Experiencia fantástica: I really like this place. The staff has always been friendly. It’s a beautiful facility and they do a great job maintaining it. It’s my weekend treat to myself. Get a good workout in, maybe go for a swim or hit the sauna and relax. I’ve taken a few group classes and they never fail to get the heart pumping.

Experiencia negativa: Very nice facility but badly managed ! Men's sauna is out of order for 6 weeks now. When I complained a staff member said they are punishing the bad people ! so they are punishing the good members as well. Management, please advice if this is your goals. It is a well know brand sauna ! It is now 3 weeks later and the sauna is still out of order ! Please review this facility on the sauna that they advertise on their web site !

Experiencia fantástica: Super relaxed and has enough equipment to do whatever you are trying to work on, decent class schedule too if you are looking for a group!

Experiencia fantástica: I myself am a little bit younger then 16 so to use the machines I need my Guardian with me but if I do a class I get an orange lanyard that lets me be away from them. I honestly love this place! There is a GREAT pool, nice track, great machines for workouts! There is a playroom called the yard there too. The yard has a bunch of things that you can turn into and obby! You can rent it for free for an hour! There are even rooms just for badminton and racket ball, a basketball court, a nice lounge and if you want to workout you can put your child into a nice playroom!

Experiencia positiva: Nice facility and so many things to do for classes,pool and day care for the kids. However, a bit crowded most of the time and the family locker rooms are filthy and the youth that come through could use better language.

Experiencia negativa: It is unfortunate that they let people volunteer as coaches who are bullies and have a rap sheet for the past 10 years! Not much of a role model to kids when you can get away with swearing at a child bringing him to tears then lie about it! Anyone who has a stalking charge or order of protection against should not be allowed to coach children!!!

Experiencia negativa: Basketball coach swearing at a child and making them cry telling them to leave a game and Kobe the sports director was told of this immediately after while the game was still going on and all he said was he would make sure that coach doesn’t coach in the future. He should’ve been pulling that coach right then and there! It’s a shame our kids can’t even enjoy something with out being bullied by adults! And it’s a shame no actions are taken. I will not put my son in anything through the Y going forward.

Experiencia positiva: It’s a beautiful gym, however, I don’t think there are enough weight machines and i really don’t like how they close at 3pm on weekends.

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic location with plenty of parking around the building and across the street. Friendly staff. New facilities. Huge track that gives the walk/runner various views around the buildings interior and exterior many other gyms don't have. Very well thought out facilities plan. Great place for the kiddos. Fantastic shower change area and private showers/ toilet. Theme park style water slide and play areas. Lap pools and hot tub/sauna for the adults. Huge juice bar. Teen gaming area. Have your tots watched by a fully trained staff while you work out. Plus basketball courts etc and tons of fitness classes. Plus it's well maintained and clean. Did I mention how clean it is? Where are the negative stitches of this gym? I can't find any yet!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Love this place. I go during the day when kids are in school. After school let's out, this place can get really crowded to the point that there's a wait for some of the equipment. During first shift hours, I rarely have to wait for a machine and if so, it's only one. I especially love the drop-in childcare. It is literally the most important feature offered and is the whole reason I am even able to be a gym rat. I purchase personal training packages and work with a personal trainer. I really love that this is offered as an option because I'm afraid to injure myself by working out alone. I was working with Christian K for a long time, but he's recently taken another job closer to home. I was sad to see him go as he was a really great trainer who was very careful to listen closely to my needs. I had a few injuries to work around and he really brought his A game each training session. I felt safe performing the strength exercises he had me do each day. I felt safe in his care and knew I wouldn't leave with another injury. And with a bachelors degree in some sort of physical sciences area, he was always able to explain a lot of the science behind the exercises he was having me do and what were safer alternatives to ones I couldn't do... Now that he's left, I've signed up to train with Tia. So far, her energy has been great. Her presence alone is motivating. She seems excited to be there doing her job. I'm excited to see where my health journey can go with someone like Tia on my team. For my kids- they love everything that is offered. They love swimming and the kids lounge area, "hangout room" or whatever it's called. My son frequently signs up for the different sports offerings. I feel like the time frames are nice because they don't require a significantly long commitment. Our family travels a lot so it was nice for my son to be on a basketball team, and it was nice for us because the timeframe didn't interrupt our travels. It works out beautifully. He had signed up for karate but discovered it wasn't for him. Benny G is a great instructor though, so if your kid is into martial arts, you'll like him. Good guy. There's a really cool indoor playground upstairs but Covid kinda wrecked that one for the kids. Hopefully one day it will be filled with kids laughing and playing again. Probably signing up for swim classes this year.

Experiencia positiva: Normally terrific. But none of the family elements were open. Lack of lifeguards but nobody was in the lap pool and a life guard was watching about empty pool. I think they should have closed the lap pool and at least opened the slide. There were literally 30 kids with nothing much to do.

Experiencia positiva: This is a great place for kids! My 8 year old loves the hangout area, the pool, her extracurricular classes (dance, swimming lessons, gymnastics) and can walk the track with me to get a little exercise; however, on the flip side, until she is 10, she is limited on what she can use in the facility and the timeframe she can use the track and pool. Overall, it is still far more accommodating for kids then a regular gym. That being said, for an adult over 30, it also has its limitations. I love their walking track, but the pool and class offerings are comparable to other area gyms. Their weights area is tightly packed if you are trying to get any weights in after 4pm. Im not a big fan of a** to elbows when trying to lift anything, especially around groups of teen boys. My current gym has a women's only area and separate workout rooms if you wanna be alone….I absolutely love it. Plenty of space and privacy. I wish the YMCA could incorporate that as well, but that would also require space I don't think they have. They are an amazing place for kids, and the staff is friendly and inviting, so I will continue to go there, but I will have to find another alternative to weight training if I am going to drop my other gym membership for the YMCA.

Experiencia positiva: It's a cozy, local YMCA. There's nice workout equipment, a running track, a swimming pool area, basketball court, a couple lounge areas and a bunch of activities to do. It wasn't one of those really big Y's that you go to. But it does have alot of your basic stuff and mostly newer equipment.

Experiencia positiva: Frequent out of order signs on equipment. They can't seem to keep the sauna running. I'm a little concerned about their management style. If they could do better in these areas I would give them 5 stars. It's a clean and organized facility with friendly staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Casey the pt was awesome with helping me do strengthening and water exercising! I dont currently have a membership but I'm grateful for the option to use the pool for theropy. Water is nice and warm!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My family has been with the Beloit YMCA for a few years now, and my favorite aspect has been the classes for my kids. My 14-year-old loved the volleyball clinic that she attended in spring 2021 (I am hopeful for more), my 10 & 8-year-olds are having a great time in gymnastics, and my 7-year-old has been thriving in the karate class taught by Master Ben. I use the well-maintained Life Fitness machines a couple of times a week and enjoy getting an entire upper or lower body workout in about an hour while the kids have fun in the hang-out room. It would be great if the aquatics department would offer more family swim times.

Experiencia negativa: We have three members. We tried to get in but they would not allow us. We just had one guest and we came all this way for nothing. The girl at the front couldn’t just let our one guest in? I will never come back to this place

Experiencia negativa: Price is fair but incurred a scheduling problem where a week ahead of time I reserved a lane in the pool for swimming laps at 5am. I showed up the day of my confirmed reservation, swam for 15 minutes, and was pulled out of the pool by the lifeguard who said I wasn't on her reservation list. I retrieved my cell phone and showed her the confirmation email. She just kept repeating, "You're not on my list," and go to the front desk. I went to the front desk and saw that I did reserve a lane but an hour and fifteen minutes later a staff person at the front desk cancelled it for some reason. Weeks earlier myself and the other 5am early swimmers showed up only to learn there was a power outage during the night and the pool pumps weren't operating. We were told the pool should be okay later on in the morning so we all had to go home. There doesn't appear to be a process in place to notify members if pool reservations are cancelled or if a situation arises causing cancellation.

Experiencia positiva: I have tried using the exercise machines but they are always full when I go...the pool is great but there is an issue I ran across every time I went during the adult swim hours on the weekends. There was a lady holding swim lessons for 2 children so I didn't feel like I had the right to swim laps in the regular swim pool with my spouse who doesn't care for the lap pool. My understanding was that adult swim was for adults only not children.
