Experiencia fantástica: I first heard of this gym after the open house they hosted in January. I was intimidated at first of the idea of boxing, but after the first class, I no longer felt that way at all! Everyone is super nice and welcoming! All of the instructor are helpful and help to have a great work out. Even though I like the boxing aspect of class a lot, I feel like the 'Fighter Fit" classes are super great for a overall workout in general. I love that Blacksburg Boxing and Fitness a local family business who are very passionate about the community and wellness. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to find a good wellness community and feeling stronger. At 24, I feel like over the past few months this gym has helped me get back into the best shape I have been in since high school.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is amazing! All of the staff is so friendly and helpful. The classes are always so much fun and really make you sweat. The instructors are always there to motivate and help you in such a positive way! I am not in the best shape but I never feel bad or judged about modifying any of the exercises only ever encouraged to keep moving and push myself! All the members of the gym are also so supportive and friendly. Honestly the best atmosphere of any gym I’ve ever been to!

Experiencia fantástica: I'm new to the boxing scene but decided to try it out because some of my kids had joined and were big fans. You have nothing to lose since the first week is free and it gave me a great opportunity to find my feet and meet the team. Emily Taylor and Kevin Bowen are amazing instructors and have been so accommodating at helping me find workouts that fit my age and skill level. The smaller class sizes are a great way to learn as well as get to know others there at the gym. The skill levels vary so you can always find someone who knows more than you as well as others at your pace. I highly recommend you checking out BBNF!

I've been going here for over three years, and it's the first time in my life that I've worked out consistently for so long (plus I lost 30 lbs by boxing).

Whether you are new to gyms, just starting your health journey, recovering from injuries, or an expert and need a new gym this is for you. Every trainer, member, and even the owner Kevin are all so helpful and encouraging. I would 10/10 recommend all of the classes, especially Fighter Fit. A special shout-out to all the amazing trainers ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: This was one of my favorite places in Blacksburg! The people are friendly and the classes are both challenging and fun. Classes for all skill levels are available. I would personally recommend at least 3-5 classes of the Boxing 101 if you’ve never thrown a punch before, since most classes have you punching a bag/the air at some point. Regardless, if you just want a high intensity workout, the Fighter fit classes are the way to go. Boxing skills and drills classes are also available for people who want to get better at boxing. These three were the only types of classes I attended, but there are many more to choose from. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend that you try them out if you’re looking for a new gym or want to try an interesting new type of workout!

In addition to great workouts & help getting healthier.. they are caring, committed, passionate, creative, altruistic, family owned & oriented, knowledgeable. Experiencia fantástica: The Fighter-Fit class was a great workout! I was only in town for the week, but they were very hospitable. Nice facility, all kinds of boxing equipment, weightlifting area, and a ring. Shoutout to Jake Dennis for the instruction, it was fun!

Experiencia fantástica: This place is great. Great mix of people of all ages and fitness levels. Classes will get you in great shape, and they have a lot of different classes and different trainers. Very welcoming and price is very low for a boxing gym. Access to weightlifting and cardio equipment whenever the gym is open is a huge plus too.

Experiencia fantástica: One of my favorite parts of the town!! The staff are great and the gym is welcoming. The workout program never gets boring, and equipment necessary for boxing is there! So whether you're just starting or at an intermediate level, there is always a way to enhance your skills.

Experiencia fantástica: Figured I'd circle back around and update my original review to add some actual content (only 5 years later), but this is by far the best gym in the NRV. Kevin and his team are exceptional and do a fantastic job of making the environment welcoming and positive for people of all walks of life, ages, and skill levels. Whether you want to learn how to defend yourself, spar, or just get in shape, there is definitely something for everyone here.

Everyone was focused on their own workout so it was easy to focus on myself as well and do my own thing when I needed. Ill definitely be back.

Experiencia fantástica: I really love this gym. All employees are energetic and kind. Gym membership is affordable. Taking classes aren’t required but highly recommend. There’s classes for all skill levels and not all classes are necessarily boxing focused. The gym also has a wide variety of free weights where you can do your own workouts.

As a newcomer I felt welcome from the beginning and the owners ability to take out time to explain everything made me feel welcome. The energy in this space is amazing and I’ve see awesome results over the past 10 months from attending the Fighter Fit Classes at least twice a week. The trainers are also phenomenal!

This gym has definitely made Blacksburg feel a lot more like home.
