Experiencia negativa: While visiting home for Christmas this year, we drove by Eagles on our way to dinner. I was reminded of my time there when I was young, including one instance in particular. I had a 30 minute private on bars with the gym’s owner. I performed repeat bar routines throughout the duration of the lesson while she stood there chatting away on her phone’s head set, providing zero feedback, never uttering or acknowledging I was even there. I remember being very uncomfortable, wondering if she would ever critique my routine, and she never did. When it was over my mom wrote her a hefty check and we left. As a young, 10-11 year old kid, I didn’t have the courage to tell my parents or the ability to really interpret what exactly had transpired, or lack thereof. Now, looking back as a 28 year-old adult, I think it’s appropriate to make others aware of exactly what they’re dealing with at the center of Eagles, and that’s a narcissistic, self centered, dishonest gym owner. Lesson to learn, people remember years later how you’ve treated them, even kids.

Experiencia fantástica: We recently enrolled our daughter at Eagles Gymnastics and after just two tryouts, we have been absolutely blown away with how much better they are than where she used to train! Staff and coaches alike coach the kiddos and it’s clear they all have a great relationship with the kids & their families. The coaches are wonderful! As gymnasts themselves, they teach actual gymnastics verbiage; teach various techniques by doing it themselves; and because of the 10:1 ratio, coaches are very attentive to each student & are not reserved in spotting their students. Most important to us was that they were honest about our daughter’s level of ability rather than just allowing her to enroll in a class she’s not ready for, despite her previous gymnastics experience. Eagles Gymnastics raises the bar & are really looking forward to a long future with them and their wonderful coaches!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent place to learn gymnastics at all levels. We have been there on and off for about 15 years and have had lots of great things happen there. The classes were fun and challenging. The coaches were professional and caring. The competitive team is definitely one of the best in town! They do a great job of integrating hard work with positive reinforcements and fun! You will not regret giving this wonderful place a try!

Experiencia negativa: If you have a child that didn't start here as a toddler and doesn't know the basics it will be difficult for them to succeed. If you can't do a cartwheel when you walk in the door, this is not the place to learn. The lowest class for beginners was too advanced for my daughter and she struggled for months before becoming completely frustrated and giving up. I sought out help and they told me maybe gymnastics wasn't for her. Very disappointed.

Experiencia positiva: The only reason I’m allowing my daughter to continue to go is because she likes it. I purchased a Groupon in February for her to go every Tuesday. I was told if I wanted her to continue to go in March I would have to pay $74 for the month and a $45 enrollment fee. I went in to pay yesterday and that’s when they told me I would have to pay those fees and the $74 payment for the month of April would be pulled March 15th. No one ever told me they bill a month in advance. In that case shouldn’t my groupon been the March payment. I also found out yesterday that you have to sign up for auto pay in order to pay $74 instead of $94 which no one ever told me. Seems like scamming and miscommunication. I will allow my daughter to go for now but in the meantime I will look for another gym.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible was there for a year and a half didn’t learn a thing in level 3 supposedly still doing cartwheels they put level 1,2,3 together did the same stuff everyday like forward what’s going on pay money for stuff you can do at home I Could get some gymnastics material and ask my brother to spot me and then maybe it won’t be a waste of money don’t exspect to progress unless ur just really bad then you might be able to do a bad cartwheel

Very helpful front desk that makes scheduling flexible for classes. Class levels range from toddlers to teenagers, giving every child the opportunity to join.

From recreational gymnastics to Excel and now on the USAG team - the coaching has been great every step of the way. They teach the girls a strong work ethic that carries over into all areas of life, but also focus on fostering great team relations and keeping gymnastics fun. I can't imagine my daughter wanting to be anywhere else!

This is a great place to enroll your kids in classes, they have fun and learn so much about gymnastics. I now coach recreational classes and all of Eagles staff members are very friendly and are always willing to explain anything a parent has questions about! Eagles has so much experience in the past 30 years and is a great place to do gymnastics!!

Everyone from the office staff to the coaches are always friendly and helpful. The level of coaching far exceeds what we had experienced at our previous gym. The coaches clearly love what they do. Not only do they train the girls with proper technique and conditioning, they are teaching them so many other life skills that will carry beyond gymnastics.

Experiencia negativa: Eagles suffers from numerous issues. Upon arrival, the stench of must and rarely cleaned equipment overwhelms you. Immediately after every practice, my child would have to shower in hot water to avoid contracting some weird rash. There is a hostile, unfriendly atmosphere. Also, management is inconsistent, failing to follow through on other processes effectively. For example, the staff failed to register my child for a competition. My husband took a day off from work to accompany our daughter to a meet during a school day. When he got there, he was told that my daughter was not registered. Meet personnel offered to register our daughter on site per approval from the Eagles owner. We later found out that the owner refused, citing that our account was not current. Our account was paid in full and had been on auto-pay for months. My daughter was unable to compete in the meet. Staffs also are unclear on how to group girls by their talent. The gym has varied coaching ranging from good to mediocre. One coach forgot a child during competition. Another coach consistently displayed tremendous bias towards certain groups of girls, counter to the basic principles of coaching of equity, fairness, and sportsmanship. When we brought this attention to the owner, there was immediate denial and defensiveness, even going as far to deflect the issue to moms who "can be catty." Finally, the price is slightly high for the overall value. Eagles has several committed coaches and many eager students. However, given the level of commitment that gymnastics requires, kids deserve much, much better than what this facility offers.
