The staff greets you with a smile and welcomes you with “hello”. Honestly, I’m glad to be member at this gym and I’m looking forward to reaching my expected goals.

Experiencia fantástica: Love my gym and gym family! They always greet me and tell me goodbye. It is the little things for me. They have all the equipment and machines I need to do workouts that I was taught to use by staff members either through their personal training program, which I used for a year, or by individual staff when I ask. They are always willing to help and answer my questions and make me feel comfortable and not stupid for asking questions. They are truly there to help their clients.

Experiencia fantástica: For starters, I have gone to this location on and off since 2020, and well 2024 is the first year I started showing up consistently. I had extreme gym anxiety and wasn’t very comfortable with the staff in the past years. Jess, the gym manager has completely made this an environment that I want to be in. She is a wonderful woman who genuinely cares about her clients, she will greet you AND will say a warm goodnight every-time single time. Makes you feel like you are seen. Her staff genuinely reflects that because they almost always do the same. Of course, I can’t forget about Mel. We worked together for about six months, she’s knowledgeable and very personal-able. She offered nothing but unconditional positive regard during our sessions and helped me face my gym fears! Lastly Chloe, she is as sweet as can be. I have not worked with her personally but she makes sure to greet me, check in with me, and follow up about any inquiries I have! Not only is the staff great but in MY experience the gym goers, are respectful and kind. Comments about the actual gym: the gym is clean, always fully stocked with cleaner and towels, and multiple paper towel dispensers around the gym! A variety of consistent classes that you can join in the morning or evening. Lastly, equipment that is available to you at any time. This was important to me because I didn’t want to spend loads of money on equipment and not know what to do with it, so I just used the gym equipment and as time has progressed been able to buy my own!

Experiencia fantástica: Top 3 Gyms i’ve been at in my 22 years of being alive. The All Club Access is super clutch when I travel around NC. The management is super friendly and they always check and see how my workouts are going. Its close, affordable, and overall a great gym to reach your goals at. Ill always be staying fit for life at FIT4LIFE!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: Gym is fine most of the time. Runs out of towels and cleaner pretty often. Biggest issue is the contract. Make sure you let them know 60 days before the end of your 1 year contract, otherwise you will be on the hook for at least 2 more months of unexpected payments.

Experiencia positiva: Wanted to share feedback for people who join Fit4Life and sign up for the free Functional Movement Assessment. The way it was presented to us upon signing up was a way to "look at how you move and learn some exercises to help you balance out your movement." You then receive text messages about preparing for a "fun workout" and a video with how to prepare for the session. In reality, you are asked about your overall health, goals, and get weighed/BP/fat composition/measurements, a 20 minute pitch for personal training, 15 minute assessment, and about 15 minutes of a workout. I wish the appointment was presented as what it was: a way to educate people about the type of personal training Fit4Life offers. It would be good for people who join with a desire to track their weight, fat content, and measurements. In my opinion, it is not good for people who feel satisfied with the routine they have/know how to create a gym routine, people who prefer a more intuitive goal orientation (as this approach focuses on numbers as the metric for progress), or those who hope to have a fuller understanding of their movement at the end of the session. While I feel the person who I worked with had good intentions, there were multiple times throughout the assessment that I did not feel heard. I also was under the impression that the workout would be aligned with the health assessment- tailored to address misalignments or imbalances. If mine did, I don't know, because there wasn't any discussion about why the exercises were chosen or what they were targeting. The approach seems very one-size-fits-all to me, which is not in line with how I feel a workout routine or health assessment ought to be. The gym itself is clean, well staffed, and the equipment works. I am looking forward to implementing a few of the locations into my wellness routine, but also wanted to share feedback on the free session so people get a more accurate picture of the nature of the appointment than was presented to me.

Experiencia negativa: This place is a scam! Daughter came home after paying nearly $200 for a membership was told there would be more fees upon signing. In order to cancel you have to make 2 months of payments regardless of if you used the facilities or not (which is garbage). Not thinking much of it, I go to the gym with her to see if it’s worth it. We went there on Thursday and they had 2 kids at the desk struggling to keep up with the customers ASKING FOR REfUNDS, go figure. Didn’t see the whole gym but from what I saw this is a small, overcrowded, and overpriced one. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Payment options, clean facility, nice folks! Go talk to them in Benson, there is absolutely no pressure from anyone. They only want the best for you!

I was told I would get someone but haven't heard from anyone yet. So I decided to a fit4life elsewhere. Hopefully I won't go through that again.

The staff here never pick up the phone. It's nice that it's 24 hour access But if you have little ones I would definitely say to go to Cleveland or Clayton

A lot of new equipment has been added and upgrades to the facility have been made. I would 10 out of 10 recommend this gym and also a personal trainer if your interested. Ennis, Harrison, and Claire have been extremely helpful on my fitness journey. If you want to go somewhere where they treat you like family look no further!

I decided to sign up and it’s been a great decision, I’ve made a lot of progress in the past 5 months! The facility is always clean, the staff is always friendly, I’m always greeted with a smile and a “hi!” when I walk in, and overall I’m extremely pleased with my experience, I can’t wait to continue my journey at F4L McGee’s!

Experiencia negativa: STAY AWAY FROM THIS GYM. They are very unprofessional and do not care about their members! The gym double charged my account for the initial registration fee for a total of $138. When I told them what they did, the “general manger” of the McGee location told me that they did not charge my account. Insinuating that I am lying. Even after I’ve showed them the fees taken from my account. I’ve had to spend a full week with an overdrafted bank account because of this situation. I could not buy gas, groceries and I am late on several bills because of this ordeal. There were many possible solutions they could have done to fix the situation like waiving the $69 fee in total, offering a $69 gift card, or even apologize for the situation and take the ordeal more serious. Instead they wanted to charge me a 3rd time this coming Friday for another $69. Even while I’m still waiting for the initial $138 to get back to my account. They are VERY unprofessional. Throughout the whole ordeal the “general manager” nor the employee that double charged my account never apologized or offered me anything in return for this situation other then some free fit4life t-shirts which would further endorse a brand that screwed me and some free training sessions. Such a joke of a gym.

Experiencia negativa: I had such poor service after we told them our account got charge twice made us out to be liars like they never took our money and we had proof that they took the money we called all week they kept on bouncing us around speaking to staff that wasn’t a manager to the point we got fed up and drove to the gym and spoke to the so-called manager and she totally brushes us off and said I feel like it’s right to just cancel the whole thing and didn’t let us really tell our side of the story I just felt very unwelcome. DON’T GO THERE!!

I left the gym originally about a year ago due to bad experience with the management staff at that time. I enjoy it alot more now. It is so clean and the bathrooms are extremely clean. The new staff, including management, have always answered professionally and respectfully. The environment is more relaxing and the classes are awesome.

Experiencia negativa: First let me say, I meant to submit this review months ago, but as I look over the 5 star reviews I noticed that some are actually from staff, trainers or former trainers, so that’s bogus! But as everyone else stated PLEASE read before you sign and ask questions. I read the fine print, but it should be mentioned again when you decide against renewing. As many of the other reviews state the cancellation of your contact is a headache and may end up costing you more money. You either have to buy out your contract, stay on after it ends as a month to month or just suck it up and deal with a 60 day cancellation, which basically says we’re still going to charge you an additional two months after you’ve cancelled! Either way get ready to pay! I’m not sure why you feel the need to charge someone for two months after their contract has ended. So you’re still getting paid and we’re finish!?!? Also I’m not sure what’s going on with the communication but as another person stated they’re not on the same page.

Experiencia negativa: I was a member of this gym for eight months. The coach service did not work because the coach was never available at the time I could do my training. I had to be behind the coach asked when he could give me the service. On one occasion I went to cancel my personal trainer service the manager Mr. Benjamin told me not to do it that he would help me carry my training. Benjamin never called me. On March 18, 2019, I went back to try to cancel the service and talk to a new manager by the name of Rick. I explained the situation of wanting to cancel the personal trainer service. I paid $ 168 per month for a service I was not using. For the same situation that they could never help me during my available hours. The gentleman treated me with a very bad attitude all the time since I arrived, he even spoke to me very disrespectfully. I never gave myself a personal trainer cancellation option and told him to cancel everything including my membership which I kept for 8 months. It is sad to see how there are people with so little preparation in orientation and customer service. Not only should you exercise your body you should also exercise your mind with knowledge for good customer service.
