The community, however, is the reason you keep going back. They are some of the best people you’ll meet and so encouraging. The coaches will help you attain your goals. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to CrossFit Lynchburg for 4 years now and it’s both an excellent community and style of fitness. The owners and coaches are all kind, approachable, and well-educated in proper fitness techniques. In fact, I was able to work out through my entire pregnancy because of the care and knowledge of these folks. CrossFit is for everyone, no matter your skill or fitness level. This gym is clean, the equipment is well-maintained, and they are constantly adding new features and benefits for members.

Experiencia fantástica: Joining CrossFit Lynchburg two years ago completely changed my life in the best way possible. I'm a mom of two little ones and I was a complete newbie in the CrossFit world. Needless to say, it's easy to feel intimidated when you're trying something new! Through excellent coaching and the encouragement from my class, I was hooked. I've remained consistent in class attendance and have seen a complete transformation - not only in my physical health, but in other aspects of my life as well. You can't exactly measure grit, resiliency or courage in a picture, but I've grown in all of these areas. You don't have to be "fit" enough or "strong" enough to start CrossFit. You just need a coachable spirit and a willingness to risk being bad at something before becoming good at it. If you've been curious to try CrossFit but were too nervous to try, this is your sign: do it. 10/10 recommend CrossFit Lynchburg.

Experiencia fantástica: CrossFit Lynchburg changed my life. Prior to joining CFL, I worked out religiously 5-6 days a week for more than a decade. I became bored with my workout routine and wasn't being challenged or coached and I had very little to show for it. A year and a half ago, with a lot of persuading from CFL gym members, I decided to give it a try. I can't believe the difference in my life. My WHOLE life. Not just my fitness. I am the healthiest and fittest I have ever been, yes, but I am also surrounded by an aboslutely incredible community of supportive members and coaches. I cannot express how thankful I am to Jerrod Ruhl and CrossFit Lynchburg. If you are considering joining a gym, please give CFL a try. It will change your life.

Experiencia negativa: Tried to check it out a few years ago when I was new to CrossFit. Very difficult to get a hold of anyone. When I was finally able to visit, the group was relatively unwelcoming to newcomers and the coaches offered little coaching assistance. It seems like a great place otherwise, but probably better for those with some CrossFit experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I dropped in while I was in town for work. They were super friendly and welcoming, which I appreciate because not all boxes are like that. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Experiencia fantástica: I dropped into CrossFit Lynchburg and had a great experience! David (coach) and Jared (owner) were both friendly and informative. I partnered with Josie who also happened to be a coach and she, aswell as everyone else, were incredibly welcoming. Definitely give this place a drop in if you’re in the Lynchburg area!

Experiencia negativa: If you are non Christian, you will have tough time navigating around, except for Jared, David, Dylan and Philip, other trainers will not make effort to mingle and put you to ease. I went there roughly for 1.5 years, got tired with the cold treatment. If I have to work out in isolation i can go to other gym

Experiencia fantástica: I love this Crossfit. Best in town hands down. I've been to several all over the country and our local Crossfit community is amazing. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Experiencia negativa: My husband and I completed the online information request, reached out on Facebook, called, left voicemails and never heard back on any of the platforms. Dropped by a couple times, and they were always closed. It sounds like great community, but they don’t make joining that community very easy or accessible …

Experiencia fantástica: Dropped in but was made to feel welcome the minute I opened the door. Programming was spicy yet scaleable and the coaching by Caleb was solid. He welcomed me to class and then treated me like any other athlete. Perfect!!

Experiencia fantástica: Jerrod and Amanda are great people who run a great CrossFit affiliate. They also have hired excellent coaches who are always willing to help you whereever you are starting. We are lucky to have such a well run and programmed gym in Lynchburg.
