Experiencia positiva: I really enjoy the gym and how many machines and free weights they have. Other gym goers are quite friendly as well. Most of the staff is really friendly.

Experiencia negativa: They make you wait a month to cancel your membership and still have to pay for that month even if you don't go. In a matter of 2 days these crooks charged my card 61$. 20.99 for the half month I was never there and 40$ to cancel.

Experiencia fantástica: I was torn between a few different gyms when looking to sign up. I’m so glad I chose Powerhouse! They staff is amazing! My children love the child care area. It’s always clean. The equipment is top notch. They have everything you could need and more…including a cross fit room! I’ve tried a few classes too, don’t let them fool you they kick your booty! So happy to be a member!

The team member said that they don't give any free trails not even a day without a cost attached $60 for the week?! I wanted to support a family owned gym but it looks like LA fitness won!

Experiencia positiva: Steam room hasn't been clean seems a couple days. Plastic bottle of Water sitting same exact spot past few days which Indicates to me but who I am so, I digress. Just letting you know.

I've had a lot of instructors from a lot of gyms in my 70 years, and I have NEVER had consistently better, smarter, or more supportive and kinder instructors. I switched gyms for the two of them! We are so lucky to have them.

Experiencia negativa: This is a horrible, duplicitous business with the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had to call and email at least a dozen times over seven months before they finally canceled my membership, despite numerous promises from employees to do so. Representatives and managers from the store promised to issue me a refund multiple times and then went back on their word. This predatory company counts on making a profit from customers who become frustrated and give up on canceling their memberships. If you sign up here, be sure it is for a lifetime membership, because that is what you are getting, whether you like it or not. They will lie, cheat, and steal to eek every last dime they can out of you, and will put up roadblocks to make it nearly impossible to cancel so they can continue to leech away your hard-earned money. Absolutely disgusting business practices. Everyone who works in customer service here should be ashamed of themselves.

I went in person to cancel and they gave me a link to a website that says to log in when I have no username or password to do so. On top of that I got a new debit card but they have my routing and account #s so it looks like I'll be a member forever

Experiencia negativa: A front desk staff member was a bully and made an inappropriate comment in front of other people of how I dressed. Staff members should not say anything about a customer's appearance. They should mind their own business and keep their mouth shut. Let me come in and just work out. I don't need fashion advice. According to their marketing, this atmosphere was supposed to be "non-intimidating." How customers dress is their own expression and has nothing to do with anything else. How dare a staff member comment in such a rude manner!!!! In addition, I brought this to the attention of this front desk staff member and he scoffed at me. He acted repugnant and treated me badly. He did not even say sorry. I wish I did not sign a 3 year contract because I don't want to attend this gym anymore.

Experiencia negativa: John & Priscilla who work front desk; you guys are beyond rude, and disrespectful. The staff picks and chooses who they want to be in that gym and if they don’t like you for whatever reason they will make it one of the worst experiences of your life. With there being so many new gyms that have open my family and I will take our business elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: I paid $399 for my membership, and I had to cancel 6 days after because of a medical condition, and they didn't want to refund my money. Also, I never used the membership. Also, I went to the gym and asked for the manager, but they said that she came after 12:00 pm on weekdays and not body was able to help me.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a good experience visiting Powerhouse in Menifee. The gym is small. The locker room space is a little tight and grungy. The staff is nice and helpful. The gym has lots of good equipment. I’d come back here again.

Experiencia fantástica: We’ve been on and off members of Powerhouse Menifee since 2016 and we love it here! It has everything we need to get a good workout in, including aftercare with the dry or wet sauna and hydro massage bed! The atmosphere is always welcoming and the front desk staff is always helpful! Julia immediately greets me and always asks if I need the sauna! I love that most of the staff and other members make it a point to get to know each other and it becomes your little gym family! I’ve been a member of many gyms in different states and Powerhouse comes in second compared to LVAC in Vegas!

Experiencia positiva: My first time in the gym since I signed up. I had questions about your app and no staff member could answer my questions. I wanted it to sinc to my watch and track my workouts. I was told it’s mainly just for signing in. It was a bit frustrating. Also I can’t give you any names of the staff members because no one has their name on their shirt.

Experiencia negativa: IS NOT FREE TO CANCEL! They use the excuse that the fee isn't called a "cancelation fee" but you will have to pay 30$ to cancel your membership. Only way avoid is by paying the entire next months fee or pay the 30$

Experiencia negativa: Powerhouse is one of the most unprofessional and unorganized facilities I have ever been to. 1 stars is giving this location too much credit. The stories I have heard from staff on what management has done is baffling. Management has absolutely no regard for work life balance, treats employees like second rate citizens. Does not care about upkeep of equipment or amenities. Do not waste your money on this horrible gym! Charges more money than any other gym in the area but can't afford to pay workers a living wage!(:

Experiencia negativa: I've been trying to get out of my contract for months to no avail. I would go into the Powerhouse gym on different days as well as nights, talk to different clerks and I'm always given the runaround. Is that how you keep your customers from leaving. I don't want to bring in a lawyer, but if I have to, I going to get more than out of my contract !!! I've even tried to get out of my contract on line to no avail. Yeah I think it's time to bring in the lawyers. I've exhausted all Avenues, so you can't say that I didn't at least try my best !!!

Experiencia fantástica: Equipment 47 cable machine - instead of proper weight set pin, you guys got Allen keys Equipment 74 decline bench - wobbly where the legs rest, only a few adjustment settings, so it is more hard to adjust for short and tall people. Overall, gym is clean and well maintained. I miss your guys outside portion.

Experiencia positiva: Nice machines, they have a pool which you don't get at many gyms, its pretty big too, the machines are always being worked on, so you can guarantee, that they will be working. Cardio equipment is good, and they also have dry saunas for recovery. It is a little cramped in this spot, but I can give credit where it's due, and admit that this building was not meant to be a fitness center, but I know that the interior designers did what they could, with the placement of machines, and everything else. Oh I forgot to mention they are open 24/7 days a week, which is great, because you can go at any time.

Experiencia positiva: Don’t get me wrong this is a good gym but once I was told I had a missed payment when I was getting charged automatically from my card then told I’m not a member anymore was a joke to me I’ve tried to get ahold of the manager and was told it’s done yet I still get calls to make a payment but I’m not paying for a gym I don’t even go to let alone live near I blocked my card and I don’t want to deal with this gym anymore I might sue and I’m pretty sure if I mention Suing I’d probably get it done faster because I’ve lost a lot of money especially when I was homeless with nothing and still paid for this gym and to get told I’m not a member I said screw that this isn’t my gym and to say I missed a payment when it’s been taken from my card is ridiculous and speaking to the manager is a hit or miss

Experiencia negativa: I loved this gym only problem is when I reported an incident when every time I go in there’s an older man who just sits and follows me and every machine. No one called me back about this. Incident I now have to drive far to another

Experiencia fantástica: Every time I’ve gone, the staff have been very friendly and helpful, the equipment is clean, maintained very well and the gym itself is very clean. My only negative (and it’s not being directed at the staff) is the fact that members homestead on a piece of equipment. They might as well get a mailbox attached to the equipment since they are on it so long, they may as well get their mail delivered there. They’ll sit there on their phones texting and taking up time, instead of just getting their sets finished and moving on to the next piece of equipment so that the next person can use the equipment. Other than this, I highly recommend Powerhouse Gym.

My son loves the childcare and is always asking if we are going to the gym . The gym is always clean here and the staff is all super informative and prepared to accommodate The members . However I wanted to give a shout-out to Caleb, he kindly helped me get set up with registration to scan in on my first day there and took the time to teach me the protocol on how to properly reserve amenities!! From that day onward he has always greeted me with a smile! Ps: love the environment here! You get in, get the workout done then get out ✅ plenty of machines, benches, treadmills, free weights.. membership is worth every penny!

The atmosphere is great and people were happy and pleasant. There is one piece of equipment that I was looking for but didn’t see it. I still was able to have a great workout and experience.

Experiencia negativa: Outdoor gym is in construction indefinitely for the past two years, too many people not enough working machines, 2 toilets 2 urinals only one works it's a shot in the dark if the sauna will work/ be open. The water pressure for sinks is a trickle, the water out of the one working water fountain in the entire facility is warm, Not enough lockers.

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed that they don't allow you to pay for your membership with credit card. If you want to freeze your account because youll be outif town or something they still charge $5 a month, limit the number of times you can freeze it and make you jump through a series of hoops. Please get better.

Experiencia positiva: I’ve been going to powerhouse for about three years now. The gym and employees are nice but it has become heavily crowded and their new system for payments is horrible. I showed that I processed my payment many times after being told my payment was late I spoke with a representative over the phone who was no help and then got charge $20 and was told it went towards next month’s payment but was charged full price for that month.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been a member at powerhouse for 11 years and have recently started coming to this location and have had nothing but wonderful experiences. Always clean, equipment fixes within a day or two and amazing staff. Kaleb always makes sure to greet all guests, informs you on deals, and always has such a positive attitude. Any complaints I have or any other member may have, he resolves in a timely matter. He builds rapport and really gets to know the members. I have been to all three locations and this is by far my favorite. The staff really has an impact on the experience. Keep up the great work Menifee.

The gym is always clean thanks to the amazing cleaning team, front desk always welcomes you with a smile and has your best interest and Cindy, Ingrid and Jill the gym instructors are AMAZING! You will definitely get a great work out as they are consistent and definitely care about their clients. Powerhouse gym Menifee and Murrieta has a family vibe and I love it! Let's get it in️‍♀️

Experiencia positiva: I enjoy my time at power house. I’m not sure if this can asked of a public gym but my 2 biggest concerns is the space between the equipment it feels like you’re always in someone else’s space on the free weight side. The second concern is ventilation and airflow it’s really dusty and there’s a constant sweat smell that could possibly be masked with some type of air freshener and air purifiers. I continue to go because the machines always work and there’s a variety of equipment/weights. The trainers are polite, helpful and not pushy. Also there’s a basketball court that’s well kept. Most of all I can record my workout sessions without any issues.

Experiencia positiva: Not a bad gym. However, getting out of the parking lot and into the main street is not that great because of the parked cars on the side during busy hours. Got honked at by an impatient pickup driver (who likely went to the gym) behind me as I waited to make a turn since cars are coming from both directions. Mind you, I was driving a smaller car so visibility was limited.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the one and only best 24hr gym. It’s clean and convenient. Staff are very helpful with any request, even staff Brianna there helped me with understanding the change from fingerprints to even an easier process of just scanning my app! Good gym. Can’t beat 24hrs.
