Experiencia negativa: If you’d like to workout with a friend who can scan you in over a reputable gym. This is not the place. If you’re looking for the enthusiastic staff who can help you with setting a membership as well, this is not the place either. Would recommend not stopping by 8-9am if you’re trying to get a membership or have someone scan you in for a workout. Staff aren’t punctual enough to help you on time and disappear when you’d like to get a tour of the gym. Might as well go to the next gym down the street.

Experiencia negativa: This gym is a joke don’t waste your time.they don’t care about people all they care about is money the contract tells you that do not sign up for anything with anytime fitness I’ve been to several of there gyms and I see the same thing at all of them broken equipment dirty restrooms and showers, And management at brownwood is the worse they are very disrespectful and unprofessional and don’t inform you of anything. So take my advice and don’t waste your time and money go to a gym that knows how to treat people. There’s really nice gyms out there that really do care please make a better choice

Experiencia fantástica: Anytime Fitness at Morrison is hands down one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to. The facility is always spotless, with clean restrooms and fresh towels always available. Every machine is well-maintained and working, which makes every workout smooth and frustration-free. The atmosphere is welcoming, motivating, and perfect for anyone serious about fitness or just starting out. Huge shoutout to Gaby, who helped train me through my recovery after an ACL/MCL/meniscus tear. I went from struggling to squat under a plate to now repping over 3 plates—something I never thought possible post-injury. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and always knew how to push and encourage me at just the right moments. Also want to recognize Lilian and Abel—they're always helpful, friendly, and create such a positive environment in the gym. If you’re looking for a gym that’s clean, welcoming, and staffed with amazing people, this is the place!

Experiencia fantástica: I've had such a great experience at Anytime Fitness! The gym is always clean, well-equipped, and has a welcoming atmosphere. I especially want to give a big shoutout to Lilian and Gaby, they’re absolutely amazing! Lilian is always upbeat and encouraging. She takes the time to get to know members and makes everyone feel comfortable, no matter their fitness level. Gaby is equally fantastic! She is very knowledgeable, helpful, and always ready to offer tips or motivation when you need it most. Thanks to their support, coming to the gym is something I genuinely look forward to. La coach Gaby es una excelente entrenadora la verdad nunca me habia gustado hacer ejercicio y desde que entre siempre muy atenta y motivadora tanto que me inspira a no faltan ningun dia ni en vacaciones de verano y eso ya es mucho para mi, ya que nunca me habia pasado sentirme tan agusto con una clase. El ambiente es muy agradable, todos los que trabajan ahí y la gente que va muy respetuosos, y el lugar está siempre limpio, con instalaciones impecables. He estado en otros gimnasios, pero aquí realmente me siento cómoda y con ganas de seguir y viendo mis cambios fisicos y de salud. Recomiendo 100000 %

Experiencia fantástica: All of the equipment in the gym felt new and fresh. Everything from the floor to the paint on the walls felt fresh and clean. I'm not sure if the place has been recently renovated, but it felt like a new gym. It wasn't too crowded at any time of the day to get a nice exercise in. I definitely prefer this over the other gyms nearby.

I canceled my membership in October 2024 after the Brownsville location closed without any explanation. They were saying I still need to pay extra fees if i want to close my membership—even though I don't owe anything! On top of that, they told me I have to go all the way to Mission to settle it. Why should I go to another city when my gym was in Brownsville? This is completely unfair and feels like a scam. Do not join this club—they’ll keep charging you even after closure. If anyone else is dealing with this, we should seriously consider legal action. Stay away!

Despite multiple attempts to cancel our membership, they delayed the process and refused to allow us to close it. Now, we have discovered that they are still withdrawing money without authorization. This is completely unacceptable, and we will be taking legal action. We are also gathering other affected members to take collective legal steps against this unethical business practice. Beware before signing up!n

Experiencia negativa: This gym was closed for several months, and when it reopened, it had the same equipment—very limited compared to other gyms in the area, with few racks and machines. Very disappointed.

Experiencia negativa: I had a 2 year contract, and my only complaint is that it has been closed for too long. 1/18/2025 They charged my account, however it hasnt been open yet. I need a refund.

Experiencia fantástica: This gym stands out from the rest of the gyms in Brownsville, for many reasons. Kevin, the GM, is always welcoming and involved at the gym. He makes sure that I’m in the loop with running events, since I enjoy running. I don’t take any private coaching from her, but Coach Gaby is always killing it with her clients. Always diligent and always keeping her clients accountable during their workouts. The equipment is always well kept. The gym is always so clean. It is never crowded and all other members are respectful of everyone else’s space. I love this gym and would encourage anyone to give them a try.

Experiencia negativa: The place is, frankly, pretty dirty and has no new equipment. There’s hardly any racks to use for squat, bench, or DL. Half the cardio equipment doesn’t work. The only couple of upsides are that it’s in a convenient location and it is spacious. Management is also very petty. I love the AF I go to in Oklahoma, but was shocked by this one while traveling for the holidays. Might have to just take a rest week when I travel to Brownsville in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly and helpful staff. Clean gym. Open 24/7. Each member has a key fob so not just anyone can walk in-safety first. Typically empty during non peak times but for sure they need to expand soon.

Experiencia fantástica: Very welcoming and engaging staff. Clean, covid-safe facilities with sanitizer and disinfectant wipes readily available. Machines are consciously spaced out, so you don’t feel like you’re on top of the person next to you when exercising. The onboarding process is really easy and straightforward and the need for a membership key to enter adds a layer of safety to the gym experience at any time of day or night. 10/10 highly recommend, you will walk in as happily as you walk out.
