Experiencia negativa: The gym is adequate. But I am very frustrated I had no idea they made it so difficult to cancel. During a family crisis, I am emailing and emailing trying to get a hold of billing to please cancel my membership I am met with absolute silence. I will see if I can travel back to go in person soon but until then they have you on the hook.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the FAC if you plan to use kids services. First, we had a bad experience with swim lessons. Then a week later, my three year old was repeatedly hit and kicked by an older child in the kids club. I found him cowering in the playscape crying when I picked him up — the staff didn’t even know it had happened. If you aren’t using the kids club, the amenities and classes at the club are good. However no workout for me is worth the bad experiences my kids have had.

Experiencia negativa: I have been a very long time member over ten years. Club suppose to open at 5am. Sit outside until past 5:30 am multiple times. Emailed them my frustrations two different times and they never even replied. So basically they are just saying they don’t care and live with it. The also continually raising rates however they club is degreasing. Weight machines falling apart. Weight room a mess most of the time. Hot tub isn’t maintenance properly and the list goes on. There are a lot of options out there now so I suggest checking your options before choosing this club.

Experiencia fantástica: FAC has been a real landmark in our community for over 17 years! There truly is something for every age group in the family. I'm a huge group fitness fan and love the fact that I have over 100 classes to choose from each week. With that variety, I have no excuse not to work out... :)

Experiencia negativa: Be sure to watch your bank account after cancelling your membership. I have been charged 3 months fees after cancelling. I have called each time telling them about the issue, they act like they're going to take care of it, and continue to not address it. Attempting to get the charges refunded through my credit card company and get the charges blocked since FAC appears to be incompetent.

Experiencia fantástica: The best gym in Fayetteville! In town from Seattle and looking for a great spot to exercise (lift, cardio, swim) with all the bells & whistles of a large corporate gym. Found F.A.C. and I couldn’t be happier. Locally owned and operated, this athletic club caters to upscale families, athletes and students. It’s a two-story club with an outdoor pool (warm & covered during the winter), both dry and wet saunas, full court basketball, run/walk track, racquet sports, and a boatload of classes from spinning to yoga and everything in between. Service is friendly and consistent. They seem to know everyone, very funny, interactive and FREE towel service! I love this place. Could easily compete with an Equinox or Lifetime.

Experiencia negativa: Facilities are good and the operating staff is great. Their only problem is their billing department and their internal communication. They use one billing system for for classes and another for membership fees, which failed to charge my card while the other system had no problem at all. Our membership was cancelled without notice and despite I emailed every address to address the problem, including the owner, they did not get back to us so far.

Experiencia positiva: Only thing keeping this Gym from a Five star gym. 1- It should really be a 24hr gym or at the least a 5am to midnight. 2- The hot tube really needs to be upgraded. Its 80's style outdated. hard to get those spots that you really need with the jets. Really just need to add a ton more Jets and that would be fine. Outside of that, I love the place.

I have been to many gym but FAC has literally what you want from classes to even great protein shakes. Also, they have the best staff ever. When you go ask about Alex. She is amazing.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the epitome of a family owned business!!! My husband and I got a family membership on 3/27/21 and have had the most positive experience!! The owner will stop and talk to you any time he sees you while he's there. The staff is extremely encouraging and uplifting. They are ALL very warm and friendly. The front desk staff make it a point to welcome you by name when you come at a certain time. It's always busy, but there is never any difficulty being able to work out because there is SO MUCH equipment!! Classes are included in your membership and there are so many to choose from! We were also able to sign up for the child care for our daughter who is too young to work out with us and she LOVES going. We're able to work out without worrying about her being taken care of. She has an absolute blast every time she's there. They treat everyone with the same level of friendliness and respect, regardless of your age, fitness level or size. It is an amazing place that you can tell they take great pride in. It is always clean as well. There are always clean towels and disinfectant to wipe down the machines. You'll often see staff going through wiping the machines down, as well. We got a great deal when we signed up that included a free session with a personal trainer who was amazing (thank you, Virginia). We will continue this investment into our health for a long time to come, but this place makes it easy to want to continue to go!!

Experiencia negativa: My Step Daughter has to quarantine for 10 days because she was exposed to an unvaccinated staff member. I picked her up on Tuesday from FAC Kids FACtory and i saw absolutely not one person, adult or child, wearing masks. Cannot recommend this program in the least.

Experiencia negativa: Been a member for 15 plus years. Basketball is treated as a second class activity at FAC. They advertise 6 baskets and then allow only 2 to be used because of a money making tool called Waymo. Which, most expensive place to go and then you have to pay even more for use of Tennis courts and programs like Waymo. Why do you have to pay extra for a crossfit class when you're already paying a monthly fee?

Experiencia fantástica: Fayetteville Athletic Club is such a great establishment. I have gotten the privilege to play on their courts and use the tennis facilities mainly. They were very welcoming and made the transition from my other tennis academy to this one very smooth! Love all the coaches and members that I have gotten to know as a college student! Fun environment and like I said before the community of people are outstanding .

Was a great experience, staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. They'll work with your budget, can make payments! Experiencia fantástica: If you're looking for a gym they're all over town. If you're looking for an authentic fitness experience FAC is where you need to get a membership. There's something for every athletic need or ambition at FAC. There's highly qualified trainers if that's what you want. If you like your exercise independence and prefer to go solo no one will push you by trying to sell you something you don't want. If you get bored easily there's an incredible variety of equipment and fitness programs FAC. If you just want to chill out, get so me time or take a break from you kids you can do that at FAC. You'll have to put in the effort but you have everything at FAC to help you transform yourself if that's what you want. If you choose you can also meet some wonderful people and make some new friends. They have a great staff so if you ask nice Kevin, Blake or Travis might even throw in a free towel for you to use after your workout!

Experiencia fantástica: The best family pool experience in NWA! Our family have been members at FAC for many years, and summer after summer we keep coming back to the pool area for many reasons. Whether you have elementary-and-up kids looking for water slides, young children needing to get acclimated to water, grown-ups looking to get laps in at the lap pool, or just a chill place to kick back and relax, FAC has you covered. I personally love the outside covered areas for us grown-ups looking for shade while the kiddos get plenty of swimming in. Thanks for everything FAC, and we'll definitely continue to be back year after year!

The friendly staff and members combined with the amenities FAC has to offer make it an exceptional place to be active and make friends along the way. Experiencia fantástica: Best gym in Fayetteville! Was in town for a couple months this winter while training for the Olympic Trials Marathon and got a membership here for my time in Fayetteville. The gym has everything I needed for training, including top of the line equipment and locker rooms, and close to running trails around lake Fayetteville. Will certainly renew my membership if I'm back in the area in the future

The staff are great and the facilities are pristine. It’s definitely a place I have made countless friends and workout partners as well as gotten the motivation to live a healthy lifestyle! I wouldn’t imagine going to another gym!

The club has been around for a long time, but the ownership is constantly reinvesting and improving both the equipment and the facilities. The friendly faces and friendly staff make this gym feel like a second home to their members! I would highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been a member here off and on since its inception. I love this place. I had quit a few years ago since I didn't have the time to take advantage of all the amenities. However, now that I'm semi-retired, I'm enjoying my workouts, the pool, and the locker room sauna/steam room/whirlpool tub. I'm looking forward to starting some of the classes real soon as well. You know it's a good place when you leave for a few years, come back, and see the same faces there (both working out and staff).

Experiencia positiva: In my opinion its a nice older gym but charge 20 dollars for a day pass. 50 for 10 days..for someone who only goes with friends periodically its just not practical. The staff are nice tho and its a clean facility. Its really just the price thats the downfall. I mainly go for basketball and Idk what a month pass costs but you can definitely go to a few gyms that are more reasonable.

I dont have to worry about my wife and children's safety in the gym or on the property when they going there. The facility is a well kept place with first rate modern equipment that my entire family feels at home at.

The staff here go out of their way to make you feel welcome and educated on all of their equipment. I couldn't be more pleased, 5 stars is a no brainer! I tell everyone I know about this place and make sure to "check in" on Facebook everyday I'm there (6 days a week). My only suggestion would be to open as little earlier on the weekends, just an hour earlier on Saturday would allow me to come 7 days a week. Thank you for providing a clean, welcoming, experience. I can't wait to see what the next year brings working out with you guys!

Experiencia negativa: When I first started, I thought FAC was great. However... as with any relationship, the flaws start to show over time. The equipment is getting quite dated (who still uses iPod chargers?!?), as is the facility (the tiles are coming off in the men's spa, and the place just looks and smells old). Despite the age, however, they are still charging premium prices --and I just can't justify $80.00 a month for something I can get for much less elsewhere. The final straw was when I went to freeze my account to try and save a few bucks for the holidays, and they charged me an extra month saying I notified them after the 20th. Fine... enjoy the $80, FAC --because it's the last you'll be getting from me. Ever. I'm canceling my membership and finding some place new.

Experiencia negativa: The stringing service is really bad. They wont allow you to use their machines, and will do a poor job. Had two tennis rackets restrung and both had problems with some visibly loose sections.

Experiencia positiva: Nice place and courteous staff but too expensive and I wish they would have a pool only membership. In summer the pool is outside! The other facilities are also quite decent. ANd they have lots of classes for the social types.

Experiencia positiva: The FAC provides the most amenities of anywhere in NWA (I've been to them all). It provides all of the same amenities a Life Time fitness for example would offer, but the facility is older and has more of a country club feel. If you like community, fitness, and programming this one is no brainer.
