Experiencia fantástica: It's a well equipped gym. Bar bells, workout machines treadmills, etc. Everything is clean and well maintained. Staff is very helpful. There are classes and shower facilities. A little tricky to get into and hard to make a left upon leaving.

Experiencia fantástica: We switched to WNC Barbell after going to Gold's for a while. We were specifically looking for a lifting coach for personal training, and were pleased to find several options here, each of whom had a wide breadth of specialized knowledge. It's a smaller space than Gold's, which I actually prefer, there's still plenty of equipment options-- and all the staff I've interacted with have been very friendly and helpful, including the massage therapists whose offices are on site. We really appreciate having a gym that's focused on weight lifting (and not just cross fit) that feels low-key and local.

Experiencia negativa: Needed to cancel my membership as I obtained a personal gym as to avoid the monthly payments. They took $75 as a payment and caused my car payment to bounce back, I had to transfer from my savings and now don’t have enough money for lunch this week.

It’s so spacious, has plenty of quality equipment, and everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. This is a legit gym for people who want to put in serious work. Great atmosphere all around.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give this gym a negative stars review, I would. Their customer service is terrible. I have been getting mail for Andy Reed for over a year. I have marked it “return to sender”, called this location multiple times, left multiple messages for Greg(?) to return my call with no response from anyone. None of these actions have worked. I am still getting these letters. I stopped by today (3/13/21) to try to resolve the matter. After asking to speak with the person responsible for billing, a man said that was him. After explaining my situation, I was immediately met with aggression by the guy on duty. He told me I needed to speak to the owner. When I told him I already tried that, he responded “I don’t know what to tell you.” As loathe as I am to say this, I can’t recommend supporting this local business. A corporate business (like Gold’s Gym or the YMCA) would have resolved the issue immediately. **** Once again, I have called your business with no one answering the phone. I have reached out many different times, through several different ways, and this issue is still not resolved! It's very simple, stop sending me mail for someone that I don't know. It's really that simple.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is perfect. 24/7 access with your own key FOB, dry sauna, showers, lockers, and all the equipment your heart desires. Cheaper than you would think to join and never regretted a moment of being there. I never got a training session from Mike, but seen him working with a ton of happy clientele over the past few weeks. If you’re looking for a great gym, would 100% recommend checking this place out

I like the fact that it's locally-owned by a small business owner and not some corporate behemoth. The gym has plenty of weights and plenty of machines and areas to do stretches and cardio and such. The staff and patrons are friendly. The 24/7 option is great so you can come anytime. I definitely recommend this gym!

Experiencia fantástica: So get this I had this girlfriend right I bought her a membership but I stole her from Colorado I was like she might leave to the owner of the gym and he put on the agreement if she leaves then will void out her side of the contract which I was paying for so she left I waited about a month just to see if she would come back She never came back So he voided out that part of the contract. Think about how crazy amazing beautiful and awesome that is.

Tons of free weights...lots of cardiovascular machines..lots of gr8 people...and gr8 employees..I had to drop out for a health problem..I hope to join back soon..it's just a gr8 place to get healthy..

Experiencia fantástica: WNC Barbell is a great facility for those who are looking to really concentrate and focus on their lifts without distraction. This is what you'd call an old school facility with no with frills and advertising. The gym consists of a large number of weighted cable machines and a large number of free weights. All of which, are well maintained. Surprising to see, especially with a cable row machine that sits on the floor. You feel like you stepped back in time. There are a good handful of treadmills, bike machines and ellipticals. I know the facility offers taekwondo and a silver sneakers program, as well as massage therapy (recommended). I chose this facility because it is not a flashy franchise with all the added extras you don't need in a membership. It has all I need and it is also open 24 hours. Weights and cardio.

My 18 months expired a month an half after nc closed all the gyms due the COVID19. i tried to start the membership again and they said i have to pay the inscription fee again. They said because I waited too much on renewing it.. So how long its been since they allowed gyms to reopen .?? Oh they wantednme to be paying with the gym being closed?

Experiencia positiva: WNC Barbell is a great local gym with something for most folks. It has a large free weight area, machines for those with limited mobility or those inclined to a safer method for weight bearing exercise and treadmills for indoor walking and running. There’s also spin machines and limited programmable exercise bikes. There’s a padded floor exercise area and an adjacent martial arts school as well as a classroom for senior exercise classes or other activities. You can even access the equipment 24 - 7 for those working odd hour shifts or other schedule restrictions. A qualified personal trainer and licensed exercise physiologist is available. It accepts Silver Sneakers which is a plus for us!

The outside might give the impression it is just a shed, but it actually is a REALLY good facility and worth a visit and or a membership. Good experience.

Clean with a good selection of weights, plus there is a martial arts following here so if you like to spar you have that option.
