Experiencia positiva: The kids swim class ratios have expanded from 5 participants to 7 or or 8 for one instructor This is too many for adequate instruction. My son is in youth 3 and he has digressed from last youth 3 class as the instructor lets him coast and clearly doesn’t know level he was at when finishing last class. Instructors should be given info on each kid when possible

Experiencia negativa: I never faced such a horrible, rude, unprofessional care for their members. I was treated like, I was coming for free. We have been member with Rush around for 3-4 years with my family. We paid not a cheap price for our membership of 5 people. After all this time, When I went to clear the misunderstanding for my membership freeze or cancellation. The manager of membership department HEATHER JONES. Instead of trying to solve the problem and ruling the situation, which caused by their staff. Blamed and humiliated me, pointing for the discount which I never asked for. Saying that I should be grateful that Rush Copley by mistake gave the old price and I got discount of it, which I NEVER EVER ASKED! Doing the mistake and blaming your members, instead of saying sorry and apologizing!!! Thinking to bring this to place where more people can read and be aware of such a customer service.

Experiencia negativa: This gym is gross, over priced, & members harass others with unalive threats. I has harassed & threatened back in May that made me cancel my membership because they sided with the aggressor instead of me the victim. I'm still getting a notification that I need to pay them for canceling my membership. No one calls back. I've been calling about this since May 14th 2024 & it's July 2024 now. I never seen a gym that lets black mold, custy towels, broken lockers, a foggy pool, rusted equipment, & aggressive people happen in the gym. At 90 plus dollars a month, this place shouldn't look worse than plant fitness. At this point I'm looking at an attorney to press charges against the members that harassed me & to get the health department involved. This isn't a quality gym!!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: This place is filthy & smells so bad like garbage n cum. Has broken lockers & members are so rude. Also there’s mold in the men’s locker room. They have the nerve to change $92/month & to nickel n dime you for every little thing. This is a $20/month gym at best. I’m so happy I didn’t join. The employees act like they work for a luxury gym but by it’s no better than planet fitness in quality. I’m already at a luxury gym (life time) & this gym is no where near luxury. It’s a ghetto gym at best because jail is cleaner than here.

Experiencia negativa: This place isn’t worth $90/month, it’s a $10-20/month gym at best. It’s filthy, smells like garbage & like sewage, not one employee cares to clean the place, they charge for everything if you’re a member or not (example, $30 for a class for members & $50 to nonmembers), & the towels smell like no one cleaned them in months. I’m happy I canceled my membership & went to another gym that actually cleans & offers amenities like deodorant for free. When I canceled my membership, attitude from the staff…I’m assuming that they lose commission when you cancel if you’re not there for a year minimum. I did try calling the manager to be pushed to voicemail every time without a call back too.

Experiencia negativa: This place is not a customer friendly place now. I’ve been coming here for a long time, the receptionist at the front they always greet you with smile except for one . Last year she started or 2 yrs ago if I’m not mistaken there is a new receptionist and she is the only one does not greet customer or sometimes she just chooses the one she will greet.. one time I said good morning and she just look at me and ignore me. She left how rude. I don’t know her name. I just wish they have a name tag. I’ve been coming and paying monthly for 5 years now at this gym. And ever since she was employed here she never greet or smile at me even though I say good morning or smile at her. She has a very poor customer service skills. I think she works here for free gym only, but not dedicated for her job. That kind of attitude she does not deserve to work around customers. Now I’m still thinking if I would recommend this place to my friends or relatives. Or maybe I will if she is no longer working here.

Experiencia positiva: This is a pretty big facility with multiple sports and workout options. To name a few: Workout machines Climbing wall Basketball Volleyball Table tennis Tennis And of course pickleball since that’s the biggest craze these days Overall, it’s a nice facility and definitely worth having a membership if you are a resident or at least visiting at hug if you are not. Although I did find the facility to be a bit old and dated in parts. The only new and shiny places I saw were the tennis and Pickleball courts.

Experiencia negativa: Meant for only Kids. Highly oversold to the employees of the adjacent Hospital in the form of Family packages. There's absolutely no written communication so that the narrative can be twisted. The therapy pool lacks lanes so let alone lane discipline and is a wild wild west. In the exact words of senior citizens who want to work out in the therapy pool but never step in that area, 'Unprofessional and a Disneyland'. Not meant for adults. Even after so much escalation, they have absolutely no interest to retain members that aren't either kids or employees of the adjacent Hospital.

Experiencia negativa: Worst place to play pickleball, I was waitlisted and got an email saying my spot is open now. I drive 30 minutes and get there just for them to say they have my spot to someone else even though I was first on the waitlist. The people they have at the front desk are also very slow. Didn’t get any apology or anything, when I asked if I can still play they responded with “sorry, you are going to have to go home”

Experiencia fantástica: Rush copley healthplex is the location for our daughter's physical therapy services provided by BDI pediatric therapy at the pool on the premises. While I wish these services were closer to Elmhurst, I must say this gym has overall been a good place for these therapies. The aquatic staff is wonderful and kind and I have enjoyed my interactions with them through the years. The staff at the counter checking clients in are very friendly and remember regular visitors- even us- although we are there just once a week. The gym never seems too full, although the pool can certainly be populated with varied activities at the 5:00 hour with offerings of swim lessons and classes and water aerobics. When I have been to earlier therapy times, the pool is pretty quiet. There is a family changing room for children, which leaves the women's and men's changing room fairly quiet. The women's changing room has showers, a sauna, a hot tub and a cold pool, and a TV near a spa center. My only wish is the ability to use the pool amenities myself while my daughter is in therapy, but this is not included if kids are there through the therapy, which seems a little silly; I of course do not come more than once a week as I live pretty far away, but my understanding is I can pay for each visit if I should choose.

Experiencia fantástica: Literally couldn't say better things about this facility. I've been a member since 2016 and have always felt so welcomed and comfortable working out! I've been a member at several other gyms, and the healthplex by far is the cleanest, and most welcoming staff and members. Godwin from personal training is great! Along with Mike from tennis, and Kevin satler from aquatics. As an avid triathloner, Kevin is always helping me improve my technique when he's not busy with lessons or office work. Overall highly recommend this club !

Experiencia negativa: Joined end of July and purchased a bonus package of massages. Impossible to schedule one if you work due to limited scheduling outside of work hours. Finally get one scheduled and wait over a month. Show up only to be told no record of it and someone else has that time now. Got an apology. No attempt to rebook or look at scheduling another. Supposed to have 2 lap lanes for swimming g open. Lessons took over with an Aquatics class leaving one lane. Another "sorry about that". For amount paid for membership, I was expecting a bit more.

After we went there to meet her front deak ppl allow us to go up to meet her..but labor department nurses was so rude.as soon we entered in the lady on desk with no smile with dull face she look at us and ask us questions. Why you are here.when we told her that we are here to meet my sister.with rude way she stop us and she started saying we dont allowed visitor's.I told her that she is my sister and she needs us even after that they did not allow us to go to see my sister.after that tgey decided only 1person can go to meet her but no one else can go.in end they allow only my mom to visit my sister.THIS IS NOT RIGHT.IN THIS KIND SITUATION PATIENT NEED THIER FAMILY AND THIER SUPPORT. BUT PPL WORKING OVER HERE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT PATIENT EMOTIONS. THEY JUST STICK WITH SOMETHING WHICH DONT MAKE ANY SENSE TO ME.WHY WE BOTH CAN NOT MEET MY SISTER?THEY SAID BCUS OF COVID..REALLY MY SISTER WAS WITH US THIS MORNING AND SUDDENLY NOW THEY STOPPING US TO MEET MY SISTER. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS WORSEN HOSPITAL TO ANYBODY. Experiencia fantástica: The Heathplex has something for everybody, including the best "Kids Active Club" I've ever seen at a gym. Our kids love it when we go work out, so they can go to the Kids Actie Club and do either arts and crafts or play in the dedicated gym that is just for them! I'm not a big tennis person, but they have 8 indoor courts. My favorite aspects of the Healthplex are the indoor track and the amazing pool.

Experiencia negativa: Too outdated equipments and facility. Underserved to be promoted as premium gym, far below average places. Don’t sign any long term contracts before actually using it. That is what they pushed me to do.

Experiencia fantástica: Rush Colley Healthplex is easy to get to once you turn into the Copley campus. They have lots of parking. Parking was close to the door. The signs that led me to the Therapy room is well marked. The staff explained the directions well and are friendly and informative. It was overall a good trip.
