Experiencia fantástica: This place has really done a 180 in the past 6months. The new people on the staff are great, the two young men at the front desk Hunter and Josh (who is also their new Personal Trainer) were very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. The New GM with the long hair (can’t remember his name) was also super nice and attentive! Place is super clean, and plenty of equipment. I’m always on the road from state to state and have only bought a few day passes but if I lived in Asheboro this would be my home base of a gym.

Experiencia fantástica: I like Workout Anytime. It's a nice gym, the staff is usually on top of things and they even started keeping staff later so there's no young individuals goofing around. I wish the area was bigger but for what it is. You can't get a more convenient spot in town.

Experiencia negativa: I have been going here since January 2023. They have 2 stair masters and 1 has been broke since day 1. There has been a sign on it since my first day and well guess what? 12 months later.....still not fixed same sign on the machine. Also in the beginning I was charged for a premium membership which I did not sign up for and was never refunded any money as promised. I actually just cancelled my membership last week. Keep in mind my fees were drafted on the 17th, I cancelled on the 18th. That should have given me the full month, but NO cancels that day. Highly do not recommend this gym!

Called them three times asking them to cancel my membership, the manager assured he cancelled it but they keep charging me the monthly fee. Called them again and now I have to go back in person to sign the cancellation form, claiming they don't have the one I signed months ago. I told them I'm out of state and it's not possible for me to go, but they say there's nothing they can do to help me.

Experiencia negativa: How does a gym with "no commitments" charge me late fees? I might understand this if they didn't deactivate my card for entry during the non payment time. When I call the charges were eventually removed. Week later I am charged agained. What does one need to do to cancle being charged?

Experiencia negativa: Staff is unhelpful I called because my account is frozen with them and they still have taken out money this isn’t the first time either. They tell me they will call back after calling billing and they don’t. I have waited and called back for a week now still have not got the refund. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS GYM!

This man has changed my life, enhanced my fitness goals, and has shown me endless support, inside and outside the gym. He inspires not only I, but all of his clients. He has helped me avoid surgery which has been an ongoing issue with me for years. Words can’t express how grateful I am for his wisdom, support, and continuous encouragement. He’s not just a trainer in my eyes, but a mentor.

Experiencia negativa: I want to join again but I feel it’s only fair if it was $15 month. It’s smaller than Planet fitness. Less equipment. Last time they charged me hidden fees and I had to go thru a process to cancel my membership. It was a nightmare bc I did pay a cancellation fee also. It was a nightmare and I don’t want to have to go through that again. Still looking for a another gym. This ain’t it though hope their policy has changed.

Experiencia positiva: Been going here since 2016. The staff here are really friendly, and it's a really nice looking gym. It can get pretty packed here on weekday afternoons and evenings though, which means either awkwardly waiting for someone to get off or just using a different machine. I've come across some really weird and creepy customers here. Although it's clean, I don't understand why they never wipe the bars and dumbells (if they don't). Anything a business can do that their competitors aren't gives them an edge. They used to give surveys to their customers over emails, but I haven't received one in years (perhaps because I complained about something). Overall not a bad spot.

Experiencia positiva: Very straight forward gym and friendly staff. I like it but the first 3 treadmills i got on were messed up and wpuld skip while i was running. Also wouldnt go over 7 mph. This was my first day so hopefully when i go back they have changed them.

Experiencia negativa: I did not find out until the day I tried to cancel my membership months into going that this gym supposedly offers different memberships at different price points. I was only offered workout anytime and 24 access for $30/month and made to believe this was the only option. As their spiel is no contract, I did not go home with a contract nor was I emailed one but I gave the guy working my recurring payment information. I asked questions and was assured I could cancel easily at any time. LOL it’s now been a good month, a good 7 or more calls, and four trips up to Workout Anytime Asheboro not to mention multiple emails and I am still waiting on receiving my proof of paying an extra month that was never agreed to as well as cancelling my membership. The head manager is unprofessional and unhelpful. I was given the run around for weeks and unfortunately it still seems I am. Talking to people and reading more reviews I am seeing so many others are going through the same thing. Please spare yourself the stress and lack of respect for your time and energy.

Experiencia negativa: The gym itself is fine, however, like other reviews I went in to cancel my membership (November or December) and I was told I would be charged for the current month since it was the middle of the cycle - not a problem. Come to find out, my membership was NOT cancelled like I requested and I had been getting charged for months. I went back in a second time (May) to cancel and advise that my membership should have been cancelled months ago, somehow they had no notes of that. The manager, I assume, advise they would cancel my membership immediately and refund me 2 months worth and the refund would generate within 2-3 business days - I agreed. It’s been over a week and still no refund. Avoid getting a membership here, it’s not worth the hassle when you go to cancel it.

If you want to hate life i highly recommend the stair machines. The weights are too heavy but somebody has to lift them, right? The ice cream machine is always broken...

Experiencia positiva: I liked having our memberships here but it was inconvenient for me to always have to drive to town to workout. When I tried to cancel it was difficult to stop the payment drafts and took 5 months before they finally stopped drafting my account.

Experiencia negativa: I have left this gym in September of 2018 to report to my next duty command in Pensacola, FL. Been in Florida since then , and still being charged for my account I called and try to cancel twice. I’ve left two emails and no once has responded to my email or calls since then.

Experiencia fantástica: Great 24hr gym and is never too crowded. Dumbbells at 100lbs/free weights. It's a nice environment for an awesome pump. Everyone is polite and shows no discrimination. The staff is very helpful. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Experiencia fantástica: I came into town to visit my family during the Christmas holidays and was looking for a gym to workout in for about 10 days. I made calls to 2 others gyms who only offered their regular daily drop in fee. I called Workout Anytime and they accommodated my request at a reasonable rate for a 10 day pass. The staff are friendly, helpful and take pride of the facility and equipment. If I'm coming back into town or if I know of anyone coming into Asheboro for more than 5 days I'm going to recommend Workout Anytime to them. Thank you Hunter Aaron, and Alexus!

The general manager/trainer Hunter made myself and a friend feel very comfortable from the time we walked in to the time he trained us. He customised our work outs to fit our needs and to work around our "disabilities".
