Experiencia fantástica: Probably the best gym I’ve ever been to. Currently working out here, and I’m completely satisfied. Great staff, great atmosphere, and what I love the most is the music. Really good ROCK that motivates me to work out. Thanks to all the staff at this gym!

Experiencia positiva: Wow! What a difference a month makes. The new General Manager has really made an impact- Machines are repaired and equipment is clean. New pads are on order for weight equipment. Locker rooms are clean! And best of all he's accessible, listens and solves problems. The persinal trainers are conscientious, knowledgeable and friendly. There is a feeling of community here. (The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because 5 stars indicates perfection). It's worth a trip to the gym. Sign up. It's a really great space with friendly hard working people.

Experiencia negativa: DISGUSTING they have been out of paper towels for 5 days. This is the second time in the last month or two they have been out of paper towels for multiple days. I USED TOILET PAPER. Machines are ripped up. They will stay like that for months before repair.

Experiencia negativa: I have never minded this place… it’s a fine gym with basic machines. Today while there I went to wipe down the mat I used and there was not a SINGLE paper towel in any dispenser. That means NO ONE was wiping down any equipment… this place needs a health inspection, that is absolutely disgusting. When I told the front desk they said they were doing something about it as she slowly mopped the floors… I left.

Experiencia negativa: Professionalism at its lowest… last night I was accused for being a creep taking photos of ppl. First off, I was taking a photo of a chest machine I wanted to ask my Dad about. My Dad called, we talked about it. I even showed proof, and he still didn’t believe me. Said I also shouldn’t be calling in the gym. Then, he told me I was making someone feel uncomfortable by glancing over to look at them. He was apparently “watching me like a hawk” to make sure I wasn’t misbehaving. As if constantly stalking me is any better than what he accused me of. I tried to reason with him that I had no intention, but he still treated me like a criminal. The worst of it all is not only giving me a warning but telling all his co-workers about me like I’m a target. No rules were explained to me, nor was I even allowed to reason. And falsely painting me as a red flag to all staff is insulting. Staff members SHOULD be professional. What they SHOULDN’T do, is use members to make themselves feel like a hero.

Experiencia negativa: Do not sign up with Crunch Fitness in Palatine, IL. When I joined I was told I could cancel at any time but when I went to cancel they charged me for an extra month. I asked why and they said it was how their billing system worked. This was not disclosed when I joined. Very dishonest.

Experiencia negativa: I canceled my membership a month ago, but they gave me invoice again. They made cancellation process super difficult, and can charge you even you canceled your membership.

Experiencia fantástica: I miss this place already. $15/month for pretty much all of the weight equipment and space you could need, and it's high quality stuff. My only complaint is the weekend hours - 9 PM close time on Friday and 7 on Saturday and Sunday is pretty early if you like to work out at night like me.

Experiencia negativa: This place is unbelievable. I signed up for a membership a long time ago, through email, phone, and in person. I paid for six months upfront and even canceled my membership, but it seems there’s some miscommunication among the employees. Now, I’m getting calls asking for payment—what for? Please check your system, emails, and paperwork. I’ve already canceled my membership, so I shouldn’t be getting these calls.

Experiencia negativa: If you sign up for a membership and try and cancel it in the first month for whatever reason, you will be charged at least $100 anyway in mostly fees. It's also filthy and not very well lit up. Very disappointed...

Experiencia negativa: So many fees, it'll make your head spin. I canceled my subscription and then got charged another $93. It's a disgusting place, as well as the staff being rude and strict. I implore you not to waste your money.

Experiencia positiva: I’ve been a member for a few years now and the instructors are wonderful, they really care about their members! There has been a recent change in management and many improvements are being made to maintain a higher quality facility

Experiencia negativa: Terrible vibe at this gym, they intentionally dont turn on the lights to save on utilities, which turns this place dark and a breeding ground for creeps, which this place is filled with, people who are there to gawk at others and not workout. Only if they opened up all the lights it would discourage these creeps from being inappropriate. if you have kids or young adults dont send them here unsupervised, its not safe. There are a lot of entitled members here who lack even the most basic gym etiquette, they go around asking people how many sets you have left, when you say two, they dont go find something else to do, instead they stand in your face with their arms crossed like a bouncer at a gym trying to kick you off the equipment, this is worse for women on squat racks, as people stand behind them the entire time ogling till they are done using the rack. The gym can easily solve this problem by putting up wall signs to remind ppl to respect others space and follow gym etiquette, gyms 10yrs ago use to have these signs Social workouts and gym dates - get ready to deal with social butterflies who are there to be social and not train, couples who are essentially on dates making out on equipment but pretending like they are training, they spend 30mins actually training, and hour and half standing around and talking, to the gym this is not a problem, to paying customers who are there to workout this is a big nuisance which no one seems to care about. If you have options look elsewhere, this place is not worth the trouble.

Experiencia positiva: Clean and spacious gym with decent set of equipment. Most equipment looks to be in good shape and well maintained. there is no swimming pool or spa

Experiencia negativa: I called to this gym to cancel my membership! They said that it would take up to 30 days to cancel, I said okay and was waiting. Before my charge date I called to check in to make sure that my membership is cancelled. Unfortunately, it didn’t they charged me again. Why are they lying to me ? I’m really disappointed with this gym.

Experiencia negativa: This place is sad. From the moment I stepped in the door, there was no energy, there was ONE employee sprawled on a chair scrolling on his phone. No greeting, no hello, no goodbye, nothin! I was traveling from FL & my home gym is night and day different! Maybe the one employee they had could wash the windows or something to make himself useful.

Experiencia negativa: THE WORST GYM IN THE WORLD I have tried to cancel my membership and this is the 5th month that they keep charging me I have tried to talk to thousands of people and nothing this morning I wake up and I see a charge of more than $106 to my account really they are the most thieves!!!

Experiencia negativa: I have been trying to cancel my 2 memberships for the last 3 months, because I recently became disabled. I have emails going to Zack Isoda their Operations Manager, multiple times asking that he cancel the 2 memberships. On his last email he said he would credit my account. This month again I am charged. Because of this I will never return to this gym once I am healthier, and I will tell everyone I know never to join that gym. I have no choice but to contact the better business bureau, as they are stealing from me by continuing to take money out of my account. I have never been more disappointed with a business before. I will also attempt to contact ownerships. As nothing else seem to work.

Experiencia positiva: I've been going to this gym once or twice a week for almost a year now as a guest, my girlfriend has had the membership for about five years now, I like the equipment and the establishment overall and never had an issue with any of the other people that come here to workout and I was considering switching memberships from my old gym. Today 3/19 at around 10am as we were working out in the loose barbell area near one of the punching bags, a fitness class was about to take place and one of the instructors(Lisa) walks past by us, and says "be careful! I dont want you to get hit on the head with a weight ball" comes back around a minute later and says the same thing, and finally a third time, but this time, grabs my girlfriends gym bag and throws it next to her as she was in the middle of her set. This of course was aggravating to us and she replied we had heard her the first time. This sparked a back and forth between them two and at one point Lisa says, "I don't know who you are" and claims she's the Gym owner and she can terminate my girlfriends membership right at that moment and continued to make unprofessional comments, we finally grabbed our things and left. First, I think is disrespectful enough to interrup a stranger in the middle of a workout, touch their property and even more throwing it the way she did. Second, recognize the need to use an area or equipment, but if someone is there using an area or specific machine, we all know we respect said space until it's available, not harass the person to make it hurry up so that we can use it. we are all paying to use the space and we should have the right to be able to do such without being harassed and even less by a staff member.

Experiencia negativa: The staff was very lovely, no problems with them at all! I read the reviews before coming to this gym and the majority of them said that the gym was dirty but I wanted to give it a fair chance—don’t make the same mistake I did. The gym was actually disgusting and there are multiple machines that need to have their covers replaced. There are giant holes from the wear/tear which is normal but it needs to be replaced! That’s an infection waiting to happen. I had to go to another gym because it was that triflin. Get it together + don’t charge people 15+ a month for a nasty gym.

Experiencia positiva: Have been going here for about 2 years. Pretty good for a commercial gym. Paper towels are out in the machines most of the time. The slides on the cable machines should be lubricated more often. Most of the time they feel stiff and I have to ask the staff for a can of wd-40 to lube them.

Experiencia positiva: No hack squat machine and you have to check out the clips from the front. Only one full lifting platform plus a couple squat racks. Not bad whatsoever but a little disappointing to see something like 50 cardio machines and 1 single lifting platform

Experiencia negativa: SCAM - Haven’t gone to the gym for months. I cancelled my membership in august, which I came in to the building to do. This already struck me as odd - how could you not cancel a membership in person? They told me I had to email someone else. I did and they responded that it was cancelled. Today I just saw the charge on my credit card for all these months. Now I have to call my cc company and cancel all the fraudulent charges in the last few months. Absolute scam. Even with written confirmation that my membership is cancelled I’m still being charged.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a premiere gym for the serious workout crowd and novice gym goers alike. With a wide selection of free weights, benches, machines, cardio equipments, and a HIIT zone, you will find whatever you need for all your exercise needs. Additionally, the crowds are never to the point of impeding your workout routines even during peak hours. To top it off, management and staff are amazing and the prices are very very reasonable. Highly highly recommend it!

Experiencia fantástica: Recently joined this gym as I was looking for something closer to home, and was primarily interested in free weights, and the value of my membership vs extra amenities that I rarely use (swimming pool, b-ball courts, etc) 1 week into it and I’m very pleased. Members and staff are friendly, gym is pretty clean considering it’s not as large and busy as LA/X-Sport/Lifetime around lunch time/early afternoon. Sign up process took 5-10min since I knew exactly what I wanted and called ahead of time. The only thing I would suggest is having more clips for the barbells, but I’m assuming they’re being stolen considering they’re one of the nicest clips I’ve ever used the one time I saw them available. May consider bringing in my own set to address this issue. Still 5/5 stars overall. Hard to beat for what was $9.99, and now $15/month for the basic plan. Hope to be here for many years to come!

Experiencia negativa: Close way too early from Friday to Sunday. Nothing to watch beside “Fox News” and “House Hunting” shows. If the staffs decide to change channels, Cubs or White Sox. We all going to go somewhere else after a year contract.

I used to workout at the Mount Prospect Crunch, but the atmosphere was rundown, dusty, and outdated. Their ceilings were low and it was always crowded despite being a 24-hour gym. I love the Palatine Crunch and enjoy how friendly the staff is. The layout is much more modern and open. The warehouse-style ceilings are a bonus, especially coming from the MTP Crunch. 10/10
