Experiencia negativa: Give you the run around to cancel membership, literally charges me a membership fee and won’t cancel me membership saying I have to pay $100 more on top of the $130 I paid to join that was supposed to be to cancel membership early

Experiencia negativa: Given constant runarounds about membership price and fees. Gym is somewhat run down-- several letters on the sign don't even light up- has been this way for YEARS. Enjoy working out at CALIFO FI since thats what the sign says at night time! Came to sign up for a membership in November. Was pressured to sign up because "prices would increase at new years time." Was not offered the monthly membership price shown on the website, or even the price PRINTED ON THE WINDOWS OF THE BUILDING; ultimately the owner instead ended up charging me the "new price" that he tried to convince me I was getting ahead of by signing up before the new year. Also you still get charged for the final month of membership despite paying first and last month of membership at the time of signup. Then on top of everything else, cancelling membership is a chore. I went in to cancel and was told that I had to call the billing company myself or, send an email to the owner hoping that he handles it for me someday. Then on top of everything else, they asked me for 5 star review on google the day i came in to cancel my membership. Lol!!!

Experiencia negativa: I joined their gym last summer and the owner required me to put my card on auto pay, and that I would be charged each month given I didn’t anticipate being in the area for more than a couple months which I ended up moving away a month later. I believe they kept charging my card unnecessarily even when I wasn’t living in the area. When I moved out of state, I opened a new bank account where they no longer had a valid card on file. I am now receiving calls from collection agencies where I owe $660. Not once did I receive a call from the gym asking if I would still like to keep my membership the following month to clarify me moving. I keep calling the gym to speak to the owner and they do not respond. This has negatively impacted my credit score! This is pure fraudulent. Please don’t go here!

Experiencia fantástica: It's a great 24 hour fitness gym, close to home, like 5 min away. Lots of different machines to work out on and other variety of things to do with the weights, balls, bicycles etc . Met some nice friends there too. My hubby and I work out for an hour Mon.,Wed. and Fridays too.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been at this gym for a couple weeks now and I’ve felt so welcomed throughout my workouts. The staff is so helpful when it comes to their members and have an answer to all your questions. They give you great advice and are there for you with your journey.

Experiencia negativa: WHAT A SCAM!!! DON’T GO!! PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU SIGN UP!! They take advantage of innocent people! They don’t let you cancel! Last year my father a 73 (a the time) yr old veteran, went to join the gym and paid upfront because he only wanted to join for 1 yr. He talked to the OWNER and they agreed it would only be for 18 MONTHS. My father is a trusting person so he didn’t realize to read the paperwork, but they agreed to the 18 MONTHS so my dad signed the paperwork thinking he was paying up front and not giving them a credit card so there would be no problem. HOWEVER! We then found out a few months in that my mother was dying of stage 4 cancer and my dad’s heart was bad and he couldn’t go anymore because the doctors told him to stop. My father talked again TO THE OWNER, and told the OWNER that his heart is bad and that he could no longer go can he have part of his money back and the owner said NO, EVEN THOUGH THERE IS A DISABILITY CLAUSE TO TERMINATE THE CONTRACT, THE OWNER SAID NO! MY DAD didn’t know that at the time so again he begged for his money and told the guy about his heart and said his wife was dying and his heart is bad please do something, and the guy said no. My dad told me about this recently because NOW he’s getting BILLS and LATE FEES from them so I reached out after reading the contract and found out the guy snuck in the contract about a continuation after the year was up and how you have to cancel and how there is a disability clause! So I emailed him 2 WEEKS AGO AND NO REPLY!!! WHAT A SCAM!!!!

Experiencia positiva: Its got just enough to get a proper work out bit alot of the equipment ( Elyptical machines) is pretty worn and needs replacing.

Experiencia negativa: They are scammers. Beware. Look at all the other reviews. I have also tried to cancel and they will not process a cancellation. Kept charging me for 3 months until I finally changed bank cards. With proof of numerous attempts to cancel, they then sent me to collections. Absolute scammers.

Experiencia negativa: I have been unable to cancel my membership even after moving to a whole different city. Constant ignoring calls and extremely poor customer service!! Lots of terms and conditions were swept under the rug and not disclosed with me. It's better to spend the extra $10 to go to 24hr fitness.

Experiencia negativa: I have had trouble canceling my gym membership for the past 3 months. I am currently moving to a DIFFERENT area and have sent a picture of PROOF that I live there and that I have been sent electricity/water bills, yet they still have made up some sort of excuse, so I still have yet to cancel my membership. They keep charging me for my membership and are unwilling to cooperate with my plan. At this point, it is embarrassing as an owner of a buisness, have to resort to such methods to try to gain as much profit as possible. I would highly advise you go to a different gym that has better equipment and better staff than this place!! Absolutely disappointing. I will probably still have to pay for the membership even after I move hours away from here. I truly do regret signing up here.

Experiencia fantástica: A really nice little gym. It's small but they have all of the equipment you can think of and it's never too crowded so you don't have to worry about having to wait to use anything. Ruthie is always super friendly and helpful whenever you need anything.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give 0 stars I would. The lady here is extremely rude and very unprofessional. Do not waste your money, I canceled my membership and they still keep charging KICK ROCKS

Experiencia fantástica: Parking, plenty. Cubbies spacious enough to hold your belongings. Drinks (water, sports, etc) available for sale. Husband & I have been members for almost a year now. Ruth signed us up. She's so friendly, & helpful. Biggest perk about this gym are the hours, 24hours access with our key card & its affordable. 2 bathrooms, both always clean. Remotes nearby if you want to change the channel. They've always got a great playlist/music going on. Wi-Fi info posted on the wall. Towels provided.

Experiencia negativa: Awful. Absolutely awful, I canceled my membership over 2 years ago. I called, I emailed, and I went in to tell them to stop charging my card. Come to find out, I’m somehow in collections with them for 176$! I paid every month, on time. I even let the month I was charged extra slide! There is no reason I should be in collections with them! I called to find out why and no one answered, big surprise! Awful management, spend the extra 15$ at inshape or city sport

I emailed them several times and they never responded. As well as calling them every other day for 2 weeks. They never answer the phone and the staff are very rude. Wouldn’t recommend!

Experiencia negativa: I've been coming here for a year. When I signed up they made us pay extra to work out during the week. Later thet started bootcamp during the week that takes over the entire gym at peak workout times. Now, they have some old lady who harassed me at the front door because she didnt hear the click on my card although it opened the door for me. Note she had a jacket on and was talking on the cell phone out front. Never saw her before had no clue who she was harassing me. She followed me into the gym because she didn't like my attitude when I asked who she was. As nice as the owners and bootcamp lady are this place is a joke. If there was another close gym to be I'd go somewhere else.

NOT only that, their machines and benches are all of low quality. Honest review here. I would love this gym since it's so close to my home. But they are just terrible. Step it up with your service.

Experiencia negativa: Very deceptive gym...After submitting a request to cancel my membership with Ken and being reassured it would be done, I've come to find out IT NEVER GOT DONE...

Experiencia fantástica: Been here a couple time since I signed up almost three months ago. I like the fact that the facilities is clean, that's a big part to get people through the door . Next part I must say impressed me is that the busiest I have he gym ranging anywhere from 11am -11pm is that there Is no more than 10 other people in there so there is no wait for the machine that you want.plus I don't see much chit chat going on between the gym goers. One is able to just go in work out and leave no questions asked. Last but not least management. Ken ( the owner) has made me feel welcome when I first signed up by explaining to me all the different payment methods that are available. He wasn't too pushy (like some gyms can be) and was willing to let me have a trial workout first to see if the gym was a good fit (which it did). And he is also the boot camp instructor now I haven't personally tried those yet so I can't comment on that.
