Experiencia fantástica: I joined on a temporary basis prior to relocating within the state. The owner made it easy for my membership to stay flexible. They're putting a lot of work into the place to upgrade it. It's a nice local gym for a low maintenance workout.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible, owner isn't helpful at all. Called a month ago to cancel my membership, they charged me again this month. Called to ask why I was charged to which the owner stated he couldn't refund me and I would have to call a corporate number to get it back. What a joke!

Experiencia negativa: Not a very good gym at all. And the owner I had to deal with was a coward and wouldn’t come talk to me face to face (even though he was at the gym when I needed to talk to him) long story short I was a member there for about a year and when I signed up they promised me 24 hr access and I would be able to box whenever I wanted. Then they did alot of renovations to the boxing area, closed the door, and decided that the customers had to pay EXTRA to box and one can only go onto the boxing area during staffed hours. As a working class American who has the standard hours of 8-5 I couldn’t make these hours, and I refuse to pay extra for something I was already promised for free. This is just not a very honest Bussiness in my opinion at all.

Experiencia negativa: The gym has been shut down. The new owner failed to pay rent, utilities and salaries. Further more, members lost 1/3 of the gym to a new cardio boxing program so the weight area is very tight and when its busy (more than 10 people) you can't get around anything. There are 3 other gyms in the area.

I have called 8 times, left 3 messages, drove up to the store front and I cannot even get ahold of someone to even sign up and pay these people for a membership. Cannot even image how bad it must be to attempt to cancel a membership when I can even get ahold of them to take my money.

Experiencia negativa: I have been trying to cancel my membership with no luck. Lots of back and forth emails and phone calls. Now they want me to send a letter in. I waited until my contract was up and I want to be done. Aside from the fact that the gym was mediocre at best, I no longer live in the area. When I lived there, I used the Workout Anytime, but switched to the Zoo because it was right across from my house. I would highly recommend Workout Anytime over this gym. Much better equipment/clean facility/attentive customer service.

Experiencia fantástica: Started going here in August of 2021, after almost 9 months of working out I've used 95% of the equipment. The Zoo has great staff, a friendly and inviting environment, and a great location. If you're considering The Zoo I wouldn't hesitate to get a membership.

It's one of the only gyms I have found that is not full of big, douchey guys staring at themselves in the mirror when they're not trying to hit on me and other women. Aside from that amazing aspect, the equipment is great! They have everything from cardio machines, free weights, group classes and even a SAUNA! And for a super great price! Plus the owner makes you feel like you're part of the family. No need to go anywhere else ever again!!

Experiencia negativa: This place is horrible, please don't join this gym. I asked for a replacement key 8 months ago They got my membership dues for the last 8 months I just can't get in. I called the manager and promised they would refund me back 2 months. what a lie! please under no circumstance do not join this place. They're crooks. Plus my dues were supposed to be $10 a month. I have been getting billed anywhere from $16-$46. I am a disabled vetran. I asked to get a new key or cancel my membership. So far they have done neither. It's funny how this works. I've paid dues for 8 months never got to work out even 1 time and they act like a free key fixes this. I missed a appointment but in 8 months they could have mailed it if it was important to them.

Experiencia positiva: I visited this place for the first time today. It was surprisingly accommodating for powerlifters and bodybuilders. Also has cardio equipment. They are currently in the process of remodeling. The guy that I spoke with said they are bringing in a lot of hammer strength equipment and also adding a CrossFit area. I was also surprised to see that they have a sauna here as well. The price was very reasonable. I paid $25 for 1 month.

Moved away in January found out was still being charged in Febuary. Called and told them and they stated we still have to charge you for the month. What kind of bull is that? Disputed the charge with my bank now their payment company is harassing me. (Peak Payment) I forget to call the last place I wouldve thought of and they end up being the biggest jack asses of them all. I will never do business with yall again.

Experiencia negativa: Love everything about the No-Contract deal; however, equipment sucks. Most of the stuff they've got in there is in a serious state of disrepair. The crossfit room was a good idea, but the only two kettlebells they had were stolen a while ago and management won't replace them. When I signed up back in 2014, I was told they were gonna bring a rower in and I have yet to see it. Basically, the only reason people go here is because they have no other choice. I'd rather be charged more and have good equipment, than pay 12 bucks for access to junk equipment.

Experiencia negativa: I was lured by a no contract deal if i paid in advance and did exactly that. They went ahead and decided to take money from my account (since i had a card on file) to make upgrades to their facility without my permission! That is when I decided to terminate my membership (remember, there was no contract and it was supposed to be a month to month membership), why am I getting collection calls from a collection company despite the owner confirming to me that my membership was cancelled? A huge Scam if you ask me.

Experiencia negativa: Canceled membership over the phone, but continued to get charged monthly reoccurring charge over our credit card over the past 15 months (my bad, but only because the charge looked too much like a membership to the Fort Worth Zoo), the cost over $500. Called the main office (National Fitness?) and told me I am out of luck since we didn't get anything in writing. Will be talking with the Anna Zoo Health Club staff to see what can be done from their side. Just very frustrated with this situation.
