Experiencia fantástica: I go to Carle Health and Fitness 3 X weekly. I would love to go more but it’s 40 min round trip, located on the far east side of Bloomington. The facilities are nice; very clean, friendly and knowledgeable staff. There is nothing missing. They have an indoor track, weights (of course), plenty of cardio equipment (never a wait) and an indoor pool. I had joined LA Fitness for this reason but they closed! I highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: It is the best gym I have ever had membership with. It has everything a senior would need to keep the old muscles, joints and blood moving. The staff are excellent! My only drawback is that the women's shower stalls smell like mold. Otherwise, I'm pleased.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a minor medical incident at the gym last Thursday. I would like to commend your staff (and fellow members) for the very rapid and caring attention I received that day. When I returned to the gym yesterday, many people asked how I was doing, and commented about the feeling of "family" was quite apparent after the incident. This is why I love Carle Health and Fitness Center and the members I see every day. Thank you so much for having created such a wonderful place to exercise!

Experiencia negativa: Clean gym, but Sauna and Steam room in the women’s locker room need serious updating. I was furious when they put toxic off gassing mats in their saunas. You can use it without smelling like burnt rubber. Steam room is some cheap plastic steam room. For the cost of the membership this is disappointing!

The facilities are kept clean and the equipment is maintained very well. Finally, the membership has always been respectful and courteous.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the best gym in Blono area, they have everything to make you satisfied and while you work out you can use sauna, chill in jacuzzi, and swim in a two different pools. Also there are tons of programs included in your membership. Also you can have a personal trainer and so on, so far this is the place i wanna be at least 4 times a week. Strongly recommended ❤️‍

Experiencia negativa: The worst fitness center I have ever seen. Please don't go for memberships, it's a big scam. Why? You need to cancel by the 20th of the month to avoid being charged for the next month. You have to go in person to cancel. You can't cancel over the phone, via email. I guess you'd be paying forever if you moved halfway across the country and hadn't canceled your membership.

Experiencia negativa: UPDATED REVIEW I've knocked the review down from 5 stars to 1 star due to their membership cancellation policy. Why? It's extremely arbitrary. First of all, you need to cancel by the 20th of the month to avoid being charged for the next month. Why? Who knows. I can't think of any reason why they would need to do this. Second, you have to show up in person to cancel. You can't cancel over the phone, via email, on their website, or by carrier pigeon if you happen to have one. I guess you'd be paying forever if you moved halfway across the country and hadn't canceled your membership. Seriously what is this - the stone age? Also, good luck with the TPC area if you visit around 5 or 6PM. They have classes with kids going on there that are basically let loose. They usually have some structured class and then are set free to do whatever they want. You'll see kids messing around with free weights, hex bars, and running around causing a dangerous environment. Up in the track area, they will be sprinting around and darting between the different lanes, and I almost witnessed people being knocked over several times by this. Lastly, the fitness coaching idea, while in principle sounds nice, is executed poorly. The coaches clearly have many more responsibilities on their plate than they can handle on top of the fitness coaching. It's impossible to reach them through the app leading you to have to email them, and you'll be lucky if you get a response. After switching coaches, the original coach still thought they were my coach - clearly there is zero communication at all within the team at this gym. Yes the gym is clean, yes the gym has good equipment and isn't too crowded, yes the clientele in general are very friendly, but that's about where it stops. There are clearly some management problems here. ORIGINAL REVIEW Extremely nice fitness center. Clientele are respectful, staff is beyond friendly, the gym is VERY clean, and there is more than enough equipment here whether you're doing rehab exercises, machines, powerlifting, or other S&C work. The elevated track is nice and so is the pool. Honestly, if you're considering a gym membership and can afford it (Carle is one of the priciest in the area), then choose Carle.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a good fitness center, the staff is friendly, plenty of machines, plenty of classes on the schedule, hot tub, therapy pool lap pool, etc. One thing I particularly like is they have staff to create workouts for you. They created 2 for me, one that I do at the gym, one that I do at home with equipment I already have here.

Experiencia negativa: After going through MCO rehab and the Carle Health & fitness "intro" program I used my credit card and signed up for ONE month. I was told it would cost around $60 total. (senior Citizen or Veteran discount). The employee couldn't give me a receipt. When working out I asked again at the desk and couldn't get one. I WAS BILLED ALMOST TWICE THAT - three total charges on 4/28 & 5/2. Contesting with Credit Card Company. Desk no help. Fraud or "untrained employee"? BEWARE if you use a card. Filing complaints.

Experiencia positiva: When I offer to share my time, I like to feel that I have made a difference. The time I spent as a volunteer at the Carle Bro-Med thrift shop was wasted and frustrating for me. All other volunteers on my assigned day seemed to enjoy what they were doing and did not encourage me to get involved: i.e. no one offered to train me on the cash register, and I felt like a "fifth wheel" when it came to customers who wanted to buy items.

Experiencia positiva: Clean, open, good equipment, has more than most gyms. More of a premium experience and you pay for it with a high enrollment/sign-up fee and membership cost.

It’s clean and the staff is so helpful and friendly, right down to the executive director who is not too busy and stopped and helped me with one of the exercise machines!

Experiencia fantástica: CHF offers more than many other fitness centers. It's well-equipped and professionally staffed. I have a customized program and regular follow-ups with my personal trainer. The equipment and locker rooms are kept spotlessly clean. And the sauna and steam room are nice perks! I am very happy I chose Carle Health & Fitness.

Experiencia fantástica: This facility is fabulous! Knowledgeable, friendly PT staff. They alao offer a reduced fee membership to the gym while you're doing therapy. I recently utilized there Dexa technology for a full body fat scan. I have never seen this priced lower than $89 and they were offering it at $25!! I signed myself, husband and mother, lol! It appears they may keep it at that price for a while so def call them if thats something you've considered doing, you dont have to be a patient there.

Experiencia negativa: Equipment and trainers are wonderful. Child care staff are not trained on appropriate ways to work with children. They constantly pull parents out for minor things and never have fun activities to keep them engaged. I could tell at drop off they were never excited to have my son there, which is sad because he's a loving boy. If you're a parent of a child that needs extra reminders you won't get any self care here.

Indoor track, 2 pools, steam, sauna, machines, free weights, classes and group, advanced training, simply awesome. Love how computer key has my workout, loads into all machines, then tracks performance.
