Experiencia positiva: I switched over from 24 hr Fitness when I noticed the lack of maintenance at the hawthorn location. The staff is great, the equipment feels fresh and of pretty good quality. Being from Watts my whole life, I honestly expected other members and staff to be ghetto, not the case at all. Only complaints are that the parking lot is small, the cable machines could have more handles/rope’s readily available. I’m very satisfied with my switch from 24 to Blink.

Experiencia negativa: this place could be better.. the machines take forever to get fixed when they get broken. There are 6 stair masters here and 3 of them have been broken for months. There seems no urgency to fix things here. UPDATE 12/12/24: there are now 4 stair master machines down only 2 operating… this will be like this for months. FIX YOUR GOD DAMN MACHINES!

Experiencia negativa: This Blink as a whole has fewer, poorer quality equipment compared to LA Fitness, 24hr Fitness, and Planet Fitness. This location in particular is small too and isn't worth its membership fees. I find the staff on site to be highly unprofessional inept and incompetent. Pick a different gym than this sad pathetic excuse of a gym

Experiencia positiva: Good gym but beware!! it’s always packed!!..I understand certain things as to why but it’s so bad to the point where I can’t get in a good workout. There’s been multiple occasions where I have left after only being in there for an hour because SOME gym members love to hog machines, take turns with a group and if there is just a moment where a machine is free it’ll get snatched up in a second! Now I’m not stopping anyone from doing there thing but it makes me contemplate my gym membership:( Only option you’ll have that will be available at all times are the treadmills and that’s because there are plenty.

Experiencia positiva: Blink Fitness is a low luxury franchise owned and operated by Equinox. In fact, many of its former members have ditched the designer fitness institution for a more cost effective alternative, Blink. Think Coach leather goods vs. MCM vintage. Both are quality yet one has a reputation for being high brow with customizable bespoke opportunities. This Watts location has an attentive team, the latest equipment but for whatever reasons the brand DNA isn't consistent throughout its ecosystem. It's apparent the founder hasn't discovered a way to properly cultivate all of its employees. Nevertheless, just like many of its siblings, there's always a new sheriff.

Experiencia negativa: Just now I seen a fight and lasted approximately a minute, one of the gym members wasn’t aware that the other person was fighting him. He got beat up and the employees did not bother to intervene and just stood by to watch. Out of the 4 employees present no one said nothing nor approached the guy who got attacked.

Experiencia negativa: It's febuary 5th Monday weekends don't count. and I came in to cancel my membership I was told that when I signed up that I can come in the first week of the month to cancel I was told that I needed to pay the month and pay the $2.90 for counseling said if I don't pay the month they will not cancel my membership and will keep charging me monthly I was forced to pay REALLY calling (BBB) better Business bureau and reporting this today. By the way I did speak to the manager

When I cancelled my membership I asked the staff how much it would cost to cancel my membership and the only response was, “it depends” if you work there you must know the prices. Anyways don’t spend your money here go somewhere else.

They never followed up with my complaint which led to me cancelling my membership after years of being a member, since the first week they opened. It is extremely sad for me to see how much the culture has changed and having to leave when I honestly did not want to.

Experiencia fantástica: This fantastic gym deserves no less than five stars! I see several recurring themes in the negative reviews, and I have to say that most are minor, in my opinion. Yes, parking can be tight, especially during peak hours. But I've rarely had to wait more than a few minutes for a spot to become available. And let's keep in mind that Blink did what they could with the limited space available to them. I don't know why people think the staff is unfriendly or unprofessional. They ALWAYS greet people who walk in and say goodbye as they walk out. Some reviewers complained about the music, but this is beyond ridiculous. Gym music only needs to do one thing; be energetic, and the music here does the job just fine. I listen to shoegaze, black metal, grindcore, and all that loud noisy stuff, but even I dont mind the pop, hip hop, latin music they play, and I often actually enjoy it! And even if I didn't, there is a simple solution: earbuds/headphones. The one area I agree with can be improved upon is the time it takes to repair broken machines. But this is a minor issue when SO many alternatives exist in other machines. Ultimately, this is a world-class facility with awesome staff, and we are absolutely fortunate to have it here in Watts!

This gym used to be good when it first opened (about 2 years ago but I think that is just the case for any other gym in socal) Unfortunately now, it is just another crowded place, even early in the mornings (5am) We all kind off knew this was going to happen due to the location the gym is in... Parking is always an issue due to the apartments around the area. Be prepared to wait to use the squat machines (thank social media for that and so called "influencers") Recording should be banned and there should be time slots that people can reserve to work out. The gym is simply too small for the area it is in.

Experiencia negativa: Ya más de cerca un año en este gym y hoy como otras veces me dicen que no se ha pagado mi mensualidad pero como otras veces he tenido que perder tiempo para que arreglen su sistema que por algún motivo no se cobra, le pedí a RUBEN que era la persona que me atendió que me dejara pasar ya que no traía mi tarjeta conmigo y me negó la entrada todavía le dije que siempre he pagado y con prepotencia me avisa que si no pagaba para la próxima no me dejaría entrar, cuántos más entraron este día debiendo mensualidades atrasadas y yo por unos días me negó el acceso!! Por cierto RUBEN ES EL MANAGER con esa actitud va a echar a perder la gente que tan bien ha trabajado desde que llegué a este gym

Experiencia negativa: Fans are off and AC seems to be off. This makes it extremely stuffy in there so working out is a drag. I get it if employees are cold but this place is for people working out. It needs to be ventilated and fresh. Fix ventilation issue please. If you ask the front desk to turn it on they will say "yes" but won't do it.

Experiencia negativa: I will give one to star. There’s been a lot of times machines don’t work and don’t get fixed fast . I can pass weeks until they fixe them. Also there’s been more than ones that the gym it’s close and they open late. People waiting In the parking lot including me for the gym to open. It’s is unprofessional the gym website says opens at 5 am Monday through Friday. Everything was dark the power was off. The gym never opened. The website says it’s open. I went just to waste gas. Air conditioning it’s sucks sometimes they have it on sometimes they don’t. Gym owner should disclose that in the website so you know you shouldn’t wear sweaters or leggings to avoid dehydration due it to so much sweating. This is Seriously ridiculous.

Experiencia negativa: Staff is super unwelcoming and we’re screaming through out the gym they are closing in 20 minutes, 19 minutes, 18 minutes, 17 minutes and so on. It was super uncomfortable to work out being that the gym doesn’t close until 11pm and they were trying to intimidate the member to leave even thought they pay their membership and can stay all the way up until the gym closes.

Experiencia positiva: Overall my experience at Blink has been good. However, I have been consistently intimidated by a man who works out at this gym. He often walks circles around the machine I am using while I am there. He even confronted me in the parking lot for "looking" at him. There are only three olympic squat machines & sometimes they have fitness influencers that hog a machine for over 30mins while filming a video, no staff has ever approached these people. When I go to the gym, I am trying to get in and out. There are literally a lot of people on their phones, not finishing their sets, or talking with friends while other people are waiting. & get this! They have people jump people in line because they were saving the machine for a friend when people are standing around waiting. Staff need to enforce the 15-20 min machine limit or something. I've seen people hog one machine for a whole hour. (This location also does NOT have a gender neutral change room or restroom as advertised on their website).

Experiencia fantástica: Came here for the first time today. Upon entering i was greeted by the 2 receptionist.(they were really nice btw). The gym was very clean /sanitized and they require proof of vaccination which is a plus! Will be back as a regular for sure!
