is a place I will stay long term.

Fellow patrons are friendly and foster a truly positive fitness culture. The fitness classes are a fantastic bonus—icing on the cake. Highly recommended!

The group classes they offer have been a huge help in me getting started. Especially the 6:15 am spin class! I always have an amazing day after exercising that early!!

The selection of group classes is excellent, with a variety of options at different times that make it easy to fit into any schedule. PLENTY of free classes with membership also. Staff is super friendly, and they’re constantly cleaning! Many great trainers available also. In one word: legendary!!!

Have had this membership for close to a year haven’t been able to step one foot in this place since cause my job schedule changing and still no consideration to cancel my membership I guess this place is so down in dumps that a 40 dollar blood Otha membership is needed so badly
