Experiencia negativa: I have been going here for over 9 years. Coaches overworked me to the point of me getting a sprained ankle or arm about 7 times and once broke my foot because the coach was overworking me and when I told him I needed a break, he yelled at me and called me "lazy" and a "pain in the a**" even though I was doing my best. Coaches were very hostile in general and would often swear at us or insult us for not doing the tricks perfectly. They did not let me take ANY breaks at all, even when I absolutely need to. Coach John has been the only good Coach I have had there. I would FOR SURE recommend him to anyone, he is the only one who has actually had patience with me and taught me the most. I would not recommend Coach Austin, and I would not recommend Coach Julian either.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughters (5 & 3) have been taking classes at KIAGA for the last few years and love it there! Coach Amanda had been fantastic for both of them and has done a great job of connecting with them and keeping them focused. When my oldest started with her she came running to me saying coach Amanda said she had to do the donkey kicks and she didn’t want to because they were hard. I told her to ask coach Amanda why next time. Amanda told her she knew they were hard, but they did them in order to get stronger. From then on my daughter has done them and is so proud each time. My 3 year old asks me almost every day if it is her day for gymnastics. She loves her class and has made such a fun group of little friends through it. Coach Amanda knows how much she loves dinosaurs and makes an effort to wear her t-Rex yoga pants each week so they can match!

Experiencia negativa: Be aware and stay away from this people very rude and disrespectful. If manager is that rude and unprofessional what do you expect their staff. Horrible experience

Experiencia fantástica: Our grandkids (Girl 3.5 y/o & Boy 1.5 y/o) are both in the KIAGA program and LOVE IT! We have enjoyed bonding with our grandkids , watching them gain confidence in their physical and social skills while also preparing them to enter group activities on his or her own. The kids are learning and exploring through climbing, hanging, swinging, balance, jumping and rolling on a variety of mats and equipment designed just for them with out feeling cramped or crowded. Coach Amanda is amazing! Our grand daughter and her classmates adore her and her disciplined, fast paced and FUN approach to gymnastics. We have thoroughly enjoyed watching her progress, gain confidence and experience joy as she learns these important physical and social skills. Thanks to all the coaches and staff at KIAGA!

Experiencia fantástica: We participate in Gravity Warriors and really enjoy this class. Coach John is great! We recently had a Birthday party for a 5 year old here with 15 kids and it was awesome! They helped get us set up for the party and the way the parties are coordinated was excellent. The kids had a blast and thank you for a successful and very fun birthday party.

Experiencia fantástica: We’ve had multiple very fun and successful birthday parties at Kiaga . The staff are very helpful, and the kids have a wonderful time at the facility! My daughter also doing gymnastics here for 5 years now all the coaches are very supportive and a wonderful human being We are so grateful to be a part of this wonderful community ❤️ and everyone who works in Kiaga are one big family ❤️❤️

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely ridiculous!!! They do not have access to “same day” waivers. Don’t put your email address or you will receive endless sales emails! However, be sure to screenshot or waiver or you will not be on their approved list!!! They need to get it together and figure out a better system!! Ruining birthdays for children is not the best look!

Experiencia fantástica: Great gymnastics training facility for kids of a wide age range. This place also does birthday parties which kids love as they get to jump around on all the fun equipment they have here.

Experiencia fantástica: Just had my twins birthday party there. This place is amazing and the people that work there are top notch! I felt like I could socialize with other parents while they helped pass out cupcakes, put table clothes together and even gather gifts together. It was wonderful! The kids also had so much fun. I highly recommend KIAGA of Barrington! Thank you!

Experiencia negativa: This place needs to reconsider the coaches they hire. Especially if they don't have kids of their own or don't tolerate energetic kids. My daughter is really energetic but was put in timeout for it. She's not the only kid that doesn't listen but I didn't see anything done to the other kids. Why was my daughter being discriminated like that? She's the only one in her class with darker skin. That looked pretty racist if you ask me. I highly DON'T recommend this place to anyone. Kids don't need this kind of discriminating trauma in their lives. Period!

Experiencia negativa: Find another place for your toddlers. This place is not made for toddlers cause the lack of care from these coaches. Don't waist your money here.

Experiencia fantástica: We just had a birthday party for our 7 yo daughter here with 20 children. The kids had a great time. Staff was very helpful in getting the kids get on the equipment safely and getting our food served. I would definitely do it again!

Experiencia negativa: Horrible customer service I have been calling and emailing for weeks to set up my daughter for a birthday party as I was unable to do online. No one has called back or responded to my emails. I have been checking to make sure that the time is available. After I called again today and left yet another voicemail - now it shows its booked. Super disappointed with the facility and their communication. Now I get to let me daughter know that she cant have her birthday party here as the staff does not know how to return phone calls. Super unprofessional!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I love this gym! My girls have made such progress over the last year and a half and they love their coaches. The whole staff is amazing and make you feel so welcomed. I love the positive encouragement the coaches use even with their older athletes. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking for an intro class for any age or experienced gymnasts looking for great competitive teams!

Experiencia fantástica: The dregs of COVID washed a few in one direction or another. I’d visited this place during an odd time a few months ago and a few people dumped their COVID anxiety in my direction. A frustrated patron who’s wife had sent him the incorrect time, and a woman who was so over the dregs of COVID her soul ached. I get it. We all do. I retried it with my littles and sure enough, they adored coach J! He had them giggling and moving the whole month through!

Experiencia fantástica: KIAGA was the perfect birthday party spot for my daughter and her friends. The place is so fun and super clean. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful in the planning and set up of the party. Made my time hosting so easy! Would definitely recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: We love the toddler class (ages 1-3). My daughter is allowed to freely choose which activity she does. The “lack of structure” in my opinion is ideal for this age group. We have been coming once a week for two months and I can see her confidence and agility growing each time. Benefits of added balance and body awareness help at home, too!

Experiencia fantástica: We recently had a birthday party for my children at KIAGA. The communication was excellent from the start. Phone calls were promptly returned, and details of the party were explained. The day of the party, the staff was AMAZING in helping with the set-up, keeping the children fully engaged, and serving cake/drinks. The price was a bargain too! I highly recommend birthday parties at KIAGA!

Experiencia fantástica: So happy to have this place open during Covid. We started back in June 2020 when they reopened when the YmCA gymnastics didn't open. My daughter does girls beginner gymnastics and trampoline and loves it. It is very safe and clean. Coach Jen is awesome and loves the kids.

Experiencia negativa: Our daughter was recommended to move up but then the other coach said no (that they would have a new class in a couple of months she could move up into) but no one followed up with us, so our daughter was left in this sort limbo between a class she had outgrown and waiting for this new class that might happen. We left several messages. The office management basically accuses me of lying that I called. Several of our friends had the same experiences and left this gym for the same reason. No one told us we had to withdraw online with a form. Finally did that on June 3rd 2019, We have since been charged again for June and August and I've had to call to get refunded. This week alone we've left 3 messages with no call back and no refund.

Experiencia negativa: I am very disappointed in the management at KIAGA. I signed my daughter up for a month of advanced tumbling. I was specific that the schedule was rough with all our activities. Our last class was April 25th. KIAGA continued to bill me for May and now, today, May 28, 2019 they billed me for June. I have left three emails and two voicemails. At one point, the lady called me back around May 10th and said she would "take care" of it. But before she can do something I need to log into the portal to cancel. Well, I did that the same day I talked with her. But nothing was done on her end. No one ever picks up the phone over there either. Now, I have to get my credit card company involved. Definitely not the way to make your money, KIAGA. Perhaps you missed an email, but to "miss" two voicemails and all three of my emails, as well as talk with me, acknowledge you understood the request and still not do anything, there really is no excuse. I would not recommend this gym.
