He has dedicated his whole life to this sport and it shows in the quality of Jiu Jitsu he teaches. He articulates the technique extremely well so everyone can comprehend. Professor Hensley would also never ask you to do anything he wouldn’t do, whether it’s in training or competition he stays very active in this sport.

He instructs his students in a manner that allows both beginners and experienced practitioners attain new levels of knowledge and performance - from beginners learning new techniques, to experienced practitioners learning small details that can be implemented to greatly improve their game. Each class is comprised of a well rounded group of individuals, from beginners and hobbyists, to dedicated and experienced competitors, providing the opportunity for anyone to fit in, regardless of their age or physical abilities. His coaches are well versed in his training and provide superb instruction in their respective classes. Experiencia fantástica: Phenomenal Brazilian Jiu Jitsu School and best in class instruction. I started BJJ in Houston and was worried I wouldn’t find a quality school in a smaller town. That worry quickly went away after trying a couple of different schools and landing at Hensley. Coach Nick is an incredibly thorough instructor and takes his time with every student, my training partners are fantastic. Great environment and I’m there every chance I can get.
