Experiencia fantástica: Great place for kids of all ages! My grandsons love it

Experiencia fantástica: Life guards are very involved and kind with young swimmers and not going crazy on the whistle, as teen guards often are. There is no "after hours" pricing ($6.00 each for young children - same price as adults - so $18.00 total for three of us two hours before close) but the pool and all facilities are super clean. Music being played was not crazy loud and thank heavens NOT 80's "classic rock" music that so many pools play for hours on end. Just nice, tame, happy tunes. We did not use snack bar but lots of people were and they have plenty of tables to sit and snack at.

Experiencia fantástica: I have had nothing but positive experiences here. I was very surprised that Bolivar has so many people who want to exercise and share in community. This is a excellent facility. I workout 6- 7 days a week.

Experiencia positiva: Music was easy to loud. Can't communicate with kids very well when always having to yell. It's always way to hot for the people not swimming. Also need to address the slippery entrance to the pool with the lazy river. Water is always nice though and overall it is a nice indoor pool.

Experiencia negativa: Will update once we are actually able to visit. The aqua center is closed on Sunday... the only day we were able to make it so it can be available for parties. Very sad.

Experiencia fantástica: My niece had a bday party here a couple of weeks ago and it was so much fun! Her party was ocean themed and they happened to have the perfect sea turtle decoration on the wall, right above where we set up. The pool was clean as always, and even though I've been here a thousand times, it's still just as fun as day 1. The rock climbing wall was really hard though.

Experiencia positiva: I attended my granddaughters birthday party held in the pool area. I was impressed with the aquatic center. It was clean and bright, well-staffed with a great layout. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because when I arrived I overheard a swim instructor complaining about three being a birthday party and she apparently had to move to accommodate us. She was unprofessional but she was the only dark spot in the experience. I didn't use the workout equipment but did see that they had a lot of machines available and they all seemed newer and in good repair.

Experiencia fantástica: Best spot in town to hoop w the fam! They don’t hold the entire gym hostage during fitness classes anymore. Family friendly basketball court with plenty of equipment to play sports (including pickle ball) and a running track (18 laps/mi). Locker room/bathrooms are clean. The staff are super friendly, the sports director rocks and closing shift staff are literally amazing!! At one point I wrote an extremely critical and scathing review about this gym but my experience in the last 8 months have improved by far, so I decided I need to post about it!

Experiencia positiva: I work out here and have for a while. It’s kinda disappointing that there isn’t a better gym in town. They have a decent amount of equipment but they’re missing a few things and they have only added things that they already have, just a duplicate of machines. They have plenty of weights and things but they don’t have pull up bars I can use (I’m 5’1) It’s also pretty echoey in there but I like the new treadmills they have because they have fans. No other complaints tbh other than the pool is gross and overcrowded and I can’t use it to exercise or relax. Lots of kids.

Experiencia positiva: The place is awesome, but they close the aquatic part for half the year.. I don't see how you can have "aquatic" in the name. Right now it doesn't open until may.. I want to add yhe aquatic play place is indoors. I would rate it higher if closing it were to change.

Experiencia fantástica: I've lived in Bolivar for a long time and have never been here until this week. We had a four year olds birthday party here and there was something for every age to do.

Experiencia fantástica: My son visited the pool for open swim on Saturday. It was reasonably priced for him to get in at $6. There were approximately 10 lifeguards for everyone's safety. He said the men's locker room was clean and large.

Experiencia fantástica: Not only do we attend yoga every Monday and Wednesday, but the ladies are incredible at the front desk! Mary is so friendly, and the instructors are so informative!

I haven't been to any classes yet but I'm sure they're just as wonderful! 10/10 it's kept clean as well!

Experiencia negativa: Roy Blunt YMCA closed last year due to covid and was sold to the city of Bolivar aquatic and rec center. The reason for hating the YMCA is because it no longer exists in Bolivar Missouri.

Experiencia negativa: There’s some girl here that looks like dora explorer telling us to do her job and being extremely rude

Experiencia positiva: Lots of petty crimes happening here by unsupervised middle schoolers. If you use a locker, bring a lock. This is not a babysitting service and your kids might just end up in more mischief than they should if used as such. With that being said, this is a great place for families to kick back and have a good time. I gave it only 3 stars because parts of the pool have fiber glass sticking up off the floor and I have gotten plenty of splinters this year, I hope they recoat it before next season. Lifeguards do a great job keeping kids from drowning and kids can always find an adult to assist in an emergency, but the locker rooms is where most of the bad stuff goes down. The Lifeguard's job is not to keep your middle school daughter from making out with or leaving with a highschool guy, which happens far too often here. It is assumed if a kid comes alone, they can leave alone. Kids probably get up to less mischief here then at home alone, but there has been as least one drug dealing related arrest here this year. Management does the best they can to keep petty crimes down, it is simply a result of parents treating the public pool like it is a daycare.

Experiencia positiva: Fun for kids but not alot of places to sit well watched the life guards are young and can keep up with all the hyper kids so safety is a plus always alot of people but that's cause the kids love it they do ok st keeping up restrooms small amount of food not to over priced but a hop from any fastfood your want you can come and go all day good music friendly staff

Experiencia positiva: The aquatic center was very humid. I don't know why they don't open the roof to lower the temperature. The smell of bleach is also very overpowering. The life guards are very observant. They jumped in and saved a kid who couldn't keep above water. The facility was very clean.

Experiencia positiva: This placed is closed currently but should reopen in the future. I was there to.work on the mechanical systems. Still have to upkeep an unoccupied building. It looks to be a very nice civic center with a basket ball court, dance studio, tons of workout equipment including some free weights. Pool tables, ping pong and other games and accessories. Child day care facilities with the attached indoor pool someone else runs.

Experiencia positiva: Decent place to workout, but they're more pricey and the hours can sometimes be a pain to work around. It can also get crowded in there really quickly, so if you're people shy in regards to working out, this may not be a suitable place for you.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been to a significant number of gyms and workout centers in 3 states. I can't believe that little Bolivar,MO has one of the nicest facilities I have been in.
