Arnold Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Experiencia negativa: We walked in and had the most brief introduction and were told “I’m not a salesman, soooo.” My kids have extensive Jiu Jitsu training and the lack of organization in this class was insane. The instructor walked away from us and sat on the floor, scrolled his phone a bit and sat there for the entire 45 min that we watched the class. If you or your kids want a structured, disciplined gym, that teaches solid technique, this is NOT it!

Experiencia fantástica: Kirk Huff has taken my daughter to an entirely different level of competition. This gym not only strives to make you a better athlete but a better person. It’s not about making money, it’s about jujitsu and taking you to the next level. It’s like a family. A family I’m proud to say my daughter is a part of!

Experiencia fantástica: Professor Huff has created a community of people that care about training and growing as martial artists. He cares about each one individually and their goals in the sport of jiujitsu as well as outside the gym. Both Professor Huff and Coach Dakota Zimmerman have created an environment where I feel I can be myself without being judge, they both have helped me grow as a jiujitsu athlete , student, and friend. If you are a parent looking for a way to teach your children self-confidence, athletic development and or self-defense, this place is a must. Coach Dakota has developed a program that will help mold your children into the best versions of themselves. If you can I recommend you come and give Arnold BJJ a try, could change your families lives.

Experiencia fantástica: Best place for your kid to learn how to do self defense. Price is affordable. Instructor are professional. They don't give belt unless you have earned it.

Experiencia fantástica: Arnold BJJ had been an amazing place for my son Clyde to train. The kids coach, Dakota Zimmerman is a world class purple belt and amazing with the kids. Under her guidance, Clyde went from knowing nothing, to being one of the top ranked kids in Missouri for Fuji tournaments and he is only 10 years old. Clyde has made many great friends at Arnold BJJ and we look forward to every class. I now train there as well and the adult classes are amazing too. Kirk Huff, who is the owner and teaches the adult classes, is a world class coach and has trained people to excel at even the highest levels of competition. If you are looking for a great place to learn BJJ, you won't find a spot better than Arnold BJJ.

Experiencia negativa: Not for kids. Kids class is unstructured and instructor helped my kids the first class and then they were on their own. My son was paired with someone 2x his size and then left alone. They have 4 year olds in with the 13-14 year old kid’s. My sons are 7 and 9. When you put your kid in something like this you expect structure but there is no. She has no control of the class. My sons were literally coming to me during the class asking what to do and arguing about how to do something. The male instructor was texting on his phone and didn’t bother himself to try to show the kids how to do the move. Unorganized and just not good with kids. My 7year old son was crying during class because he couldn’t get assistance and neither instructor was aware enough to help. Don’t go here and waste your money!!!

Experiencia fantástica: This gym has completely changed my life and continues to do so everyday! Everyone is treated the same, and the focus is hard-work pays off; in competitions, in mental health, in physical health, and in life!!

Experiencia fantástica: Great coaches, great members. The environment is welcoming and friendly. The expectation is work hard and great things will happen. Great place for mma, grappling or just wanting to get in shape. Would highly recommend.
