I get the Peace of Mind that my Wife and Daughter have a location to work out that is CLEAN SAFE AND SECURE. In my heart of Hearts No one in this Area can beat that.

Experiencia negativa: This is a typical CFX. Filthy, filthy, filthy!!! Additionally, many of the wall clocks do not work…perhaps a trip to a “dollar-type store” to obtain some batteries will resolve that issue? In my humble opinion, all CFX locations need to shut down during nonpeak hours to perform a deep cleaning. On the upside, the staff is professional and accommodating. Sign-up! But bring your own cleaning supplies to sanitize equipment and if you plan to use a toilet or shower.

Through training with her, it really helped me reframe the way I had been working out and what I needed to adjust to meet my fitness goals. Vivi really helped me focus on my form and stability which was huge for me! She always uses a good balance of kindness while also making sure you aren’t slacking! Anyone training with her will certainly leave with more understanding of their body and will be one step closer to their goals

He is graceful only when he sees effort. Professional and relatable. I was hesitant about wasting money on a trainer but this has been the best investment in myself I could have physically done. Trainers are always available, helpful. Front desk staff are friendly and informative. Gym is clean and keeps machines in working conditions.

Experiencia negativa: REVIEW ON : CHARTER FITNESS: BEWARE OF UNAUTHORIZED BANK WITHDRAWALS from your checking accounts. I transferred from the Olympia Fields fitness to Markham, IL Charter Fitness. After almost two years, when the Markham center closed down, Charter Fitness continued to take monthly and annual fees from my checking account. When I confronted the Olympia Fields office about it they refused to return my monies saying I did not cancel my membership. I said the Markham center closed, and I informed them that I HAD NOT returned months before they even closed. They still refused to give my money back, so a judge will have to determine the outcome to me getting my money back. Why would you continue taking money from my account when you have shut down the place where I was going? This is FRAUDULENT BUSINESS ACTIVITY. That's why they're bent on getting access to your checking account, so please, upon leaving CHANGE YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBERS.

I can get in and complete my workout in a timely manner without having to wait a ridiculous amount of time to use the equipment. I've also been working with Sterling, one of the trainers and it has been great. He created a custom workout to help me reach my goals. Each week, I feel more confident that I will reach my goals and I am already noticing improvement.

All information was backed by science and he encouraged me to begin using the gym from an educated stance versus likes and dislikes. Mike was thorough and helpful; he even cleaned my weights after use.

Experiencia negativa: I was ok with not having towels to wipe the machines during off hours because we had disinfecting wipes, even though there aren't enough dispensers placed conviently around the gym. But today there weren't even any wipes. I was pretty grossed out my entire workout, sharing sweat and hair oil left on the equipment by others isn't sanitary.

Experiencia negativa: I currently rotate between three gyms depending on my workout for the day, but in all honesty, CFX is my least favorite gym. This location is definitely no-frills, which is what I prefer in a club. The employees at OF are all top-notch and very welcoming. They seem to always be busy cleaning, helping answer questions, and smiling encouragingly. The overall environment is very conducive to a pleasant workout experience without being intrusive. On the other hand, this gym as a whole needs a MAJOR refresh that general cleaning won't accomplish. The equipment is worn and dated, several cardio machines are actually rusted, the strength machines also have rust, dust, dirt, and grime, machines creak when used, and many of the machines are missing pins, weights, and/or dials. In addition, whenever the towels run out, there are no paper towels available to clean the equipment so I always bring my own rags. My husband refuses to workout at CFX, but I personally enjoy one ARC trainer at the club more than anyplace else, so I continue to visit here. Unfortunately, most times I strength train elsewhere due to the condition of the equipment. Hopefully management will re-invest in this location to help retain and attract more customers.

Unfortunately when I was asking question about each membership and what they offer he got irritated and told me if I wasn’t serious try planet fitness where anybody goes. Very rude and unnecessary. I will be calling corporate. This gym is literally down the street from my house, but if Mike (GM) is who I’ll have to deal with when coming to the gym, no thank you!

Experiencia negativa: Staff is fine, but don't come here if you have actual fitness goals. At any given time half of the equipment is out of order, missing a piece, etc. There's also a complete lack of etiquette. People don't clean up after themselves and seem to come here to hang out. Equipment in generally not clean, and there are no paper towels in the entire facility- only air dryers. Folks will just sit on machines not doing anything or will be on their phone taking up equipment and tend to not let you rotate in when you ask. Management absolutely doesn't encourage any etiquette. There was an instance where I was physically threatened to a fight when asking to rotate in on a machine and staff didn't care at all. Also beware of all of the positive reviews- they are giving free drinks/shakes to people who provide Google reviews.
