Experiencia positiva: I've been a member here for many years. There are a lot of different areas to lift in (read you don't have to see the same people all the time unless you want to). I take a lot of the group classes that come with the membership. I get a lot out of them. Great trainers. It is an older building but I think they are trying to up their game a little on cleaning and maintenance. But it is a gym, a good one for the price but you can't expect marble showers. Overall it is pretty well equipped. I go in the mornings and people are pretty friendly. The fact that it is open 24 hours on most days is nice. I like a gym that I enjoy going to and where people are friendly and respectful.

Experiencia positiva: Old place, cool front desk staff, most members aren't friendly though...Needs modernization. I will say they seem to be putting what money they do have int the right place(their equipment). Locker rooms definitely need some attention though.

Experiencia negativa: How hard is it to post an accurate class schedule? Beyond staff capability, I fear. I just want to know when I can access the functional fitness room and it’s frustrating that I never know whether there will be a class there since the location of classes appears to be based on a coin toss by the instructor. It doesn’t help that all the lighter kettlebells are in that room and inaccessible on a regular basis. If you need lighter weights or an open space good luck planning your workout around the gym’s whims.

Experiencia positiva: Somehow the best gym in the area. They close too early on weekends and the equipment looks very old. The price is higher than it should be but thankfully the place isn't too busy during peak hours because of it.

If you absolutley love putting other peoples weights away, or searching for where someone left a dumbbell, this is the place for you. They gave gotten rid of the pool, towels, daycare, and the bathrooms are disgusting 70% of the time.

Experiencia fantástica: My favorite gym in the area. It is said in the olden days, that all members were capable of world domination due to their pure physical supremacy and capability.

Experiencia negativa: Not sure why they are still charging the same after closing the pool, the daycare, taking away towels and bathrooms always look/ smell horrible. Not worth the money at all anymore. After 12 years is time for me to find another gym.

Experiencia fantástica: Court jester is my favorite gym in this area, I've tried out most of the other gyms but always end up back at court jester. I like that they have two locations for the price of one membership. They are consistent with upgrading equipment. For all the traffic that comes throughout the day they do a good job keeping the gym clean. Ive been a member for about 7 years and plan to stay a member.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately gave them a chance after they closed the pool. My card was stolen and proactively let them and gave them a new card. I was told it I will be given a 20 dollar fee given the original charged was declined on my stolen card bc it was cancelled same day. Manager was extremely rude and was more upset she had to get out of her chair to help a customer and refused to not charge a fee. Needless to say, I toured Lourdes right after and was blown away. For the extra 30-35 a month I would highly encourage you to leave for a far superior facility.

Experiencia positiva: Not the gym it used to be. Showers are older than most people that go there. Has some features that are nice and somewhat okay but reminds you of a locker room that is in dire need for an upgrade. And disappointingly now they don’t even offer towels to boot. Even worse, they now have closed down the pool for good.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a member for over 20 years. Working out before work has been my thing. Covid has interrupted that by closing the gyms for many months and then work has me working from home, so I can't hit the gym on the way to work any longer. Still, this gym has a good set of aerobic machines and weights. If you like to get in a swim, the pool is wonderful. Membership costs a bit more here, but this is a premier gym in this area. I do wish they would fix the broken showers, although I have always been able to find one that works. Having to bring my own towel since Covid is a pain only because I sometimes forget.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm reluctant to share too many details, because Court Jester AC has to be the best-kept secret in the area. Staff are kind, facilities are clean and amenities plentiful. Additionally, rates are extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Gym has gone down hill. The benches are broken, weights are all over the place, machines were dirty, very old equipment, $10 for a day pass is a total waste of money. Not to mention the ladies room was absolutely disgusting. Very disappointed.

Experiencia positiva: Best gym in the area. Although that doesn't say a lot. Often dust balls on the track and machines get replaced slowly. The new HIIT area is pretty cool, but took away more racquetball courts. Kind of lost the reason for it's name. When I started going here in the 90's I think they had 9 courts. Now they have one.

Experiencia negativa: Facility is in need of repair. Tiles falling off the shower stall walls for quite some time. Dry sauna splintered and broken nails sticking out of the wood. Black gunk in whirlpool filter box. Locker room stinks. Lockers dirty. Filthy place. I will never return.

Experiencia positiva: I like it. I have been swimming/working out there since the 1990's. I can't think of a better facility in the area that has a pool. And thank goodness those annoying Binghamton University students no longer come over the bridge to work out here.

Experiencia positiva: Can't think of anything else I would need from a gym. They offer day care which is amazing. Add in the sauna, hot tub, steam room, pool and then all the exercise equipment. Hands down the best gym in the area.

Experiencia positiva: As far as a gym goes they have lots of equipment, decent classes, a indoor pool saunas, hot tub, and, indoor track. I haven't seen any broken equipment since joining 2 months ago. Considering that's the main part of a gym I gave it 4 stars That being said, I wish they would clean the place better! The the wet sauna smells like straight mold and there's loose wires hanging from it. The dry sauna also smells musty. The hot tub isn't at the correct water level, and a lot of other things just kinda seem like they could use some attention or at least a scrub. The showers are especially sad, the soap dispensers are broken and do not work right, they also resemble the bat cave and have very poor lighting. The shower curtains are ancient and filthy and it doesn't look like anyone picks up the mats to clean underneath them. For 40$ a month I feel they could keep the place a lot cleaner. Also people don't wipe the machines down here really, which I feel would also be better if they set up more wipe down stations. The spray bottles are often empty. The machines have sweat stains and dusting collecting on them in some places, the walls are also covered in stains.

Experiencia positiva: CJ west has a bit of a rundown feel to the building but the equipment is starting to be updated and new HIIT center looks amazing! The pool is decent for lap swim but if more than 3 folks want to swim it gets crowded easily. The free weights have a very large selection to meet every need.

Experiencia fantástica: Court Jester is a prestigious gym for people who want to enjoy their time at a workout center. The couple things I enjoy the most is playing racket ball and relaxing in the sauna. I recommend this place to those that don't go to the gym to often; that just want to enjoy their time at a gym a couple times a week. One improvement they can make though is a better ventilation system in the locker rooms (especially near the hot tub). Otherwise, this is a great gym.

All the classes are included in the membership fee and there's a wide variety of classes to take plus a great weight room with multiples or each weight of dumbbells and many free weights machines and a circuit tearing room with cable pull machines on 33 machines in the circuit tearing room. They also have a great steam room and hot tub plus a large swimming pool with a schedule for family adult and lap swimming.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been to many gyms in Broome county NY and I have found that you get what you pay for. I saved a few bucks at other places and could see why. Court Jester has always been worth the money. I always ended up back here and I see why. I definitely will not use another gym. CJ is by far the best! I love this place, the friendly clean environment the awesome staff and the cardio classes are incredible!

Experiencia negativa: I am a 66-year-old woman trying to stay strong and healthy, so I joined the Court Jester because it was close to where I work. After being there a year, I have decided not to renew my membership. My activities at the gym included attending 2 weight classes a week, aerobics, circuit training, and free weights. The only time that I had access to a good selection of weights under 20 pounds was when I participated in the classes. These weights were kept locked up when there was no class in session. If I wanted to do free weights outside of the class, there was a very limited selection of light weights in the weight room, and sometimes there were none because people had taken them out of the weight room. After discussing this with the manager, there was no attempt to resolve the situation. To top it off, the instructor was usually 10 to 15 minutes late for each class, making the class that much shorter. The aerobics room had plenty of equipment with many TVs set up. But, you better bring along your own entertainment diversion unless you enjoy watching Fox news, which I didn't!

Experiencia positiva: This place bills itself as the "premier" health club in the area. The place is due for an update but it still holds strong over everyone else. You got a lot of signed authentic olympic and team apparel all over the walls. If you are looking for a place that has everything (various fitness classes, trainers, pool, racquetball, TVs on exercise machines, Etc. Etc.) Then this club delivers. Their Indoor track is rubberized but old. Circuit Machines are well maintained and plenty of weights and hammer strength type machines as well. Decent selection of updated stair climbers, steppers, and ellipticals. Only one rowing machine to my knowledge. Locker rooms on the Men's Side are pretty clean. Steam rooms have a 85-90% operational rate. It is generally clean, but sit on a towel + use flip flops.. Sauna always seems to be working... there's a whirlpool, i dont care how clean it is, I'm not stepping into that hot man soup... But its there if you need it. Never used the pool personally. At peak times (normal gym peaks) the free weight area can get a little crowded but REAL men never let that stop them. WEIGHT LIFT WITH YOUR ARM OUT THE WINDOW IF YOU HAVE TO, FULL PUMP BRAH! No lack of eye-candy or egotistical meat-heads such as myself ;) Sometimes a fitness class will high-jack the track... LOOK OUT, they stampede on to the indoor running path like a heard of snarling water buffalo with a screaming hyena behind them motivating them onward. Its awkward, its jarring, and if your not careful you may find yourself trampled into a pile on the floor and Simba crying off on a rock ledge somewhere. Water fountains seem safe to drink from, not too much alien-brain calcification around the spigot. They give ya complimentary towels at the door which i find to be straight gravy. They are not yours to keep. If you just need a simple place to pump iron or hit one faze of your training then this place may be a bit too comprehensive in its offerings for you. If you're looking for a place to get it all done and take copious amounts of showers on their dime (YOU PAID FOR IT, TURN IT UP TO 11) this is the place for you. This is like a YMCA with a little less stank.
