Experiencia positiva: I would give it a 5 star rating except for the following downfalls. 1. The 24h Access Policy: Halfway through my stationary bike workout, I'm covered in sweat, but I have to go outside in 40 degree weather in the rain and wait inline while each person has to reenter with their CAC. I've been to 24 hour gyms in installations all over the world and never seen this. In other installations if you entered with your CAC, like we all do, then you are a trusted member and trusted to stay in when they transfer to 24h shift. Trust us or don't let us in at all! 2. They used to play obnoxious music throughout the gym, a variety of rap and pop, with many of the songs featuring explicit lyrics. First of all, most of the music sucks, and secondly, I can see a family not wanting their kids in a place with explicit music blaring. When I was there yesterday, there was no music so maybe that has been fixed. 3. The bathrooms are few, small and in poor condition.

Experiencia fantástica: Best gym in the system in my opinion 10/10. Very clean and a ton of equipment. Super easy if you’re TDY they just have a sign in and show CAC at the front desk. It’s Army side so they have their rules, I just wear civilian gym clothes and AirPods in. Always looking forward to getting a chance to get a workout in here. Step out the front door and look right for a beautiful view of Mt. Rainer, hard to beat. Hours: 5am-9pm Monday - Friday 8am-3pm weekends and holidays

Experiencia positiva: The gym is nice! Lots of room and equipment,but it gets busy so I recommend you go during off hours like after PT or after lunch. They do have the 24 hours access (registration required).

Experiencia fantástica: Great equipment, love the lay out. They now even hold CrossFit classes on Mondays! (Ask for times if interested). A great amount of cardio equipment as well, and the weight room is a big size! Does tend to be busier than Soldiers Field House, but to be expected. :)

Experiencia positiva: Friendly staff, it's a gym comparable to any gym off post. If you're looking for a "cross fit" area, go to Sheridan Fitness Center. You'll have the space and equipment there. 4 stars because the pool is closed.

Experiencia fantástica: This place has everything that you need. It is kind of old and dated as far as the facility. But, the equipment is newer and functional. They have every piece of equipment for every workout. Plenty of ellipticals and treadmills for cardio and all types of lifting equipment. Their locker room is massive and has a sauna inside. They have a boxing area upstairs and a pool.

They have P90X, Insanity, CrossFit, Army Combatives areas just to name a few things that you would, or would not, expect to see. AWESOME GYM!!!!It's the best gym on base. Experiencia positiva: Overall, a pretty good gym with plenty of equipment, though peak times can still get a bit crowded. Biggest issue is that the pool seems to spend more time closed than open, which is really unfortunate b/c it's a great indoor pool for kids.

Experiencia negativa: Mask police everywhere. Will be going to SFH from now on. Do not go unless you enjoy waiting around in a cramped gym, while the employees hound you for wearing a mask half an inch below your nose.

Experiencia fantástica: Solid fitness center with many focus areas throughout. Similar to many D1 recreational facilities that focus on cross training, lifting and mixed martial arts

Experiencia negativa: I would love to go here more often. However, I CAN'T wear a mask over my full nose and mouth while doing any significant cardio. I will not risk suffocating myself and passing out, while being essentially blind due to foggy glasses, well over 6 feet from other people who are mostly all vaccinated, to appease those who enforce moronic rules created by leadership to only seem to care about aesthetics. I have other gyms I can go to and I won't be back till people start thinking for themselves.

Experiencia negativa: I was constantly harassed about the ridiculous mask policy and I am fully validated, the employees kept bringing up the generals mandate, It distracted my work out and I ended up leaving and went to soldiers field house and had a good workout.

Experiencia positiva: Great facilities and equipment. Only gripe is that people do not clean their "nasty" off of the equipment after using it. Make sure to bring a sweat towel or something to sit on. Paper towels won't cut it.

Experiencia negativa: Workers lurk in the shadows.. always watching... to catch someone with a mask too low.. the big white guy with glasses at the desk, vigilante by heart, there with the sole purpose to stop your work out and tell you to cover your whole face with your mask... and afterwords fading back into the shadows...

Experiencia fantástica: Best gym on post. They have a wide variety of lifting machines, cable stations, weights, etc. Very big by the way. And the Staff are awesome.

Experiencia fantástica: One of the best gyms around period. They have a rock climbing wall, boxing equipment area, a pool, and two large workout areas. One area emphasises cardio and the other weight training.
