Experiencia negativa: I had my son’s 4th birthday party here. CHAOTIC is what myself and other guests described this party as. We had a group of 20 kids plus their parents. I was told we would have 40 mins to set the room up before the kids came in. No, we didn’t even get 10 mins. Our kids were told to come up earlier than their time. They sent our kids up before the pizza got there. So we had 20 kids plus parents in the upstairs room. There was no space to move, it was hot! I believe that room was way past capacity. The kids are sitting there with no food and nothing to do. Finally a manager apologized and said the pizza was running late and the kids were sent up earlier than they should have, so I can have the kids go back down to play until the pizza got there, the kids went down for 10-15 mins, then were rushed up back as soon as the pizza arrived. Now for the helpers. We had 2 teenagers. They were not helpful at all for the set up. My nanny and I were putting out the juice boxes, setting up the room, everything. Guests were asking for napkins, plates, cups. I had to run down to ask for candles/lighter/cake cutter.. (everything that should have been set up prior). Finally when the pizza came, we had 3 different toppings. The helpers were not asking kids what they wanted, they were just passing whatever box was on top. It felt rushed, hot and just chaos. I did not get to play with my baby on his bday for more than 5 mins, which was the saddest part. At the end of the party, a manager apologized for the way the party was handled. And while an apology is nice, it doesn’t negate the experience. I would never throw another party here, I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic place for my 9 year old to safely climb run and jump. He pushes his body with instruction and while having a great time. Highly recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: COACH GABE IS AWESOME! We signed up our two living room stuntmen for weekly lessons. They’re *super* active toddlers, and we felt they need a structured outlet. They had a spotty start, and we thought maybe this was not for them. Coach Gabe reassured us that herding cats mode is not unusual in the beginning, especially with the 3-5 year-olds. He and the staff have been patient, and encouraging with them. I totally admit our boys are intermediate/expert level toddlers Today they had a great day! They (mostly) followed directions, and participated in the class. This is a true testament to Coach Gabe, and his skillful instruction.

Experiencia fantástica: JD’s NOT A NINJA Everyone’s a Ninja at Ultimate Ninjas Chicago except JD who couldn’t make it. JD is one of our good buddy’s who always bluffs us saying he’s gonna come join in the fun but always has something come up by the time for whatever we’re doing. Tonight it was a “rash” that was bothering him. Well JD, I’ve had a “rash” for a year and you don’t see me totally flaking on our outings. Well, this time we decided to do something. We made a ton of videos showing JD just how much fun we had. I hope you enjoy just half as much as we did because you enjoyed the full amount you might pass out! THANKS ‍

Experiencia fantástica: We used to do weekly classes for our 5 year old and the instructors were always good with the kids. We just planned our child's 6th birthday party here. It was a little chaotic as they have 4 birthdays going at one time, two using the divided ninja space and two in the two party rooms. I wish we had known those logistics ahead of time as that would have made some pre planning easier. But it worked out. The staff sets everything up in the room for you while the kids are playing. Overall was an easy party.

Experiencia negativa: Given my first experience with ultimate ninja at the Montrose location I decided to book again because my daughter had a blast for one of her birthday s and it was a great experience …for some reason due to them not reaching out to schedule my birthday request for some reason I already knew I was going to have issues with this location … due to them not answering my bday request I decided to call after emailing two different managers and no one got back I set my bday party over the phone … they stated they’d call a week before to instruct / ask if I want additional services that never happened …fast forward we had her birthday this past Saturday and it was the worst .. facility lacked what the Montrose one had and the staff was not engaged at all and did not help at all with telling the kids how the obstacle courses should be used and you could clearly see they were struggling … instead when I saw a kid struggling I said loudly “ask the staff that’s what they’re here to assist with our curiosity/questions … the staff was doing the obstacle courses while we were playing which is fine but I would of preferred them being more observant of the struggles and getting on to teach not so they can be working out or whatever they were doing … one was throwing a football around … fast forward when we got to the party room they rushed everything I understand there’s only 20 mins but to start singing happy birthday without alerting me so I can snap a video and pictures was beyond disrespectful….they gave me so much anxiety how fast they were moving and not consulting the parents … so rude … the amount of anxiety I felt from being rushed into things was insane …. I felt like I was getting kicked out minutes into It ….i brought my own napkins and plates for everything because they said they would provide but with how the process went I was nervous the facility would not provide and to my surprise it was the best idea considering they barely had any… it was my daughters tenth birthday this is why I’m extremely disappointment in the lack of engagement and rush the staff had ….. lastly I was overcharged and when I called they stated oh did I I’ll have my manager refund me which I’m nervous about considering management didn’t even reach out when I inquired about the party to begin with …. At this point it is safe to say I’ll never book here again

Experiencia fantástica: Simply the BEST after-school activity investment we’ve made for our 2 boys. The coaches are phenomenal. Absolutely top notch. David, the general manager, is passionate about building the best Ninja gym for kids possible. He leads his team by example and is out coaching right along side his staff. This gym has helped give my little guys drive, confidence and self-esteem. Don’t hesitate to give them a try. You will not be disappointed!!

Experiencia fantástica: I was curious about Ultimate Ninjas for a while and decided to participate in their open gym options. I was pleasantly surprised with the facility. It has various permanent obstacle courses, as well as rotating courses to help you improve balance, strength,and mobility. The staff is amiable and in particular Coach Leo who demonstrates how to complete the obstacles and strategies to assist in your development. Ultimate Ninjas has a welcoming environment for all and I look forward to my return!

I'm so impressed how the obsticles are constantly changing in interesting and creative ways. The best part is his instructor who is kind, supportive, and helpful! Experiencia positiva: We had our son's 7th birthday party here with about 15 kids. The kids had a fun time playing on all the ninja warrior equipment and it was good to get their energy out and work up an appetite. The staff was friendly and helpful to usher us throughout the party. A big downside is that it was a pretty impersonal experience due to the way they structure parties, which is like an assembly line. Your group arrives and you do not have access to your party room until 40 minutes AFTER your party time starts. You put your decorations, food, cake, and gifts in a holding room until the party before you clears out, then you can get set up in the room while the kids continue playing. You have 40 minutes to set up the space then, once the playing time is over, your group has 30 minutes in the party room for food and cake. This felt quite rushed. Overall, the kids enjoyed it, but the actual party timing and coordination left something to be desired. This negatively impacted my experience. I expected to have access to the party room the whole time where we could set up in advance and come in and out throughout the duration of the party window. Would I book another party here? I won't rule it out definitely, but I would consider other options first.

The coaches really know their stuff and they motivate kids to reach new goals.If you want your kids (or even yourself!) to get more active, even if they're not into specific sports, this is the place!

They are SO flexible with rescheduling (both weekly classes and summer camps), the instructors are kind and competent, and they are very on top of COVID protocols. My 12 year old is resistant to most athletic endeavors, but he LOVES going to WCN, and they greet him as a regular whenever he shows up. This place makes the kids feel welcome, teaches resilience and grit, designs age-appropriate activities, and most of all, makes it FUN!

I'd like to specifically call out Coach Eddie - He went above and beyond to help my daughter, who was in a cast and couldn't do a lot of the activities as she'd like too, but he still made sure she had a wonderful time in a safe way.

Experiencia negativa: Their website allowed me to sign my kids up for family fun pizza night. We got there. Front desk checked us in... 35 min later, worker came up to me asking me to leave. Worker spent 10-15 minutes asking me how I got onto it on website to sign up because there was a private party. I walked her through it. Here’s the part I really have a problem with...when I asked how are you going to compensate us for your screw up she said “sorry, I already had to compensate the woman who paid for the private party so I’m not compensating you” We are both customers. This is terrible customer service!!!!!

They offered pizza and drinks and had a small room with tables and seating were we enjoyed eating and some cake. I do recommend it for kids parties and also think adults will have a good workout as well.

Experiencia fantástica: The facilities at Windy City Ninjas are really fantastic — even in a city as big as Chicago it's hard to find a ninja gym this nice. It's purpose-built and high quality, and new obstacles are added pretty frequently. Currently they're a little more geared to children's classes, birthday parties, etc., but are slowly growing the adult classes and open gyms as well. I can say that I've been here a number of times, and kids as well as adults always seem to have a great time. My experiences with the staff have always been great; the team is small so if you come in regularly you get to know them pretty well. Come try out a class and get a great workout!
