Gleason Performance Training

Experiencia negativa: This review has to do with my interaction with director of the meet, Ryan Gleason, and my power lifting competition. My issue was for a particular meet on 1/13/2024. I placed 2nd and there were no medals to be handed out. Competitors were told there were issues with medals being ordered due to some war going on and lack of materials but they were going to be sent to each person by mail. I was patient and eventually contacted Ryan by email on 3/19/24 to which I was told he had issues with mailing medals due to them ripping out of the envelopes. He then asked if I’m local to the gym. I responded that I was not local and hopeful to keep an eye out in the mail- I did not receive any response or medal after that. Some time passed, I contacted the National office for Powerlifting on 5/22/24, noting that I have not received my medal and they let me know they were going to reach out to Ryan and give me an update. I didn’t hear anything from the national office and reached back out again for an update on 7/16/24. They told me he was to make contact with me back in May, however no emails on my end. Now on 7/29/24, the national office put all 3 of us in an email chain, and Ryan finally responded that he would send one out, and send tracking information when I responded with my address. I provided him with my information, however no tracking information was sent and again, no response from Ryan. I never got that medal. My interaction or lack there of, with Ryan was unacceptable as you’re a meet director, and should hold himself to a higher standard. We all pay GOOD money to be part of a fun, and exciting day with friends, family and guests. If you say you’re going to do something, then do it. It’s a shame this was my experience, and I hope to shed light to anyone who thinks about signing up with him as this may be their experience as well.

Experiencia fantástica: Great facility, equipment, owner/staff, and atmosphere. Any serious strength athletes (powerlifters, strongmen/women) or sport athletes that need a decked out facility for their training look no further! You'd be crazy not to swing by.

Experiencia fantástica: This September will be my 3-year anniversary with GPT. Ryan (the owner) is very knowledgeable, encouraging, and hands-on. He also employs some great trainers, who like Ryan, are interested in helping their clients become better athletes, and work through obstacles/injuries. There's also a great network of professionals to help us (nutrition, PT, etc). On any given day in the gym, we have lifters (of course), but also baseball players, swimmers, rugby players, strongmen/women, you name it- and of all ages and levels, too.

Ryan, the owner, is super knowledgeable and always helpful with any questions I ever have. The equipment is top notch and everything you will ever need in strengths sports or to gain strength in general.

Experiencia fantástica: Updating my review. It's an incredibly welcoming environment with a great community, fantastic equipment and trainers. Great place for anyone looking to improve physically. I previusly would go to a gym for a few weeks, have no idea what i was doing, give up and go back a couple years later to try again. If i hadn't found someplace like GPT i wouldn't have stuck with it. The atmosphere and I've training made all the difference. I have been consistently going here for 5 years now.

World class coaching, nutrition, a certified athletic trainer, and a DPT all under one roof. The gym is filled with competition level equipment for powerlifting, weightlifting, and strongman paired with a friendly and supportive staff.

Experiencia fantástica: 4 Competition racks (3 eleiko), over 1600kg in competition plates plus a million racks, platforms and benches (if you know, you know). Apart from the hardware, this gym has the most friendly and uplifting environment you can find.

Owner Ryan Gleason and all of his staff are super knowledgeable and take a legitimate interest in your progress whether you’re a strength athlete or just looking to stay physically fit. There is also more than enough top of the line equipment and racks to make sure that you’re not standing around waiting. There is a true sense of community at Gleason’s. Everyone at the gym takes a genuine interest in getting to know you as a person and not just a lifter.

Experiencia fantástica: I originally started going to GPT as a way to fulfill my "physical fitness" elective requirement at Westconn. I stuck around after the elective was done because I loved the outlet GPT provided me. Lifting is a great way to lower stress, and Ryan's plans are always fun and challenging. The environment here is great, and the staff and members are all super friendly. I would rate this as a great place to train.
