Experiencia fantástica: I’ve come to this gym at all hours of the day and there is hardly ever a wait for a machine. It’s the most perfect basic gym. Get in, work out. Staff is super friendly and the equipment is different from most gyms. You’ll still have what you need, though. They have the perfect one-month membership for the folks who are longer-term but still transient.

Experiencia fantástica: After retiring in November, I needed a way to keep in shape. A friend of mine turned me on to Fitness Edge and I love it. There are plenty of people my age as well as younger (and older) folks, so no intimidation here. Howard Rubinstein runs a senior wellness class M-F that is terrific. There's never any waiting for a machine and the selection of machines and free weights is abundant. I highly recommend Fitness Edge. BTW...the owner, Ken, is often around and seems very nice and helpful (and is very easy on the eyes ).

Experiencia fantástica: Great equipment, never crowded, great location, fair price. Plenty of free weights, benches, and machines. Nice mixed clientele, always mellow and non-intimidating (although there are a few serious bodybuilders that work out here). The only improvement I could suggest would be a better glute drive machine. There are no showers or wet facilities, but I shower and change at home so it's not a minus for me. Fantastic gym!

Experiencia fantástica: A fun, independent gym in Palm Springs with an excellent selection of equipment and free weights. Facilities are well-maintained and clean. Ken, the owner is personable and helpful, as are the other team members. Personal training is top rate.

Experiencia fantástica: Clients for 5+ years and for us, best gym ever. Great atmosphere, great staff, great clientele and pretty much every machine you could want and well made. And the best price. You feel safe and not judged. The on staff fitness coaches are amazing and very positive and give supportive comments even if you are there without a trainer and always a smile. Ken, the owner and also a trainer and runs several classes, is very engaging, attentive and takes care of his clients. The front desk staff, especially Bri and Bryana, always friendly and you are greeted with a smile and they are a step above other gyms: they know your name. Just in that, it makes you feel welcomed and helps lift your attitude. As a senior, this the place for us. Many there inspire us to do more. They have special training and classes for seniors and choices of classes to fit your level. We love this place and reccomend it highly. Young or not so young, builder or just staying fit and healthy you're at home here. Thank you Ken, Bri, Bryana, Dan and all the staff, you give us a gym and environment we look forward to coming to and pushing our selves to be healthier and stronger.

Experiencia fantástica: No question about this being the best gym for us! My partner and I have been members for over six years now. We will not be going anywhere else. This is a rare find in a gym that meets all our requirements and has great selection of equipment. The gym is always clean and we note - that is there is an issue say in the bathroom that staff are always quick to respond. STAFF: as far as we are concerned this is family - we know that the staff including the trainers all want to respresent the gym and give 100%. Front desk: Bri and Bryanna have always answered all of our questions. They always make certain that they have provided all answers. They do so very conscientiously . Nothing is hidden. Everything about the membership is very transparaent. I think it would be very hard and near impossible to find two more dedicated and engaging team members. KEN - the owner is very present at the gym - and certainly not a " stay at home owner." He is always out on the floor either training or engaging with members. What more could be asked? He has expanded classes and taken the initiative to always add health and wellness course - ie. dietary. His emails to members are great! He is well versed in individual training and group yoga and working compassionatley with seniors. TRAINERS: all very much engaged with their clients. Not "unapproachable " like the those of others gyms ( personal experience.) MEMEBERS: a cross section across all age groups and what is so nice to see, is that most are very happy and engaging themselves. Vast majority do not bring a negative vibe to the gym. They leave their attitude at the door! So, it does feel like a family. We look forward to going each day of the week for the positive energy and interactions. If you are a new member or thinking of joining or just dropping in - you will feel comfortable here....just relax and give it a go. Folks are very welcoming. That, along with the staff, make this a super place to be. True there are no showers but we honestly would prefer this to the other option one might have. Reach out to the gym and visit. Give the front desk appreciation because they contribute very positively to a postive and friendly experience. Pay attention to the fact that the front desk staff welcome you and say have a good day when you are done. Remember also that " life happens" and opening mighth be delayed due to " life events - traffic, family emergencies etc. If you cannot be reasonable...then find somewhere else - the front desk is not there to be demeaned in any fashion. IF you think you need a personal call to be told things are running late - then best find yourself a private instructor and separate place to shed your wearisome burden. Come and enjoy a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Experiencia negativa: 10/5/2023-Once again for the second time in a month, no employee is here at 5am to open the doors for the now 12 members waiting to work out. Nor did Ken the owner contact me the last time this happened. I have text and left a voicemail for Ken but no response this morning. How can management allow this to continue?. The last time it happened the employee didn’t show up for one and a half hours and it was the manager Bree. She was suppose show up but not an hour and a half later!. What a way to run a business and treat members! Update: Sunday November 19,2023 at 7:30 am, they were suppose to have opened at 6am, yet, again, no employee had shown up to let members in. Management cannot even get employees to open, once again. Now according to the latest email, they’re going to charge even more monthly dues !! And for what? Raggedy equipment that is in dire need of fixing, recovering or replacing? Constantly dirty floors and equipment? Dirty bathrooms? Employees that don’t show up on time to open up or even show up at all? And an owner who doesn’t respond to members questions, concerns and ongoing issues? What a way to show how NOT to run a business and how NOT to treat your members properly 3/22/2024 update- for the second time in a week the employee (Bree the manager) failed to show up to open the gym, again, and members are left waiting for some to open up as I write this. The owner really needs to get a new manager/employees that can do these jobs and show up on time…left a message for Ken but it just went to voicemail, so we all have to wait around, again. 5/17/24 update: For the 6th time in 5 months no employee is here to open up at 5am. It’s so very discouraging. It’s also no way to treat your members and not a way to run a business.

Experiencia fantástica: My girlfriend and I bought a weeks pass while on vacation. Front counter staff were very friendly and greeted us every morning we arrived. Good equipment, well kept and awesome environment. Will definitely return on next trip to Palm.

Experiencia fantástica: I attended this wonderful gym for six months while I was in Palm Springs. As a woman, I wanted a space that was quiet and peaceful and friendly to me. Fitness Edge was perfect. High ceilings with fans for great air circulation. Music videos are playing but not so loud you cant hear your own headphones. Huge variety of equipment so my workouts were efficient. And very nice front desk staff. I have gotten stronger since I joined the gym and will be back next season. If you are a woman looking for gym that you can feel comfortable in - this is a great choice for you!

Experiencia positiva: OK commercial gym. Has all the standard machines and pulleys, a good range of dumbbells, and a few barbells. Nice and quiet. Daytime clientele was mostly old guys. (Went there because my hotel has an agreement that guests can go there for free. It looked like they have that contract with many hotels)

Experiencia fantástica: Great gym! Just started going and really enjoy it. Talked to Justin one of the employees, said he just started working there but seemed extremely knowledgeable. Definitely going to keep going.

Experiencia positiva: Nice gym, lots of space and equipment. My only complaint is that the wipe dispensers are often empty. Not sure why the young girl who sits at the front counter staring at her phone can’t take 5 minutes occasionally to refill them.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a member of the fitness edge been going there since 2007. I've managed to keep my weight down the machines are always in working condition the staff is very pleasant and helpful.

I’d give it 5 stars if it had a dedicated hip thrust bench, but they don’t, they have the space, it would make it a perfect gym (Brent Contreras sells the best hip thrust benches). They could also use a power rack as it has multiple uses, otherwise a great gym

The friendly, welcoming staff, the knowledgeable and experienced instructors, the yoga and cycling classes offered, the dedicated quiet space for yoga practice and the professional atmosphere all make the experience worthwhile and fun.

Experiencia positiva: Great gym , specially because is close to my house . Is clean all the time and not overcrowded . The equipment is in great condition and they have great variety of gym machines. The staff is friendly, especially the one on the night. The membership is a little higher but is worth it. I definitely recommend this gym to my friend and for those looking for something quite , clean and especially not overcrowded . I hope one day they change the closing time to 10pm or 11pm that would be great!

Experiencia positiva: I joined this gym for 3 days while on holiday. Great medium sized gym and a very reasonable price. Equipment was well selected and high quality. A choice of machines and free weights for all body parts. I went early and it was never busy and had ample parking. If I’m in Palm Springs again I’ll be back for sure. I didn’t use the changing or toilet facilities so cannot comment on them.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this gym! I’ve been going for 5 years and it’s always clean, well-maintained, with friendly staff. Though I live in CT, I visit frequently visit family in Palm Springs so this is my go-to gym when I’m there.

Experiencia positiva: The place is clean offering wet disinfectant wipes to clean the machine after every use. They have a large variety of equipment though not all is modern that is why I didn’t give them 5 stars

Experiencia negativa: This gym and it's staff are incredibly rude. Not sure if they truly just don't care about how their staff treats it's members but this place is not it. Work out somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: My fiance and I got grandfathered into this place when it bought out palm springs fitness center. We wanted to cancel the membership because following covid we really didn't want the membership and had already bought our own home gym. They were also charging us from months ago (when covid didn't even allow working out inside a gym). We called to cancel and spoke to briana who was extremely rude and gave my fiance an attitude about cancelling, explaining that she had to come in person to cancel. My fiance calmly explained that her sister who lives with us has an auto immune and she did not want to risk going in. Briana then said she would cancel it herself. A month goes by and we see the charge for the gym on our bank statements again. We call and speak to briana who was rude once more. We ask to speak to a manager and a woman comes on and tells us that Briana has been there for four years and would never tell someone that she would cancel them over the phone and said that we needed to go online (which was never mentioned to us until now). We asked if they could refund our money because Briana had said she would cancel but didn't and they refused. It's really upsetting that in a time where people should be understanding, this place really shows their colors. A money hungry company that doesn't train their staff well and doesn't care about the people in their community. I doubt this place will last long. Take your business elsewhere. World gym, EOS, Planet fitness, Power of fitness, In shape, 24 Fit Fix, Anytime Fitness, The basic gym... literally go anywhere but here because the staff is rude and completely unprofessional.

Experiencia fantástica: 20 years at Golds N Hollywood. 1 year at 24. 1 year at Planet Fitness. The only place over enjoyed as much as Golds is this place. The only thing i wish it had, maybe future, would be later hours in certain days but otherwise it's a great gym.

Experiencia negativa: They have a free 1-day pass on their website, which i downloaded and brought in. They wouldn't honor it - instead saying that I could have a 1-week pass, but only if I could provide I.D. with a local address. The policy is unclear and their attitude about it is hardline. Not a great way to run a business.
