Experiencia positiva: I love the pointe most of the time I think the hour should be longer but I get other people have a life too and I don’t know one of the employees name but I did a little rim grazer and he came flying in the gym and literally screaming at me and said the backboard said no dunking but when I look up there I didn’t say no dunking and he threatened to kick me out if I did it one more time he’s a white male with a brown side part he looks about 5’11/6’0

Experiencia fantástica: Have been coming here for 10? Years. The hours ,people, and equipment is great. Their always trying to improve the facility. The only minor complaint- they are not able to accommodate the large group of pickleball Players though they try .

Experiencia fantástica: Great workout! Super professional and intensive. The music is super pumping and trainers are great. Everyone seems to be so positive and uplifting. Place is really clean and they sanitize the equipment after each workout. Highly recommended.

Experiencia positiva: Had a birthday party here back in April and the staff was so helpful and great about everything. My son got to swim all morning and then have his party in the afternoon. I didn't give full 5 star just based on location of party rooms to the pool. You have to walk all through the bathrooms and through lobby to get to the party room. I think in the future building the rooms attached to the pool would be safer and more beneficial for party experience. Other than that the facility was well maintained and pool was clean and lifeguards were on watch at all times. Had a great time, thank you!

Members talk to each other, support each other, and encourage each other as we all work towards better health at our pace and abilities. It offers such a fun, positive atmosphere for all ages and various interests. I actually look forward to my workout days!

Experiencia fantástica: The Pointe is a really awesome health club/gym for the Ballwin community. It offers something for everyone when it comes to health and fitness, which sounds cliché, but it is true. There are teens who come solely to play basketball; there are families with their kids who come for the pool; there are walking track people, cardio people, and weights people. What everyone shares is a basic commitment to wellbeing, whatever that needs to look like for the individual. The age range is really cool to see, and one gets the sense that the people all around them are a collective reflection of "the community." The staff members at the front desk are always kind and helpful. The facilities were clean prior to and throughout the pandemic, and I imagine the pandemic will set the standard very high for years to come. The prices are very reasonable and competitive if one is a Ballwin resident, but otherwise, it might be worth looking elsewhere. My wife and I have never really been "gym people", but the Pointe has provided us a really positive, well-rounded experience.

Experiencia negativa: Worked out here for 6+ years and during the pandemic, operating hours are a joke - it's hardly ever open and membership rates are absolutely out of control. 800+ for a subpar exercising experience when any local gym which is open to 11pm every day is maybe 200 a year. It wasn't until switching when I realized how much of a rip-off it was.

Experiencia negativa: "swim" lessons... Watching more than 9 minutes straight of sitting on the edge of the pool in the middle of a 30 minute class which is advertised as 45 minutes. The pointe is a good center, the swim lessons not so much

Experiencia positiva: Staff was alittle rude and could not agree on how much Pickleball was for a nonresident. I ended up paying $9 for pickleball on a Saturday night. That's expressive for a few hours of Pickleball. Most places charge $3-$6 for non residents or just a flat rate. Level of play varies.

Experiencia negativa: THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS ALL THE WORKOUT EQUIPMENT YOU MAY WANT OR NEED. HOWEVER, THEY DON'T WANT TO SPEND THE MONEY TO HIRE A LIFEGUARD TO UTILIZE THE POOL AREA DURING THE DAY! THIS AREA OF THE BUILDING IS LOCKED UP! WHY HAVE A MEMBERSHIP WHEN YOU CAN'T USE (ALL) THE FACILITIES? IT'S A WIN WIN SITUATION ON THEIR PART TO CLOSE THE POOL AREA BECAUSE; (1.)THEY SAVE MONEY FOR THE TIME THE POOL AREA IS CLOSED (MOST MORNINGS, & AFTERNOONS,) BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE TO PAY A LIFE GUARD! (2.)ALSO, FACTOR IN THE MONEY THEY SAVE FOR POOL CHEMICALS! SAD

Made a great place to have a pool party kids had a blast. Workers came in several times to see if we needed anything. And when we had her sisters birthday party there they even let us hang a huge banner on the front of the building

Experiencia positiva: We have my son's basketball practice here and it very nice. I can not really comment on the rest of the facility as we are in the gym the entire time. The staff are very kind from the little interaction we have experience. I can easily see this place being a 5 out of 5. The place is always busy and everyone looks to be having a good time. If we lived closer this would be a place to look at getting membership.

Experiencia positiva: Ive been working out at the pointe pretty much my entire life but i have to say im dissapointed with the size of the free weight area, at the moment there is still only ONE bench press and ONE squat rack. The smith machine is unable to be used for God knows how long which only makes the space even smaller to have a good work out. Are we trying to keep up with the times of newer equipment? I feel thats why more people are going to other gyms because the pointe is lacking in some areas and equipment.

Experiencia negativa: Poor communication to gym closing for maintenance. I’m a regular that goes 5-6 times a week and had no idea. Their response is, we put some flyers up. - I enjoy the gym it’s my time to go and work on myself. I apologize I don’t read every flyer that is up. Most of them tend to be about events that I’m not interested in. I just don’t think that was a valiant effort especially with all the ways to get in touch with people now a days. A simple, “hello, just a friendly reminder the gym will be closed Thursday and Friday this week have a good workout,” when you walk in would have been awesome customer service with minimal effort. Minimal effort wasn’t achieved.

Experiencia negativa: We booked a birthday party here. Paid for it in full and had to cancel a week and a half out. After 4 phone calls and managers telling me that canceling a party was above them and they would call me back, I finally found out it had been canceled without a phone call to me. I asked how my refund would come since I paid with a credit card and even the manager in charge couldn't tell me. I will never book a party there again, completely disappointed at the lack of knowledge.
