Experiencia positiva: The facility is nice, but Ballocity is a bit of a rip off to pay full price when none of the ball launchers work. That would have been good to know. The kids were most excited about the launchers and if those were working I think it would have been pretty cool.

Experiencia fantástica: My friends and I all live in different cities, and every year we make it a point to get together and rent a basketball court to play. This year, our usual court rental canceled with only three weeks’ notice, so we were scrambling to find a replacement. Andrew P. completely turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a smooth and stress-free experience. Andrew was incredibly responsive, answered all of my questions promptly, and was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. His professionalism and willingness to help made a huge difference. On the day of the event, the staff was just as impressive. They escorted all of my guests to the court, made sure everything was set up properly, and even ran the scoreboard for us. The level of service exceeded our expectations. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish, and we will absolutely be using this facility every year moving forward. Highly recommend!

Experiencia positiva: I wanted to try out the climbing wall. It was a great little wall to scratch my itch while visiting annapolis and very grateful to have it so close to my hotel. The wall has realistic rock features including a nice hand/finger crack. Also, there were 3 autobelays so I could climb all routes with no partners. Friendly staff too. I only doc one star because the hours changed on me mid day so I had to leave and return

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful community center and gym with well-organized equipment that is clean and tidy. The walking circle is well-laid out and easy to track #miles covered. What I love is the greeting you receive upon arrival - always friendly and always helpful, if there is a need. These women go out of their way to assist and answer any questions. I like the variety of stations whereby any exercise routine can be executed. They even offer personal trainers who, for a fee, will personalize exercise routines to meet certain goals. Give them a try; you’ll not be disappointed!

Experiencia positiva: Local recreation center with substantial facilities. Pay attention to policies and pricing - staff are sticklers (but otherwise friendly). Lots to do. Parking is not an issue. Would return if in the area and needed to work out or if a special event intrigues.

Experiencia negativa: Their camp is terrible and very unprofessional including the camp director (LAKEISHA SIMMONS)DO NOT LEAVE YOUR KIDS THERE!!! The teens sit on their phone while they are being paid to watch your kids, apparently they were all on their phones or just not paying attention the day my daughters were both injured on two different occasions and no one could explain to me what happened!! once I reported the incident the director her response to it was what do you want me to do smh this camp is a joke I had to rush and leave work bc one of the staff members called me in a panic bc another kid threw a football in my child’s face when I got there my child was crying in pain with a ice pack on her face and a HUGE KNOT ON HER FOREHEAD that was the last day I sent my kids there previous to that both my daughter informed me that the same kids tried to drown them multiple times at the swimming pool and no staff stepped in to stop it if you truly care about your kids don’t put them in danger and send them there!

Tons of fitness and community related things to do for all ages. Very clean, well stocked with modern fitness equipment and tons of things for kids to do.

Experiencia positiva: Nice resource for the community with a walking track and exercise equipment including free weights. I always have allergy flare-ups after working out here that I don’t experience at other gyms so if you are sensitive to air quality this might not be your spot. But if that’s not a big concern for you it’s worth getting a membership here to work out affordably.

Experiencia positiva: The rec center is very clean and I love that but the front desk employees are rude almost every time I enter they will not respond to my Hello. I find this very disrespectful. I know we all have hard days but this is a daily occurrence. Pip Moyer should hire friendly people who want to work there. I left a comment on the board about this today and after I worked out I checked the board and my comment was gone. That seems a little shady to me.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the gym I attended on a daily basis but how this is acceptable ? We pay for our membership to have the track occupied by parents and kids screaming on the ground blocking the track? This is not the first time this has happened. Why are the parents aloud to block the track and not go downstairs to watch their childrens game ? Especially because of the high covid rates ... this is a safety hazard as well for the people who are actually here to attend the gym. We already have to use dry paper towels and spray that barley cleans the surfaces of the equipment. It would be nice to have sanitizing wipes like other gyms.. just a suggestion! Update: thank you for the sanitizing wipes way better !

Experiencia fantástica: My early voting experience at the Pip Moyer center was very well organized with a lot of helpful volunteers to direct you. You enter the building from the back lower level . It's set up for speed and efficiency , no lines to wait in and you're given the option of a paper ballot or voting electronically. I was in and out quickly . Sure hope this becomes the way of the future.

Experiencia negativa: Their daycare isn’t open when their classes start, which was the whole point in joining for me. I was told when I joined their daycare was open during their class times but that isn’t the case, and they won’t refund your payment. A bait and switch followed by really unprofessional management. “It was stated on the website” ok but I wasn’t on your website was I? I was there in person, and was misinformed by your staff. I’ll dispute the charge, you guys are rude. Reply: yes, the supervisor told me it’s posted on the website. I was in person asking questions though, that’s what I’m referring to with the bait and switch. It’s fine that your hours are what they are but I was told something a bit different and can’t attend any of the classes.... I was told to bring my toddler in the class with me, and that I should’ve looked at the website first.

Experiencia positiva: Pip Moyer rec center is my daily gym and I enjoy the large gym and many different machines and rooms. But I had a women named Jennifer completely ruin my workout with her bad attitude and favoritism towards the regulars she knows. I get that I am young but I come here to release stress and anxiety and when I was stopped by “Jen” for hitting the weights in between sets it surprised me because I was not the only one doing so and because she stopped me in the middle of my reps with headphones in. So Not o my was my gym day ruined but now every time I come and she’s here I have to feel like I’m being constantly watched. Let me add I would’ve understood if she waited till I was done and politely corrected me but it was the snobby and rude attitude she had towards me because I was young. Young being 20 years old. So overall good gym and good staff except for Jennifer, who is the worst

Experiencia fantástica: Was there for a job fair and when I tell you it was one of the nicest centers Ive seen in some time Im not lying Im not going to go down the list of all the features because I truly dont know But I will say if you are in the annapolis area you should check it out There was wall climbing, a fitness center, basketball court, etc. Well lit, plenty of parking and ac was on 100% (thank god!!!) Ill be back!

Even had a small kitchenette area for our food and drinks. We came here as a recommendation from a couple worker and it was definitely worth it!

Experiencia positiva: This is a good alternative when the weather outside isn't good for my usual run. Its too expensive. The cardio equipment is a bit dated but sufficient. For the price one should be allowed a decent towel but they only offer tiny little towels for sweat and these are disposable cloth towels ( watseful). Front desk staff wasn't friendly but seemed inconvenienced by my visit. Its clean and easy to get to. I'll use again when visiting Annapolis if needed, but will remember my towel next time.
