Experiencia fantástica: Hey Benton athletes! If you haven’t checked out my gym, Pulse in Benton, it is worth giving them a shot. I’ve been going here for several years and the owners/team have recently kicked the improvements in high gear. It’s a good crew and the other gym rats are very respectful and helpful…especially Mike. Anyway, Pulse in Benton is a great gym and its not purple. It is more….well, a work in progress).

Experiencia fantástica: This is a great gym. It has equipment for everyone. I work the punching bag and train for endurance. This is something most gyms dont offer or allow. This gym makes an effort to supply equipment and training for everyone. So if you looking for a place to workout without drama, I recommend this place.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this family owned place! The owners and employees really care about the comfort of their customers and providing the best for them. When machines go down, they get fixed quickly. The space is always clean. When I joined, they asked if I thought they were lacking anything for future upgrades. It’s been great being here!

Experiencia fantástica: I love Pulse! You can access it anytime with your key card, and I appreciate how clean it is! A bonus is that you can use the sauna anytime, not just during staffed hours.

Experiencia negativa: It’s a okay gym. Pretty clean and comfortable. I used to enjoy it way more. But the Sauna has not worked for 6 months and they still have a sauna advertised on their website. Only the one in the women’s works and most of the gym goers here are men and it just feels off to me that it’s on the google page it says that they have a sauna and in fact do not have a sauna.

Experiencia negativa: First off, I need to state, when signing up for this gym, it was a dream of an experience. They bent over backwards to help me. They cleared up the air quality, they removed any and all oppressive air fresheners for me and my wife. They even stopped using their cleaning products that were causing us issues. However, recently, each of the previous listed changes have been reversed. Whenever I go to work out, the air is so full of air fresheners and "smell goods" it's difficult to breathe. If it's hard for me to breathe, I"m not going to try and work out. When expressing this issue, I was told if I canceled out, or stopped coming, I'd be held to the fullest extent of my contract. That's fair, I signed a contract, however, no move was made to try and keep me to renew my contract, no talk of removing the air fresheners, nothing about the air quality. Nothing. In closing, know that they care about keeping your contract so they can stay open, they don't care if you actually show up. This was a wonderful, little gym. It had everything I wanted, it had a nice atmosphere, I enjoyed the patrons as well as the staff. The only problem I have, again, is that there is so much air freshener, I cannot breathe well enough to work out.

Experiencia fantástica: Great atmosphere, staff, and equipment! I came in with a guest pass and loved the experience. There wasn’t many people and there is a vast amount of space even if there is a few. I’m very pleased with my experience! Stephanie was great and got me all signed up and started!

Experiencia positiva: Nice and chill to work out at. They also incentivize you to work out and ends up being cheaper than the nearby planet fitness the more often you come. Also has massage chairs and sunbathing which may or may not be occupied depending on what time you arrive.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this gym! Love the fact that it has plenty of workout equipment , it has a sauna so that’s a plus ( I use it every time I visit ). I love the massage chair in this little private room that you can use, this is also one of my fave. I def recommend this gym. Also if you go to gym 12 times in one month, membership drop down to $5 a month.

Experiencia fantástica: I love that Benton has a 24 hour gym that you can work out at any time it works great with my busy schedule! The bulbs in the tanning bed seem to always be on the newer side! I have yet to go in a bed with bulbs burnt out.

Experiencia negativa: Don't go here. The equipment is in terrible shape, their card reader doesn't work most of the time, they refuse to explain your contract, and try to trap you in a year long contract while trying to use scare tactics. They won't even notify patrons of billing increases and good luck getting any help on the phone.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff are friendly and supportive. I can come in seven days a week at any hour If I have concern staff are ready and willing to address my concern. The most important thing to me is the friendliness and quick responses to my questions and concerns.

Experiencia fantástica: So far, we are loving this place. It's never over-crowded, the other patrons seem to be really friendly. Everything is clean, the bathrooms are nice. The machine space, cardio space, and body building space are all kind of separate (pardon my phrasing) so you don't feel intimidated. I needed a local gym that does not use bleach (allergy) and this is the ONLY one in town that could guarantee it. It's a pleasant little place to actually work out, that happens to have a couple of small extras. (sauna, tanning, massage chair) And if you can understand how contracts and billing works for internet or cell phone, then you won't have a problem here in that area. I'm excited to keep going!

Experiencia negativa: The sinister robocalls are a huge violation.. You are not legally required to provide them with auto-pay. Don't let them try to make you think otherwise. I asked a few lawyers about this. Gyms also cannot require you to violate your HIPPA rights to pause or cancel your membership though Pulse likes to think it can. Their card reader doesn't work half the time, they never answer phones, they'll lock you out randomly despite being paid up, to cancel they require invasion of your medical records as if they're you're employer or you're a child in school. They also like to have their employees leave fake positive reviews to up their score and they don't honor their discount system. Much of their equipment is also in terrible shape or broken and they don't have a pool.

Experiencia fantástica: I just wanted to say how nice they are in the place as I needed to have my payment date extended and they worked with me to fix that so I wouldn’t occur any late fees. I have also noticed that all the equipment seems to be newer. I love that they are open 24 hours.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE! The hoops you have to jump through to cancel your membership are ridiculous. They even tell you that you have to pay an extra month before canceling your membership. It's insane.

Experiencia negativa: Kicked my son out on new years. Him and 2 friends all 3 had memberships. When they walked through the front doors the lady told them they couldn't be there bc she didn't feel like dealing with them. Pulse fitness now has 3 less memberships.

Experiencia negativa: I hardly ever leave reviews but please take your money elsewhere. The management here is terrible. Charged my account $70+ in less than 2 weeks, was told it was an accidental charge and a refund would be issued. I called back because it had been a couple weeks and no refund issued, was told to not expect it to come. I was very unhappy with this and had to jump through many hoops to cancel my membership.

Experiencia positiva: Management obviously has no pride in this gym. There are many holes in the drywall that have been there for OVER A YEAR. Plenty of signs instructing people to rack their weights however, the squat rack and bench racks have several broken pins. Several weight benches are torn/falling apart. Broken cables take over a week to get fixed. Shower curtains are gross. Pro: 24/7 hrs. Low monthly price if you go 12x/mo. ***Update 2 months later*** Upgrade to 4 stars: Paneling placed around lower wall to protect drywall. Looks good. Squat rack and bench press pins fixed. Shower curtain liners replaced. Cable crossover cable Finally fixed. Thank you!

Experiencia negativa: Equipment is falling apart 1 year membership (no cancellations) and they use a second party billing system. It takes quite a bit of effort to get your membership cancelled. Two stars because at least they have a sauna and clean bathrooms.

Experiencia negativa: This gym stole money from me for 15 months after I canceled my membership. The place was dirty and no one was cleaning during the COVID epidemic. I notified them that I would be canceling. They put my membership on hold for 3 months and then resumed charging me. They cannot be trusted.

Gym is nasty with trash laying all over , weights left on all machines Clean equipment after use but where is all the cleaning supplies to do so Was much better before the move. Signs all over the walls but obviously the current high school employees don’t care about the work place , go figure with this generation. Go elsewhere if you want a cleaner more enticing workout environment. If you can put weights on machines then take em off .. y’all need to google gym etiquette..!!

Experiencia negativa: If you sign up for this gym on the monthly plan they advertise, you sign up for a contract that absolutely no one explains to you. It is impossible to cancel the contract for at least a year, regardless of whether you are happy with the club or not, and even if you request a cancel at the end of the year they continue to charge you for the next service month anyway. I only joined this gym because they offered a sauna. Within a week of joining one of the benches of the women's sauna was broken, and the sauna was routinely covered in baby oil. The patron who sprayed themselves down with baby oil in the sauna literally left the Johnson and Johnson's baby oil sticker in the sauna. I repeatedly informed the front desk of this, showing the guy the pictures of baby oil dripping down the door. I submitted a complaint through their website, after which the bench was finally fixed but baby oil continued to be present. I quit going because I can work out without a sauna at home, and tried to cancel my contract, which is when I found out what a scam their financial processor is. Save yourself some grief, don't bother signing up. Choose a different facility.

Experiencia negativa: The gym itself is very nice and clean, nice staff. However, I've had a lot of money taken out of my account and have talked to the staff about it several times and nothing has been done. I have had over $160 taken out of my account, I got the $5 membership and have made sure i make the requirement for it. Respectful staff but i'd like my money to be in my account after talking to someone over 4 times now.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve canceled my membership multiple times with the mainline they give because you can’t cancel in gym, and it still keeps charging my account. I began the process when they told me due to the fact they started the $5 membership, my $22 a month no longer covered bringing a guest and any changes made had to go to the number (not listed on website) they provide. I dropped it to the $5 and was still charged for my other membership, so I called the next month and canceled- that was a few months ago. I’m still getting charged and it’s SUPER frustrating when it was supposed to have been canceled.

Experiencia negativa: They misrepresented their contract and auto renewed without notifying me of the change in their terms of service. I tried to get them to contact me, and they only called using their staff and not the owners themselves. Finally, they could have admitted mistake and waived contract fee but instead are losing a member plus my friends. We will be going to 10 Fitness or Planet Fitness.

Experiencia fantástica: My son, who is still in high school signed a contract with Pulse Fitness in Bryant shortly after his 18th birthday. The membership fees became too much for him and unfortunately, overdrew his bank account. When he finally came to me with this problem, I called and spoke to Barbara. I was told he owed over 160.00. This was mostly late fees and other related membership fees. Barbara was very understanding that even though he is a legal adult, he is still a high school student that didn't fully understand the implications of signing a contract. Also, he honestly just couldn't afford this. I assumed I would just have to pay off the contact and/or cancellation fees. She was kind enough to eliminate those late fees and just let me pay for the months he owed. This was my son's mistake, so I really appreciate her working with me to clear this up. As far as the quality of the gym, he was very happy with his membership and enjoyed his time there!

Experiencia positiva: They need to invest in bigger dumbbells. I have to bring in duct tape an tape plates on the 100lbs just to be able to lift what I need to. If they would invest in bigger dumbbells then it would not be bad place to lift all. Going to wait it out an see if they do what they say they are. If not I’ll be looking for a different gym. Other then the lack of dumbbells not a bad gym.

Experiencia positiva: Its a great gym if you are serious about fitness. If you are one of those people that like to socialize at the gym and sit around on machines and text then Pulse is not the gym for you. There is just enough space to get your lifting done and get out 24/7. They have great equipment and incorporated the "hammer strength type machines" with there recent upgrade. They also have classes for the ladies, supervised childcare, nicer tanning beds, and hydro massage chairs. Only thing I don't like is that the rate is 21$ flat, no options. Pretty sure the classes cost extra tho. But i don't use a tanning bed much, don't have a kid. I wish they would lower their price for the dudes that just want to bang the weights.

Experiencia fantástica: I love my gym. I have been a member for over a year. The staff is friendly, the fee is very affordable, and the equipment is up-to-date. They offer classes as a part of your membership. If you get the $20 package, you can bring a friend for free during staffing hours, and you will have access to unlimited tanning. The have a great smoothie bar, too. I'm very happy.

Experiencia negativa: This mainly is a facility for women's exercise classes. Padding on benches is cracked open. Great thing is not crowed in weight area. Just lacks a positive atmosphere to workout; will not renew membership.
