Experiencia positiva: Went to the wrong pool and ended up here, didn’t know I was at a fitness place so I was looking forward to swimming. But the receptionist told me to get lost and I wish I got her name. (Written at 4:30 A.M. so if it’s bad sorry)

Experiencia negativa: The lady working front desk today (05/01/2024 6:30 p.m) was absolutely awful and rude, I wish I got her name but I just wanted to leave as soon as I could. I’m 19 and a server, so I am the VERY last person to ever write a review like this, as I understand all of what customer service encompasses- but man is this needed. Right off the back this woman was passive. We had just gotten off of work so maybe it was us looking disheveled, being brown, or something else entirely, but whatever it was, we were greeted coldly. I had previously communicated with Cox via phone and in-person and both times I had great service, that is, until today. She started asking for verification items that were beyond what was asked for the first two times management and I had talked, which was super weird. My father and I took a couple minutes to privately discuss if we wanted to go ahead with the membership and she interrupted us to see if we had made up our mind already, it seemed like we were a disturbance. We ended up leaving so we wouldn’t have to feel her piercing eyes and hear her judgmental attitude. She told us to talk to a manager not even halfway through discussing options, as I rightfully had some questions about the policy and contract. I have always been taught to maintain my decorum through experiences like this and I wish the same courtesy would have been extended back. My tone did not waiver and I hope she learns that being kind goes a long ways. Also, after that whole experience I called the Republic center and Bella was so kind. Got more information from our 5 minute call than from that women in Branson.

Experiencia fantástica: Choose this place to do my physical therapy after blowing out my shoulder. It has a lot of machines so not much downtime between sets, also not to busy during my time frame that I need on rebuilding it. Staff members are professional and helpful if you have any questions.

Experiencia fantástica: Staff is super friendly! Good selection of equipment and machines, even though the gym is smaller, it's not so busy you can't use what you need. Very clean and lots of natural light which is nice!

Experiencia positiva: Inside walking/running track nice & equipment. Wish the city's swimming pool access was included in the membership since it is on the premises and the best exercise. Didn't care for Pam's attitude when I was the only one that showed up for her class. She kept saying I could stay if I wanted; I didn't drive there to see if anyone else showed up.

Experiencia fantástica: Lots of free weights and machines. Never crowded. Nice aerobic classes Honor the Silver Sneaker insurance program...membership is at no cost to seniors with the silver Sneaker on their insurance

Experiencia fantástica: In September of 2017 I suffered a heart attack requiring triple bypass surgery. After committing to cardiac rehabilitation, I quickly realized that I would need a gym to continue my progress. I went to every gym in the Branson area to find one best suited for me. When I met the rec plex fitness centers director Adam and one of the trainers ( Nate), I knew this was the place for me. I've made over 200 visits to the gym now and the employees there have become family. The equipment is in top shape. The free weights are always organized and clean. The staff are very educated and awesome at their jobs. I recommend this facility to everyone interested in improving their fitness. A huge thanks to all who have helped me on this road of recovery and for the kindness you've shown me.

My clients included planet fitness, Golds gyms Etc. This gym is designed for older people and people trying to get a level of fitness in their life. heavy lifting Etc. is for a "Mikey's Gym" if you know what I mean. We are fortunate to have this nice of a gym in a small place like Branson.

Experiencia negativa: They have a variety of good equipment and that's a plus. The other gyms don't have newish equipment or may be missing an inclined bench or heck I've seen TR doesn't even have a bench press at all. That's crazy. The bad. Coxhealth fitness center is located on the SECOND floor. They kept repeating that same phrase as i was signing up to the point that i almost left halfway through. They really want this ingrained into your brain folks. According to a regular member i spoke to he said if you drop a dumbbell even by accident they will rush over and reprimand you. Is this planet fitness? The more bad. I do not yell or drop weights but there's a time where you are so tired you might drop a dumbbell or two. It happens. I'll see how long I'll last. I'm a power lifter and they have a deadlift platform set up. I will use it like it's supposed to be used but i should not have this feeling that I am going to be kicked out for dead lifting on a deadlifting platform. Management: for future references ground level gyms tend to get better reviews. Whoever decided to place a gym on the second floor should be fired. And if they already are then hire them back and fire them again. P.s. You are not planet fitness but if that is your goal then get a lunk alarm.
