It's very rewarding .. has been upgraded as of late and has all you need to be and stay healthy.. very good habit to develop for sure...!! It's important to my staying as healthy, as I can possibly be!!! ❤️❤️

Experiencia fantástica: The staff in nice, the gym is clean, the locker rooms are clean, and the equipment is new. I do wish they would program the elliptical machines, so that when you try and watch live TV you could be able to tell the channels or at least print the channel list out and put it on the wall somewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: It has so many classes and I have tried quite a few. All the instructors are so welcoming and kind! The people around me are always smiling and so sweet and always willing to help! Being a beginner, I was so nervous but I was assured that no one was judging and they all were beginners at one time too. I am getting good workouts in and meeting new friends. I also love that I can bring my kids with me and it has something for all ages. So they don’t have to come to my workout, they go do what they need to do as well. We are very much enjoying our membership!

Experiencia positiva: The experience of using equipment here could be improved for EVERYONE with ONE SIMPLE policy: prohibiting use of phones in workout areas. I’m tired of people who hog equipment while scrolling endlessly on their phones as if they are the only person in the room. And yesterday, someone was literally running into people while he was staring at his phone, oblivious to everyone around him. YMCA has the staff to watch for this, and the only people who would be offended by enforcing such a policy would be the offenders.

My husband and I enjoy the variety of equipment, having the option of choosing between multiple exercise rooms, the cleanliness, the courteous staff, and the fact that it’s not ever too crowded. We are so happy with our membership, and feel so much better since we joined!

I love that I can bring my child to the Y play and everyone is so nice and professional there., I also love the indoor pool, with the lap pool, and the hot tub is very nice. I also love walking on the State Of The Art treadmills. Very clean facility, and it’s great that’s it’s Christian based.

Experiencia negativa: We have been a member for awhile. We join because everyone was so nice and helpful. We had questions about our account yesterday with a woman at the side front desk around 8pm on Friday, 12/15/23 and we felt uncomfortable while speaking to the staff member for the first time since being a member at this YMCA in Bellevue. The staff member wasn’t friendly, rude and made us feel like we didn’t matter. We won’t be back due to the way this woman treated us. We hope that the manager can make adjustments in the future so the community doesn’t have more people treated rudely during the holidays and the New Year in 2024. The Johnstons

Experiencia fantástica: Clean, lots of cubbyholes to put keys/cellphone if you don't want to use a locker, can walk indoors or outdoors, small rink for rollerblading/skating (I use this often it's safer than skating on the road or a Greenway), childcare, a great deal of fun things to do for seniors, free classes, indoor pool closes when it storms for our protection, and much more

Experiencia negativa: I am upset with the Nashville YMCAs. They are very obviously classist. They only care to upgrade facilities in affluent neighborhoods. I pay just as much but get stuck with the least desirable Y with much less amenities just because I live in West Nashville and not in Brentwood/Franklin. The Bellevue Y only has ONE mat pilates class on ONE day while Brentwood has over 3 teachers and multiple classes to choose from. Bellevue has a tiny indoor pool and no outdoor pool and its a very small Y. Now theyve closed down the Maryland Farms Y and are cramming way too many people their concord location that also lacks parking space. I shouldn't have to go alll the way out of my way to get to a Y that has an outdoor pool and mat pilates. I have knee issues and this is the only exercise class I can do that helps strengthen my body! I hate how unequal the YMCAs are. Now that theyve made millions from selling Maryland Farms they BETTER improve the Bellevue Y too. This is not okay.

I enjoy the lap pool and I always feel like the lifeguards and staff are very attentive to what is going on in the lap and rec pools to ensure that everyone has a good time and no one gets hurt. Going to the Y brightens my day!

It is well equipped with every kind of machine and everything is kept in good working condition. Every staff member has been incredibly nice and helpful. The personal training is also top notch. And after all that, the pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room are kept clean….

Experiencia fantástica: Pros: Out of all YMCAs in the area I have been in so far, i can say for sure this is the best one. I don't know how old is this facility but it looks its newer than other facilities so that could be a reason. There are a lot of machines and gears so even if the place is too busy you don't feel it when you decide which workout you will use. The indoor track is amazing, it is long, spacious, and has nice views to all of the gym areas so you don't feel isolated. The swimming area is also great, there is separated section for kids and separated one for lap swim, however there is only three lanes, the water is clean which is fine for most of the time. There is also a sauna, whirlpool ( slightly small) , and steam room. The locker areas especially the family one, I would not say it is the best , I've seen better than it, cleanness wise is OK I would say. I've never attended any of the classes so I can't give them a review. They also have a great day care for anyone need childcare while working out. Staff is friendly. Cons: nothing much but if I have to say something , the swimming pool hours are limited ( I guess due to staffing shortage as most guards are very young so they have school/college). the problem when the swimming is closed , the sauna and steam room are closed too. Not to forget the annoying shutdown when a lighting heard nearby , I understand they have to follow safety measures but I think it is too much and more theoretical risk; according to Aquatic Safety Research Group, "There are no documented reports of fatal lightning strikes at indoor swimming pools. None!, I mean if there is active thunderstorm in the area it makes more sense. The other thing there Wifi signal is weak ( I mean if 100 people playing streams at the same time yes sure!). For unknown reasons they don't serve coffee in the coffe mashine in the afternoon and evening ( it is not the end of the world). If my home has a very close gym like this one that will be my dream!

Experiencia fantástica: I am so very, VERY grateful that the Bellevue Y has been able to operate during COVID observing very careful protocols. I primarily use the pool, and Jamie and the guards are awesome. I love the lane reservation system. I have made some very good friends at the Y, and it is my "happy" place.

Experiencia fantástica: The community & upbeat atmosphere, as well as fitness and health goals are the reasons I attend the YMCA daily. During our county-wide mandate, the Y has found creative ways to stay pertinent and thriving! For instance, outdoor classes 6 days a week and everyone who walks in the door must wear a mask and sanitizer! I know things are tight at the Y right now, but the support that you all provide is immeasurable. I am grateful to have the Y to go to everyday while my family is still “safer at home”!

Experiencia negativa: The other Y’s stay open later than Bellevue which makes them better for working people. The policy of shutting the sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi an hour and a half before closing is very customer unfriendly. I Other Y’s keep these open until a half before closing. While the staff is generally friendly management seems less concerned with their members needs than at other Y’s. I have started going to Franklin which,although farther from my home, is more welcoming and now use Bellevue if time is a real concern.

Experiencia fantástica: The Bellevue Y instructors are extremely professional. They practice new Les Mills choreography before leading new routines for the class. Then they mix up the new with the old to provide lots of variety. You are constantly challenged as well as provided time to get better. Throughout the class, the instructors provide helpful tips on the correct way to do the exercises so that you can improve. They are always available to answer questions.

Experiencia fantástica: This Y is great. It is clean and the staff is friendly. I am a member of the Fifty Forward group and they have excellent classes and lots of fun activities to get involved in. The water aerobic classes are excellent and the instructors are vey well trained so you get a good work out.

Experiencia fantástica: I am quite certain that I am but one of many who miss our daily workouts at the Y during this time of pandemic lock down. Which is one reason I am moved to post this long overdue review giving the Bellevue YMCA the highest possible rating: the staff is excellent; the full range of equipment is high quality and replaced or upgraded regularly; the entire facility is clean, well lit and well ventilated, including locker rooms, showers, and bathrooms; and the overall atmosphere, from both staff and users, is welcoming and supportive. In short, the Bellevue Y is a superb facility in which to spend an hour or two every day, and while I appreciate their on-line resources, I very much look forward to reopening day.

My youngest son was afraid to go underwater for the longest time, and within 15 minutes of his first lesson he was completely underwater and so happy! Blown away by the professionalism, intentionality, and enthusiasm of the instructors… Cannot recommend it enough!

Experiencia fantástica: We have been going here for three years and it is by far the best YMCA in middle TN. The people remember who you are and always have a smile. Our 1 year old has been in Y Play since he was 2mo old and everyone makes him feel so special and welcomed.
