Experiencia positiva: Just joined after moving to the area over the summer. The staff keep the place clean & organized. The group classes are structured in a methodical and orderly manner lead by enthusiastically motivated trainers. The front desk staff are communicative and knowledgeable of the business. Only downside is They have lockers & cubbies for storing your stuff. They could probably have more lockers and less cubbies.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Renegade for almost 2 years now and it's been an awesome experience. All of the staff are very friendly and the overall gym community is inviting. When I was new to the gym I never felt judged and many people were helpful in showing me the ropes. With 24/7 access and making it easy to pause your membership if you leave for school this gym is the full package. I do wish they had a sauna.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this gym. Been coming here for the past 5 years! Plenty of free weight dumbbells that go from 5Lbs-125lbs. 2 barbell benches 1 decline. 3 squat racks. 1 Smith machine. Plenty of cable machines. At least 2 of every machine for the plate loaded equipment. Plenty of regular machines to use as well. Stretch/bike room, turf and an abundance of cardio machines. There's even an outside fitness area. Showers/bathrooms are always clean(2 showers in the men's room). Not sure about the womens. I wish there was a sauna/steam room... I'd gladly pay extra for that! Open 24/7, staff is great and always helpful when you have a question or concern. This is a MUST GO TO gym in Wauconda!

I would highly recommend personal training with Tony and Alyssa. They are always understanding when it comes to last minute schedule changes. Experiencia fantástica: I started going to Renegade in 2020 and I have nothing but nice things to say about the gym and the people there. The gym is clean, well maintained, low cost, and well equipped. The staff is extremely nice and easy to talk to, responsible, and want everyone there to succeed in their fitness goals. I personally have been working with Tony Costello as a trainer, as he trains many of the members there and I could not advocate for Tony more if I wanted to. He has helped me in my understanding of working out, diet, systems, and has helped me put on a lot of muscle over the past 2.5 years. If you have not been to this gym yet and are looking to make some positive life choices, Renegade Fitness is the place to be.

Experiencia fantástica: Renegade is a GREAT gym. We came to find it about a year ago and hands down the cleanest, most up to date equipment around. The staff is friendly and committed! What was a big fitness change for us was coming to know trainers Alyssa and Tony. They are very knowledgeable and have many years of experience. They have supported, trained and guided me in my fitness journey from not just losing weight but change in eating habits, consistent weight training and getting stronger. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a change in your fitness journey!

Experiencia fantástica: First time here and it was a great gym plenty of room and weights for everyone to get some. They was a wide variety of people all ages all sizes. So I had no problem getting in there. Even some of the young haters lol. Everyone has a story of why there getting into shape everyone is going thru there own problems places like renegade really inspire and motivate me to be a better version of myself. This is my third week working out again in years. I hope more people get motivated to come to renegade. New to work outs or no matter your size or history just show up and put in the work!! Wish everyone the best and keep up the grind!!!

I train with Alyssa at this location and she does an excellent job focusing on specific areas each session! I literally knew nothing about using weights/ equipment before meeting her. She keeps me focused on my goals and got me down to my goal size for my wedding day! HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALYSSA AND TONY (they work great as a team)!

Experiencia fantástica: Alyssa has been training my son (now 14) for a year. I originally signed him up as a way to get active again after all his activities were canceled. Our plan was to have him go only a few months but he loves it so much he has continued. He has learned so much about fitness and Alyssa schedules each session based on his needs and goals. Alyssa and Tony both have also educated him on proper nutrition while strength training. I have noticed a huge difference, not only in athletics but also confidence. Alyssa is very easy to work with and has been extremely flexible scheduling sessions around school and sports. I cannot say enough good things. I appreciate them and would highly recommend personal training from them.

Each work out is unique and challenging, and she’s always thinking of ways to push me to my limit. She really takes a one on one approach and caters every workout to what my goals are. Ive never had a trainer who puts as much thought into the training as she does! She also makes Renegade such a fun, positive environment that’s different from other gyms I’ve been to. Experiencia fantástica: Best gym I've ever worked out at. All new Precor equipment, gym is super clean and staff is very polite and helpful. Best of all is they have a pro trainer Tony Costello that is probably the top trainer in Illinois! Glad I made the switch from those big overcrowded gyms.

Experiencia fantástica: I have worked out at a few other 24 hour gyms in the Lake County area and Renegade fitness is by far the cleanest and has the most too offer out of any gym I've ever been too. They keep the place immaculate and that is hard to do considering people come there with the intention to sweat. They are always offering challenges or other special events to promote health, exercise tips or just to benefit the community. The staff is super friendly and they have a large range of equipment. This is hands down one of the best gyms in the area.

Experiencia fantástica: Great equipment and staff!! Came in for powerlifting and hypertrophy work, and they had MORE than enough for both, with ample speciality bars, machines, and racks! Also had great and updated cardio machines and cables, and was very clean and well maintained.

You're honestly not going to find a better gym experience (in my opinion) I've been coming in the mornings & I love the fact that I don't have to fight for equipment. Oh, & the fact that they're open 24/7 too! I have been going to Lifetime Fitness for YEARS & while I do miss the indoor/outdoor pools, hot tub, steam room, basketball & atmosphere in general...I don't miss the weight gym at all & prefer working out here.

Experiencia fantástica: Been with Renegade for about a year and a half, I must say its the best gym I have been to. Its located off of Rt 12 which makes it easy for most people to get to. The staff is excellent and always helpful. Its smaller in size so you get less of the stereotypical people that larger clubs tend to attract but still manages to have all the equipment you would need for most fitness regimes. The equipment is always clean and to top it all off its open 24/7.

As a bodybuilder I need all of the necessary equipment and space and this gym has it! It is also one of the cleanest, well-kept gyms I’ve ever been in.

Experiencia fantástica: Renegade Fitness is a great 24/7 gym motivated by a helpful and attentive staff. Many gyms that have 24/7 access lack equipment you hope to see; however, Renegade offers a variety of free weights (multiple squat racks, dumbbells that go up to 120 lbs.), weight machines, cardio machines, and other unique equipment (battle ropes, tire flip, kettlebells, etc.). You'll also appreciate that it is always clean!

I have been a member for some time and I have seen great improvement even beyond the fact that this gym was always awesome. It is always so clean and I appreciate the fact that staff is always cleaning. I really cannot say enough good things. The fact that they do not make a member commit to a contract is ever so appealing! I like to know I can cancel any time and that there are no hidden fees. What you see is what you get. I have seen management update equipment to have the latest and greatest. Truly a spectacular gym!!! I likely the small and friendly atmosphere. Very inviting!

Experiencia negativa: I'm a disabled army infantry veteran and the owner said I couldn't park in the handicap parking spot despite having the appropriate placecard displayed. Because "I didn't look disabled" and "if you can come to a gym you aren't disabled" he also said I obviously have alot more wrong with me then my legs. He also said this to other members as i was leaving,This is a poor anti-military establishment with a disrespectful owner. If you want a gym membership go else where this place is a disgrace.

Experiencia fantástica: Super clean facility. Owners are active in the gym and constantly adding new things to make sure there is something for everyone and variety. Even has an outdoor area so it's fun to go to the gym when the weather is nice out. And it's a great value!!!

The gym is spotless and clean, the staff receptionist was smiling, very informative, and super friendly. The gym equipment looks all top of the line, and they have locker rooms, and showers for pre-work workout schedules, andddddd they are 24/7?! I was sold. Totally going back to sign up in the morning and begin my work out. Absolutely love this place. 10 out of 5 stars.
