I never like going to gym facilities before but this place makes you feel like family. The group classes I have attended are fantastic and the instructors definitely know what they’re doing. They guide you and motivate you and you see results.

Experiencia fantástica: Joined so the kids would have someplace to play basketball. Nice big court with 6 hoops. Most nights 3 hoops will be taken by 2 to 4 selfish 70 year olds who can barely move playing pickleball. The other 3 will be taken by people playing 3 on 3 basketball who insist on using the middle hoop so the other 2 can't be used. If Richard Simmons married a nursing home the baby would be pickleball. Every single pickleball player on earth could get just as much exercise in a port a potty. What are the politics behind this abomination?

Experiencia negativa: Oh man. I used to love working out here….until one day a member yelled at me for using a chair to hold a medical device, you know, because it’s a chair. While not the gyms fault the behavior of one member has made me feel that uncomfortable working out there as a disabled person. Amazing facility and wonderful staff….just one experience to make it horrible.

Experiencia fantástica: One of my happy places and can’t believe I didn’t find this gym sooner! Racquetball courts, full basketball/pickle ball court, warm water therapy pool, hot tub, free fitness classes, an indoor walking path, AND free childcare while you exercise! Can’t beat it!

Experiencia fantástica: The Centre Club changed my entire way of working out. I participated in their Shamrock Shuffle running group plus their triathlon groups. I had never done a triathlon before and now I'm addicted. I've since moved out of the area and can no longer belong, but it is the thing I miss the most. The people are fantastic! I've taken almost all of their classes and they are tough, plus their swimming group really took my swimming to a new level. I would recommend this gym to anyone. It's not about price, its about quality and there are just not enough things I can say about how great this place is.

Experiencia negativa: Excellent facility with clean lockers and showers. Disrespectful front desk staff. Rules for members change on a fly as during Covid and when paying extra for a child is ok to take to pool but once added to membership the old lady at front desk opened the rule book and schooled me well. Unfortunately I can not be disrespected in this way regardless of how great your facility is you need people skills to work with people.

Experiencia fantástica: I really like the gym . They have an indoor track and lots of equipment but I especially love the Zumba classes on Wed.. The instructor is very good . The class is fun and energetic!

Yes, price is on the higher end than most other gyms however, the facility is kept up nicely. Staff is very polite and attentive, clean lockers and plenty of exercise equipment. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I just love Center Club!! Everything is incredibly clean and well maintained. Even the pools (yes, plural) are probably maintained and not over-chlorinated (like so many others recently.) As a larger person, I've always felt welcomed (not shamed) and encouraged. The facilities are accomidating and plentiful. The staff is the same - friendly and welcoming. The racketball courts are fun, and so are the boxing bags. This place is a little pricey, but not out of bounds for the area and for what you get. I've never "loved" a gym before, this place is something I cherish.

It’s great to see that most of the amenities are back. The whirlpool will be great when it’s done! Sometimes you just have to wait for good things to occur. Amazing and friendly staff, amazing equipment, full size basketball court, nice weight room, upstairs track to run along, zumba/dance section, pretty big sized lap pool and medicine pool, hot tub, nice locker rooms, everything is clean with towels and drinks on standby. Everything you need to workout is at this gym; 10/10.

Experiencia positiva: So disappointed in the Centre Club. It has previously been one of the best fitness centers in the area and well worth the fairly high price tag. However even before the pandemic it started falling apart and not getting fixed. My personal gripe is the women’s jacuzzi, which has been broken for about a year and a half now. Seriously? The club is owned by Advocate health. They don’t have the cash to fix stuff? Keeping social distance was convenient for keeping it closed. But now there is no answer as to when it might be fixed. I’m sure COVID has been tough on the fitness business. But if you want people to come back, fix your broken club.

Experiencia fantástica: Simply it’s the best compared to all the gyms in this area. It shares no flaws with gyms in the area. It has courts, swimming, and tons of workout equitment.

Experiencia positiva: Good equipment, make sure you lay a clean towel whenever you change. The locker rooms are all carpet so any changing clothes and expect your socks to be soaked.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a member at several gyms in the area and this is my favorite. Staff is very nice and there is a lot of equipment to choose from. I have also enjoyed the classes. The shower facilities and steam room are amazing because they use eucalyptus oil, which smells amazing and is so relaxing. I love coming here after work!

Experiencia positiva: It needs maintenance in the steam room and the men's lockers need cleaning, carpet is very dirty! Change the Whirlpool water, the warm pool and the big pool. I'll give him the rest of the Stars when everything is done!

Experiencia positiva: Fairly nice gym, but very poor maintenance. It took around three weeks to repair the lights in the racquetball courts. There is a drinking fountain that hasn’t been working for 6 months. It appears management does not inspect as sometimes trash will be in the same spot for over a week.

Experiencia positiva: Maintenance of equipment is average at best. Multiple dumbbells in the weight room missing for months. Not a lot of free weight equipment in general. LOTS of cardio machines and a nice pool. For being a more pricey membership, patron gym etiquette is very poor. Not really the fault of the staff, but multiple people do the "I'm using that" routine when on one machine but under the impression that their towel or water bottle sitting by itself on some other piece of equipment means that the bench has been claimed for their own personal use. This is all the more absurd when there is not a lot of weight equipment in general. On the positive side, the staff is always polite and it is very clean.

Experiencia negativa: This review that I’m posting is about the policy in regards to the massage cancellation appointment. I get it you need 24 hours of notice to cancel a massage appointment and unfortunately work schedule changed . I called this morning an hour and a half before my massage time. Having said that, the massage therapist should be in the facility for that particular hours fot the customer in case customer scheduled changes because that particular spot was paid for anyways . If after the customer spot time reserved ended then she can do whatever she wants . After thinking of getting charge for a massage that I can’t get so I made an adjustment 30 minutes before my appointment I called and I said I got the chance to leave work just to get my massage . I have exerted all efforts to change work schedule just to the point maybe I get a get a 30 minutes massge instead of 60 minutes massge , but they said my appointment was already canceled the massage therapist is doing her errands now . So I said now that I am available to fulfill my appointment then the massage therapist is not in the facility. I tried my best to at least to get a masssge but unfortunately it’s cancelled and the massage therapist is not there . I really don’t think that this is fair . I just gave away 60 minutes worth of massage money because I caused inconvenience for the therapist . What about my inconvenience to leave work and changed all my schedule as a customer and inconvenience for me as well. I guessed I’m just a customer and it’s not that important to consider my inconvenience. No one is perfect and people makes mistake I just wished the management of center club should give grace to customers who made mistakes ones . And I think if the time slot is paid then the therapist should be in the facility to wait until that time ends because she gets paid. I will never get a massage in this facility. Very poor judgment and poor policy implementation. I questioned them if they really % implement policy all the time to all customers. We are humans we tend to sometimes brake rules due to uncertain circumstances and I think a better judgement should have been made to those people who are honest and had sudden unfortunate situations . I wonder if person who had a death in the family and forgot to call would be in. the same case . Talk about consistency . ... Now I’m thinking to cancel my membership in this facility and go somewhere else .

Experiencia fantástica: This is a great fitness center. It is identical (utilities) as it's sister centre in Libertyville. Staff is friendly, lots of equipment, and very clean. All classes are included with membership and there is unlimited towel service. One of my favorite things about this place is that it isn't ever crowded (in my opinion). I have never had to wait for a pice of equipment and only a few minutes for a set of free weights.

They took my signature also didn't verbally tell me it was a contract only after I signed it. I'm going to corporate and filing a complaint on a specific staff member. But for now I'm going to keep going because I'm F**king pay 75$ a month for this over rated place.

Experiencia negativa: Stay away its hard to get out of contract. They bill my account for $98 every month and I dont live in Illinois anymore. Now they want a cancellation fee of $159.
