Experiencia fantástica: Overall fantastic gym. Fair amount of both auto belay and top rope routes, along with a small bouldering room. This is the smallest AR gym, and that frequently causes it to be fairly busy, especially during the climbing team's practice time. Lots of kids running around, especially given the size of the gym. AR really needs another location to the south to take pressure off this location (Muskego/Franklin area?), especially during peak times. Staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful, the place is always clean and tidy, and routes are changed at just the right rate.

Experiencia fantástica: Great gym, lots of auto belay options for the younger kids or anyone climbing without a partner. Lots of variety of levels on the auto belays as well. Great friendly and informative stage. Overall, the gym is smaller than the Milwaukee gym, but laid out to take advantage of the building and the various room heights available.

Experiencia fantástica: Such a great day to spend a rainy day. Good experience and good exercise. Clean environment and friendly staff they give you a run down before you start to make sure your aware of how to use and keep yourself safe. Will be back!

Experiencia fantástica: Great place to "learn the ropes"! Came here as a part of a scouts climbing merit badge lock in. The staff was great, very patient and knew how to keep the attention of the kids. They took their time, and kept going with all the kids till they had completed the badge which took till midnight. Thank you for sticking around and giving the kids a great learning experience

Experiencia fantástica: My son just joined a rock climbing club and he went to a practice at the adventure rock in Brookfield. I was surprised how busy it was but I guess rock climbing is a thing. My son bought some shoes there so he would not have to keep on renting. The staff was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. He got a discount for being member (part of the club) which was nice. Definitely a lot of positives so far and my son is really enjoying his experience.

Experiencia negativa: Hadn't been to adventure rock since I was young. Decided to go with some friends, bad idea. Will never return. Immediately after signing the waiver a little girl fell from the tied off area. I have no idea how you can allow that to happen with professionals standing all around. Was she not harnessed properly? Was no one holding the rope? Their is no excuse for this little girl with most likely several broken bones and a long recovery ahead. Didn't even get a refund. Do not use this location. Someone needs to be fired.

Experiencia fantástica: I am not an outdoorsy person, but really enjoyed this experience with my niece and nephews. They walk you through protocols and make everything clear so you are safe. Overall we had a great time and there were enough stations that we didn’t have to wait long for a wall to open up.

Experiencia negativa: The staff are exceptional but the managements decision to add less set screws has created an occasionally dangerous environment where it otherwise doesn't have to be. The location also already closes earlier than many climbers would prefer and with the change in summer hours its getting worse. Paying the same membership fee for less access feels like robbery. This gym would be 5 star for community and 1 star for management decisions based on my experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been coming to adventure rock for a couple years now. There’s always a great selection of auto belay climbs, roped climbs and a dedicated lead climb wall too. Great bouldering area that gets updated regularly. This location does get fairly packed during peak hours FYI The staff is also very helpful and friendly offering advice on gear and other aspects of climbing. Specially I’d like to thank Sam S. for being a great member of the adventure rock team, I always see him go above and beyond whenever I go to climb!

I really appreciate one of his latest top rope routes in the big room at Brookfield. It is FUN, yet challenging. I didn’t flash it the first time but did conquer the route after a couple tries! Thanks for an AMAZING route Sam!

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome climbing gym with a lot of route options! They have both auto-belay and top rope options. They also have a room dedicated to bouldering and a great assortment of fitness equipment to get in a good workout. Friendly staff and a great community of climbers. Plus, there is a decent selection of climbing gear and a nice space up front to hang out or rest in between climbs.

The first thing that stood out upon entering Adventure Rock was the friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were eager to assist, whether you were a beginner like me or an experienced climber looking to improve. Their emphasis on safety was reassuring, and they provided thorough orientation and guidance for newcomer like myself. The climbing walls at Adventure Rock are truly impressive. They offer a variety of routes suitable for climbers of all levels, from beginners to advanced. The routes are creatively designed, and the gym regularly updates them, ensuring that each visit offers a fresh challenge.

Experiencia fantástica: Cool climbing place. Various difficulty levels to challenge most people. Climbing gear (shoes and harnesses) is available for additional fee as well as chalk for purchase.

Experiencia fantástica: Climbed here and at their other locations a lot during 2022. The routes change regularly and provide various levels of difficulty. Only complaint that this location is that the walls aren't as high as the one in downtown MKE.

Experiencia fantástica: Been here a few times just recently went with my 4year old and she absolutly loved it as well staff is always freindly and price is good. Highly recomend if you like climbing for beginers to advanced climbing routes. (Not a pro so cant speak for pro routes lol)

Experiencia fantástica: Last time I was here was 6 years ago. Not much has changed and it really was fun. $25 for one climb for an adult. Pretty good to spend about 2 hours here.

Experiencia negativa: Despite having visited numerous rock climbing gyms, this one stood out for all the wrong reasons. The unfriendly staff and the inconsistent belaying approval policy left me with a negative impression. In comparison to other gyms, this experience fell short, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Experiencia positiva: Great spot to fall in love with climbing. Be sure to check how busy it is ahead of time. Either by checking on their google business profile or on their website. Love this company and it’s gyms but have been feeling the squeeze on paying members regarding space and general availability. I can imagine it’s stressful for new people trying to break into rock climbing. I’ve witnessed people very close to me who were overwhelmed by the gyms. I’m interested to see how Ad Rock will work to improve the overall gym experience. Less overcrowding, better amenities, better organization for member belongings, etc.

I’ve really enjoyed learning and improving my skill here. They have tons of events and the atmosphere is super welcoming. Highly recommend coming in to check it out sometime.

Experiencia fantástica: Sam S. and Lane D. were great instructors for the belay course. They carefully took the time to explain each of the steps required to properly secure someone onto the ropes and were kind and patient with myself and others through the whole process. Would highly recommend their course to others and want to thank them for their guidance :)

Experiencia positiva: Pros: Clean, fun, unintimidating for first-time climbers. If you're thinking about it, go! It's worth it! Cons: It's pricey. Get the Groupon. Be prepared to pay for equipment rental - you'll need shoes and harness from them.

Experiencia fantástica: North Ave at Commerce Street is great for tall walls. Walker Point is great for inverted and negative ascent climbs.. Pewaukee is not as tall, but the walls make you think and choose your moves accordingly. All 3 are nice. Staff is excellent at all 3 locations.

Experiencia fantástica: My first visit was very comfortable. I haven’t climbed in over ten years, so the orientation was incredibly helpful. There are walls for every skill level, and bouldering routes as well. They also have an area with standard weights and gym equipment for those who are looking for full fitness, including cardio. Their rates are super fair and the staff are friendly and helpful. They both offer equipment rental and sell many supplies on site at reasonable prices. Definitely recommend giving them a visit.

Experiencia positiva: Interesting place for a Birthday Boy to have his party...the 2 hour time slot is plenty of time for climbing and celebrating. At this point in time, you are able to bring in your own food, have pizza delivered, cupcakes, or a cake and call it a day. It is helpful to have others on hand to keep an eye out and help depending on the number of children age and experience of the climbers. Many areas to climb and various degree of difficulty on the walls. There is a locker room, not a place for snacking and very limited Sport drinks for sale. Equipment can be rented as part of your fee or available for purchase. You can check the website for the number of climbers at any given time. Note to staff, All Restrooms could be cleaner and should be checked hourly.

Experiencia fantástica: Oh boy what an experience! Attended birthday party and had a blast. The attendants were very friendly and helpful in getting party-goers trained in using equipment safely. The party room was large and had table, chairs, refrigerator and freezer. Plenty of space for our 15+ group to use. Everyone had a great experience and a unique way to have a fun and safe adventure. Climbing was a great workout for the kids so highly recommend giving it a try. Though parking lot full the facility is large and plenty of different level walls to climb. Thanks for a great time!

Experiencia negativa: Not that fun for kids. There are some auto belay stations for kids, but your kids can not even try half of the stations because of the type of rope. It's sort of set up for more serious climbers. There is also a small gym in back with shorter walls and no ropes but it's also quite a challenge for kids. Price for admission and equipment is $25 so not really a great value for a kids fun day. My kids were bored after only an hour. It did get very repetitive

Experiencia fantástica: This place is such a good time. If you're brand new to climbing, they have some great instructions and the Auto Belay is a work of genius. Before you head in, check Groupon for any discounts - it always seems like there is a special (it got us to go!). There are many different difficulty levels that are color coded so you know what you're getting yourself into. The Auto Belay allows you to climb without someone belaying your rope, which is awesome because it allows inexperienced climbers (like myself) to have the freedom to choose which walls to climb. There are several rooms, some with boulder climbs (no rope but close to the ground) and really high climbs in a couple rooms. The place is super clean and everyone was very friendly. There were tons of kids here, just flying up the walls, but they got tired after a few hours so i'm sure their parents loved that it burned them out! We will absolutely be back. 100%.

It's a great atmosphere for everyone, from experienced rock climbers looking to train to beginners looking for excellent instruction. The route setters do a great job keeping a variety of new routes up and the desk staff is always friendly. This is a fun place to hang out and exercise. Sure beats going to the gym and using a treadmill.

Experiencia fantástica: Haven't rock climbed in years indoors, went today, and it was pretty fun. They have everything here for the beginners to the hardcore climbers. Birthday room, lockers, a small weight room. I think my friend goes there for 40 a month. Seems like a great deal if you love rock climbing.
