Experiencia fantástica: I got the pleasure of taking the inside peak at Anderson’s best gym that’s been around for years, and has only recently started to create new experiences, juice and drink bar, racket ball room and plenty of equipment. They offer specialized packages to help you get your goals met, while still having a personal experience the whole way!

Experiencia negativa: My family and I were recently kicked out of Anderson family fitness the owners 16 year-old daughter does daycare claimed our babies smells when I talk to management. They had the owner call me and revoke our membership equipment 60 years old and it’s so hot there in the summertime you can’t even work out cardio equipment is always broke down and the daycare is way too small The owner is very cheap and refuses to fix anything

Experiencia positiva: Great place to get a good workout! They have all the good stuff, weight machines, cardio machines, free weights, and a place to stretch. Not to mention a friendly staff to boot. Clean and well maintained. I was there from out of town and they were very accommodating. Good spot!

Experiencia negativa: Anderson “Family” Fitness is non responsive, unhelpful/uncooperative, and they have continued charging me even when I gave in advance cancellation notices. Also, them charging upfront for the first and last month and STILL requiring a whole 30 days advance notice or they charge you again is ridiculous. 1. They don’t respond to emails. I emailed twice about ending my membership the month before my next payment was to happen and I got no reply either time from either management or billing department emails. 2. I call after not hearing back and am informed I have to come in to cancel, which was not made known to me when I signed up and it just felt like an unnecessary step. When I do, the desk person was pretty condescending and unhelpful. At the end she told me I could still be charged again even though I had given my advance notice. I was in fact charged again recently which is ridiculous as I already paid for my first and last month when I signed up. I highly recommend not signing up to this gym.

Experiencia negativa: I liked this gym a lot until they raised my rate and tried charging me for removing someone from my account. I had a family member who was hospitalized and had to move somewhere else immediately after joining. I had to pay for their membership for 6 months anyway. I didn't complain until the aforementioned price increase and fee to remove. They even tried to hide the price increase when I was finally allowed to remove my brother from the account. Only use this gym if you need the amenities that others don't provide.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent gym, always very clean and staff is friendly and greet you as you walk in the door! They recently remodeled the weight rooms and the set up is way better now. If you want to hit legs all the leg equipment is in the same room, if you want to hit upper body all of that equipment is close to each other. Great atmosphere and you really get the feeling of that classic gym vibe.

Experiencia fantástica: The variety of equipment options, weighted bags, racket ball, tanning and classes is spectacular. The pricing is for for any budget as well. My family and I really enjoy their business. Let's not forget their customer service! They also offer a daycare where your child is well taken care of for up to one hour. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I was a member here several years ago, and then again in 2015. I never forgot that when I joined in 2015, the gal at the counter did not show me around the facility, and did not even offer to. I think she assumed that because I was a member there before, that I would know where everything was (but I didn't). She should have offered to show me around. Another thing is that I think clubs like this should have experts walking around overseeing how people are doing, in order to avoid potential injury. This club used to have a man watching things. I injured my wrist and possibly my knee from squatting. They should make sure that people know what they are doing and know how to properly use the equipment. I had a tendency to over-lift, and I am paying the price for this today.

Experiencia positiva: Racquet room and basketball downstairs are nice, also the room upstairs is good for stretching when not in use Automatic water refilling machine Free guest pass once in while I love Cat’s it doesn’t break your ear drum during class. Truly appreciate other instructors too, they have some encouraging words to say at times and have a nice choice of upbeat music good for moderate to extensive workout, the only reason why it’s not too enjoyable for me to attend is because the music is extremely loud. From my personal experience I agree with others/review that some staff on the front desk are not very welcoming, eyeing someone from head to toe is a little discouraging. Though I understand that they had some renovation done years ago the place still looks a bit run down, stairs have chips everywhere. Women’s locker bench are slightly coming off the nails when sitting on the edge. Shower floor and sauna bench could do a little scrubbing they are turning dark and sticky from dirt. I wish I could say you get what you pay for

Experiencia negativa: Super expensive! When other gym memberships are less than 10$ a person this place is charing almost 70$ for 2 plus a 1 year contract and first and last month deposit. I was trying to join the gym. Not rent a house. I will take the extra drive to redding to go to planet fitness for the much cheaper price.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this gym, but between 4 and 7 pm it's full of women standing around chatting on cardio equipment so they can use the free daycare. It's frustrating for those of us trying to work out after work. It's why I haven't been in a while.

Experiencia fantástica: #bestgymever. Lots of people have gym memberships, but not all get used. I look forward to coming to my kettlebell class because it has become an extended family for me. I look forward to getting to see my group of gym friends! With more teleworking the human interaction and physical activity is so important for a person to remain healthy and feel whole.

Experiencia fantástica: I am trying out the free 7 day membership and so far I love this gym! The owner, Chris, is very attentive, friendly, and willing to help out with any questions/concerns, and gives great advice on how to exercise and get back into shape. Everyone I've met there so far is friendly, fun, and I don't feel judged for being out of shape. The machines are in great condition anf kept clean, the air conditioning is just right, and the lockers are free to use. This gym also offers day care with fun activities for the kids. I can't wait to take my son so he can socialize with other kids while I improve my health. A++!!!

Experiencia negativa: :-(. I don't recommend this gym. DON'T go here. I went in today to try and see about closing my account with them. We recently lost our jobs and we have no money in our account. I spoke with an older lady there at the front desk and she said I only had 2 options. Find another couple to transfer the account to which I can't because we don't know anyone here in redding we moved from down south not that long ago, or do a payout of almost $600 dollars. We have only had this for about a month and half. Where am I supposed to get $600 if I can't afford the monthly payments. I came home upset and then I get a notification that they are charging me the payment already for this month. I just told them I have no money so they go and charge me!!! I have a payment going out and that is all the money I have in my account to cover that payment. If they charge me I will be negative and my check my bounce... It seems like they only care about money not about people. How can this be ok how can you take money forcefully that I don't have. I am crying on how upset this gets me. I reached out to Chris the "owner" on a number he put on one of the reviews here, but he didn't get back to me. No I don't recommend this gym. Now I am scared of what will happen to my payment I don't want it to bounce. :-(

They are in the middle of remodeling and getting new equipment. I would highly recommend this place for family wanting to get back into shape again. The environment is wonderful also.

Experiencia fantástica: Anderson Family Fitness is by far the best gym in the Anderson/Redding area. First of all, the cleanliness of the facility is A+, from the front office to the locker rooms. Staff is very respectable, knowledgeable about their membership plans, prices on their inventory, and up to date on the classes that they offer. Also, the members at this facility are very respectable to others. Child care area is clean! They even have a room where you can practice grappling and do other misc. exercises. The equipment options are countless, and they have an outdoor/crossfit area to exercise!! Fell in love with this place as soon as I put my first foot through the door. If you want to feel good, look good and live good, this place is a good start to accomplish those goals!!

In regards to "Mañana Amalgams" review (wish you would have used your real name so I could have discussed your details of the issue in depth) I apologize about your experience, but without specific dates and times of your visit that I can then verify with my check-in system and surveillance cameras I am limited to how I can respond to your accusations. As far as dress code, Jennifer is a Zumba instructor and wears Zumba brand attire so I apologize if that was offensive to you, but Jen is giving 110% to our Zumba program so that all of our members that pay good money can have the Zumba experience if they so choose. I apologize that you did not feel comfortable approaching me as the owner about any issue you were having because we work really hard to offer the best health club and programs we can and I am always willing to speak with customers face to face about anything pertaining to my business. Experiencia fantástica: I'm not sure what "Mañana Almagams" deal is but Jennifer has always been nothing but helpful and friendly. Every time I go in she has a huge smile on her face and has great comraderie with the members. I know first hand how hard she works and how passionate she is about her work, fitness, and Zumba. It's sad that people feel the need to cast their own insecurities onto others. Jennifer is a fitness/Zumba instructor, she works hard for her great physique. It is her job to be in shape, healthy, and vital.
