In just seven months, I’ve lost 40 pounds—and more importantly, I’ve gained a new level of confidence, energy, and motivation that I never thought possible. The workouts are incredibly effective and addictive in the best way. Every class is different, challenging, and designed to push you without overwhelming you. I genuinely look forward to going because I know I’ll walk out feeling stronger and better than I did when I walked in. The coaches and front desk team are beyond friendly, supportive, and accommodating. They create such a welcoming atmosphere that no matter where you are in your fitness journey, you feel like you belong. I’m completely obsessed—in the healthiest way—and I can’t recommend it enough! Cannot wait to see my results after another 140 classes!!!

Experiencia negativa: This studio decides when & who they enforce certain policies with. I signed up for my first class and was turned away because I arrived 20 min before class instead of 30 minutes before the start of class time. While turning me away, Lauren was extremely rude and continued to repeat "I never used the word 'around' 11:30, I said exactly 11:30." in her voicemail, but regardless it was my fault I did not know the policy as I should have read it on the website before attending a class. Honestly, very disappointing and awful customer service. I completely understand that policies are in place for a reason and I have no problem with that, however the way she approached the situation was shockingly disrespectful. I left the gym as I was not allowed to take the class, Lauren and the coach continued to talk negatively about me in front of other gym members (including my friend), which is literally my biggest fear when joining a gym in the first place!! Orange theory also has a "very strict" late policy, some studios provide a 5 minute grace period and there is a hard cutoff after 5-10 minutes for safety/ liability reasons. However, my friend attended the class and people continued to enter class 15 minutes after start time, which is strictly against company policy. I would not recommend this studio because of the attitude of the staff, as well as the inconsistency with which policies are enforced, but mostly because they were unusually mean. Really sad experience :/

Experiencia fantástica: For over five years, I do Orangetheory 5-6 times a week and love the high intensity workout, energetic coaches, and community. My home studio is in Washington, D.C. on Capitol Hill, but I visited this location during a two-week stay in Del Ray Beach. Two blocks from my flat, it was great to walk to and from Orangetheory. I LOVED working out at this location. I'll walk you through my experience as well as compare it to my home studio in Washington, D.C.'s Eastern Market. Here's my experience. 1) Check-In: Having the highest membership, I easily booked the 9:45am 2G class via the app weeks in advance. Since I turned on the "share my info with other studios" on the app, I didn't have to fill out any forms during my first visit. I showed up three minutes before class, checked-in, signed up for treadmill #3, and got ready for class. The studio is on the bottom level of a newer development. There are two clean unisex restrooms and two showers. There are little cubicles to store your phone, wallet, etc. There are places to sit in the lobby as you wait as well as a little store off to the side. It's here where you can purchase an Orangetheory sweat towel for $5. My gym in D.C. gives you white towels for free, but I was grateful staff gave me the towel for free even after I offered to pay for it. 2) Class: The coach was Elise, who was excellent! She was full of energy and really inspired us to push harder and take appropriate rests. I could tell she knew the 11 others in the 9:45am 2G class. The equipment is nice and the studio didn't feel crowded. One thing to note is that the treadmills' speed goes to 12 unlike 15 in my home studio in D.C. 3) Customer Service: Everyone was very nice and welcoming. The AC happened to not be working making for an extra hard workout, but staff gave several updates ensuring that it will be fixed ASAP. They had fans in the studio in the meantime. If you want an excellent workout in a clean studio, go here!

Experiencia negativa: I just moved to Delray from Jupiter and wasn’t sure if I would continue with OTF or try something new (F45). I went in person to check how much OTF would cost and they mentioned it would be $179/month. I indicated that I have family members at the Jupiter location and if the $10 discount would apply. They said yes. A few weeks later, I joined OTF in Delray and was told that the membership contract would be $179/month for the unlimited classes and that they would have a note in their system for the family discount. Fast forward, they charge me $179/month for the first two months (I did not notice the first charge of $179 because I bought a monitor at the same time so the overall charge to my Amex was over $200).I called the studio and they said they could not refund me for the previous months and that it would show up in my next payment. Turns out I am moving again and need to cancel my membership. I ask if the discount(s) can apply for the cancellation monthly payment because I will not be returning and they’ve over charged me. They agreed and I signed the cancellation form. A few days go by and I get a call from the manager indicating that they have received the cancellation form and that they are processing it and if I had any questions. I mentioned the amount that they took. The manager basically denied everything that was said and done previously. She said that my contract and notes did not indicate what I mentioned over the phone (even though it was agreed upon in studio when I mentioned it to the staff while cancelling my membership). She was quite rude over the phone which made me quite rude. I was frustrated because this is not the first time they’ve messed things up and that I’ve had to go back to speak with them and finally fix it. I know most of the staff (at least the ones that I’ve dealt with recently) are new so that may have a part in it but I do not recommend this studio AT ALL. I’ve been a member of OTF since 2019 in Montreal, Canada then moved to Florida and kept my membership in Jupiter. Loved both locations. It seems like the bad reviews regarding this place and that they only care about taking your membership money is accurate. Very disappointing.

Experiencia negativa: It’s frustrating to watch a great sports club slowly fall apart, and it’s not because of the trainers or the hardworking staff—it’s because of decisions being made at the top. Since the new CTO took over, everything that made this club special is being dismantled. It feels intentional, like they’re stripping away the culture that made this place thrive. Prices keep going up, but not because the studios or trainers are working harder—it’s just not good leadership. The same guy already ran another company into the ground, and now he’s hiring his team nonstop to do the same here. The energy, community, and passion that made this the best club I’ve been part of for the last 5 years are disappearing. It's so sad to see it go this way. Good luck to the trainers and members—you’re the ones who made this place great. Let’s hope the right people start paying attention before it’s too late.

She was vibrant, friendly, completely knowledgeable on the business, and beyond professional. She explained EVERYTHING, and with utter patience (I’m not the best learner). Then the workout - Olivia is a rockstar! She really put me to work, and in such an encouraging way - exactly what I needed! Once the workout was done, I was sold - I wanted in. Sydney and Kelsey walked me through the whole process - answered all of my questions/concerns - it was an all around beautiful experience, and I’m happy to now be a part of the OTF team! Experiencia fantástica: Orangetheory is as great as they claim. I actually look forward to class and it’s the only way I’ve been able to achieve a commitment to regular exercise. For years, other attempts by joining expensive gyms, barre studios, etc. did not work - excuses came readily and easily. At Orangetheory I enjoy going to classes - they are fast paced, variable and challenging. What was most important for me is that it doesn’t feel like a competition with others; everyone works at their own pace. It also works for those who are competitive, with special events and challenges. I recommend Orangetheory to everyone.

Experiencia negativa: I would give this place a 0/5 stars if I could. I spoke to the front desk to cancel my membership and continued to get charged for months passed the cancellation. When I called to question the charges they said there was nothing more they could do because the front desk person “did not put a note about cancellation” and I was never told I needed to sign a form to cancel the membership nor was I ever sent one. Needless to say, don’t trust them with your money or cancelling your membership when you ask. Overall an incredibly frustrating experience. Never again.

Experiencia negativa: I had a medical condition where half of my face went paralyzed and when I cancelled my membership due to not being able to work out anymore they charged me $200. After I spoke to the studio manager since I had extenuating circumstances he said he would call me back within 48 hours and he never did.

Correct class, location, time and instructor and was told they couldn’t find me on the roster and couldn’t join the class. Even though my app clearly showed I was in the correct class. I am extremely frustrated I even woke up early and showed up to the class. This is ridiculous and someone needs to correct this situation so it doesn’t happen again.

Experiencia negativa: I recently moved back to South Florida & I’ve been looking for a workout/gym that best suits me. I tried Slash, PurLife & Fit Body Bootcamp…ALL AWESOME. Everyone raves about Orangetheory so I thought I’d give it a try, since the first workout is complimentary. I signed up, they make you give a credit card, which none other of the above mentioned gyms do. I showed up 15 minutes prior to my 4pm class & was denied entry. The frizzy haired girl at the reception said I needed to be there at least 30 minutes prior for a tour & basically I needed to be deemed healthy enough to workout there. Im in my early 40’s, athletic but a little chubby, have been doing 5 mile hikes at high elevation for the last 2 years, at home HIIT & trampoline exercises. I was completely embarrassed & felt a bit fat shamed. I found that to be super rude, judgy & condescending. I mean people go to gyms to better themselves, no? Im happy she denied me because I would never work out there. Ever. Go to any other gym in Delray. This one has a lot to learn about customer service & wellness. Update: I have reached out to this gym, at their request, twice. No response. How and where would you like me to send you a message? There's no email provided. I've reached out via fb messenger.

Experiencia negativa: What a disgrace of an establishment. I joined this studio initially because they offered the early 5am classes. However, just weeks into my membership they cancelled these classes without warning and my only other option was to go to the Boynton studio which was in the opposite direction of my commute. More over on October 13th of 2020 I went into the studio and requested to cancel my membership (4 days after my draw date) as I had just found out I was pregnant, high risk and unable to use the month I just paid for, per my doctor. The sales associate, Colby, talked me into just putting the account on freeze and assured me that the studio would call me before unfreezing my account, following the pregnancy and indicated that this would save me money in the event that I did choose to return. Fast forward to August 9th (less than 6 weeks postpartum) where I was surprised to find that Orange Theory took it upon themselves to withdraw $169 from my account without having ever calling me to inquire as to whether or not I wanted to unfreeze. It should not go without mentioning that to date, I have still not been cleared by my physician to work out give that I am still not eight weeks postpartum. What is even more frustrating is the fact that this overdrew my account and cost me additional fees through my bank. I called the studio and spoke to Cami who apologized for the inconvenience and assured me that the regional manager would be in touch to issue me a refund. Cami indicated also that she would be sending me a termination form. Three hours later, I still did not have said form and had to call back and have it sent. After several days and without a call from said regional manager, I called back the studio and spoke with Michael. I explained the situation to Michael and Michael stated that he was "not supposed to" but going to issue me a refund. Michael explained that it would take 5 to 7 business days. I waited the 7 business days and then some... still no refund. Again, I called the studio back and asked to speak to a manager this time. Finally, after several attempts I was able to contact Kylie, the manager, who confirmed that the regional manager, Paul Muse, would be the one that I would need to speak to. She provided me with his contact information and I reached out immediately. 48 hours later and after ANOTHER phone call to the studio, I got an email response from Paul, who refused to issue me a refund, stating that I agreed to unfreezing the account, which is completely fabricated. AGAIN, I am still not even cleared by my physician to work out following a complicated and high-risk pregnancy. Furthermore, Paul had the audacity to offer to "extend my month" as if it was a favor! It is very clear that orange theory is much more concerned on getting their money, than their members health!

Experiencia negativa: When I come to visit my office in Boca, I workout at this facility, supposed to be one of the original OTF spots. I am an OTF addict, who goes to OTF wherever travels brings me. First time I loved this place, everything was great. On my last trip to Boca, I stayed in a hotel nearby, and I went to this facility 4-5 times a week. All of sudden detected 2-3 weird charges from them on my credit card -- supposedly they signed me up for "Back-at-It Challenge" because I liked a picture on the instagram, yes, you read it right -- seems insane, and while at it, they mistakenly charged me a "no-show" fee. Not a lot for money, $35 for the challenge and $12 for no-show, so I figured, I'd reach out to them and inquire. They were rude, and unprofessional. It took me nearly a month to get reimbursed for this charge after multiple calls and text messages. The workout and the trainers are great, but this was no bueno.

Experiencia negativa: Save your money. This place is just a money grab. I was a founding member, and had frozen my account since March 2020 due to Covid. They kept letting me know when the freeze was up, and I would continue to freeze it, as I am not comfortable going to a group workout during the current time. I called after I saw a charge on my credit card, and was told they texted me and left a message that the freeze was ending, which is absolutely not true. I had continued to freeze it for the past year, so why wouldn't I continue to do so if I was informed the freeze was up again?? They charged my Credit Card the monthly fee when I have not been to a class in almost a year. When I called to simply ask them to refund the money back and for me to continue to freeze my account, the manager let me know her regional manager would not authorize it. During these current times, I just find that disgusting, and I will never give my money to any Orange Theory nor will I recommend it to anyone. They cared more about $100 than doing the right thing.

Her personality and the structure of her workouts, make it easier for me to reach my fitness goals. 100% recommended!
