I always wondered how one place can have so many good people working there, as usually workers at most places can care less about you, and are rude and can't get off their darn phones to give you any attention or help. Tracy and the staff make me feel like I matter. That means everything to me right now. The equipment is great and it's really a full service gym. I reached out to the location by email, got a quick response with clear pricing, and came in to sign up for an annual plan. The staff was very professional, easy to work with, and on top of everything and everyone. A very special shoutout to Maria, Fernanda, and Dorian! They made the sogn up process stress-free and enjoyable. I say this even though they had a lot of people coming in and out and asking questions. They handled everything smoothly from start to finish. One of the main reasons I switched over was the equipment. Crunch has more of the cable machines I was looking for compared to my previous gym. Overall, great experience. Crunch is lucky to have a great team up front.

Experiencia negativa: Pleasant, well equipped gym. I went there for a over a year. HOWEVER, I ended up moving out of state. After the move, I called to cancel the membership. On that call, the staff member I talked with confirmed I was good to go and no further steps needed to be taken. 2 years and 6 months later, when the card they had on file expired, I get contacted by Crunch Fitness's off-shore call center saying I'm late on my payment. Come to find out they've been charging me this whole time. Not only did they refuse a refund for the years they silently charged me, per their policy, they still insisted I pay the late payments plus a late fee. I knuckled under because I don't want to be harassed for the "late payments," and my credit score dinged. I'm ANGRY and feel taken advantage of.

Experiencia negativa: I very upset with this location about kids policy their allowed pets inside but they’re not allowed to take my child under my supervision to just take a tour around the Gym It’s completely unacceptable and ridiculous Am a member since 8 years already but today was my last day here. Totally stupid

Experiencia negativa: Accepted a job in CA and made the temporary move to CA in late 2024. Stayed for 4 months. Had a crunch membership in MN but only visited once before the move and loved it. Great staff, good sized gym with almost everything I needed. As for the Garden Grove location, pretty similar except this location is HUGE. One side is free weights/machines, the other is a way-less-busy squat rack/moving exercises area. The gym itself (inside) is fine, but the staff (for me) rates quite a bit lower than back home. Rather than transferring my membership, I had to sign up again (expected). This should have taken minutes, but took almost an hour. Front desk guy offered the free session with a trainer. I declined. He insisted/persisted. I declined several more times. The trainer walked over (tag-teamed) until I finally agreed 20 or so minutes later to end the conversation and salvage what little time I had left for a workout. I switched to the Fountain Valley location for most of my stay in CA after this experience. Staff at neither location was overly friendly. Before leaving, I was forced to go back to the GG location and cancel, which I did. The front desk woman even offered a "good luck back in Minnesota" on my way out. Fast forward 6 months: I'm looking through bank statements prior to buying a home in MN and discover the GG Crunch has been charging me the entire time. I call the location and explain the situation, only to be informed they have no record of the cancelation. Front-desker suggested I email the Mgr., who re-confirmed no cancelation request is showing in their system, but they did cancel via my email request. I've been with Lifetime, Planet F, LA Fitness, and a few local gyms, and I would rate them all well above Crunch. Personally, I would prefer to never get email spammed or phone solicited, and all the other gyms didn't do either aggressively. They also didn't conveniently forget to terminate my membership. Glad to be out of the fraternity.

Experiencia fantástica: Walking in you are greeted by a friendly employee. The facility is very clean, very organized and has a variety of machines for all types of exercises. I started training with my trainer Adrian earlier this year and he is very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and knows how to push you to be better. I recommend getting a trainer even if its one day a week, it really does help you get into being healthier.

Experiencia fantástica: I met with Joshua Martinez for a Crunch KickOff training. It was amazing, first off, he was extremely helpful and funny, he made the whole experience that can tend to be awkward extremely comfortable. I actually had a lot of fun. We did a body scan which tells me my muscle mass, BMI, and body fat percentage then discussed what it all meant(since it’s all new to me). Then he asked what my priorities are, and he made a workout for me on the spot and pushed me harder than I have pushed myself before. It felt amazing to do it, I 100% recommend this to everyone who wants to work on themselves. It’s a great gym, he is a great trainer, and I am going to keep going back. Sarah is absolutely outstanding — she goes above and beyond to make every member feel genuinely welcome. She greets everyone with kindness, takes time to talk, and always offers help with a smile. The rest of the staff are great too, but Sarah in the mornings really sets the tone for a positive start to the day!

He’s welcoming and helpful, guided me through about the plans that they had available adjust to your liking or lifestyle. It included a explanation of a body scan, a written report of physical changes and 25 min work out (depending which training selected is shorter or longer) I’ve had satisfactory experiences with two different trainers before a while back, this is my third time!

Experiencia negativa: worst crunch location , the female employees act as if your trying to hit on them or something they give off so much attitude , this isn’t a dating app where you pick and choose who you want to speak too. I pay money for a membership. not to be given attitude by a bunch of untrained employees who treat the customers based off how there day is going . one employee was able to help me with a my problem didn’t get his name but he had blonde ish hair his customer service was the only positive thing I saw at this gym.

Experiencia negativa: It’s a good gym overall. However, be vigilant on the staff trying to upsell you on “personal training” classes. They have this thing where they offer a free 1 hour kickoff event with a personal trainer, where they go over body composition, general fitness goals, and all that stuff. But really, this is just a vehicle to upsell members later on for personal training. The 1 hour kickoff event is actually pretty good. The problem is the staff is very (and I mean very) pushy, and they have no problem putting members in an uncomfortable spot in order to secure a contract. Even if said members are already on a budget. All of this wouldn’t be so bad, if it weren’t for the fact that these “sessions” are simply just not the value that they charge for. 25 minutes of training for $47 or 1 hour of training for $94 per session, with no feedback on proper form, nutrition, or even why certain exercises would be beneficial for certain fitness goals. It is more beneficial to watch YouTube shorts and get free advice on proper form and nutrition than it is to pay for sessions at Crunch Fitness. Don’t fall for the trap. It is only a way to get more money out of members on top of what the monthly membership already is.

We did a body scan and I was given an analysis of where my body’s at, fat %, BMI, etc… We did some exercises and he showed me a few plans and provided some options that Crunch offers for their workout programs. Overall great experience with a great trainer!

After I got signed up for a personal training session with Josh and he made the session easy to understand and comfortable! He helped establish goals in what I wanted to achieve for myself. He also didn’t hold back in pushing me to my limits during the workout portion of our session. It was great and would highly recommend checking out this gym!

Experiencia positiva: Been going to this gym for a while now and it’s been fine till recently. Was just trying to dead hang to the side where no one was at, cones were not blocking off either, when a staff came up and told me the area was off limits mid hang. What’s the point of paying the higher prices when the time you do go to the gym most of the area you are paying for is blocked off. Would not recommend peak plus as the price isn’t justified unless you go before people get off work. Tried to ask the guy why I can’t I just stretch for 2 mins max when no one was remotely in proximity or using that area but he just walked away after telling me to get off. Ending my peak plus, but the other staff especially reception are nice.

Experiencia positiva: I would’ve given 5 stars, but the cardio stair master machines have been OUT OF ORDER for far too long. 6/12 machines are always out of order. Otherwise, excellent gym, good crowd. Weights seem to be re racked pretty decently as well, which is a problem at most other gyms.

Experiencia negativa: I have OnePass through United Healthcare and let the receptionist know that I wanted to set up my membership. She said it doesn't work as monthly and only as a day pass, so I was confused. I called another Crunch and they said they take OnePass and would set me up no problem. So if you have OnePass and want to set it up, go to another Crunch location as the people here don't know what they're talking about.

Experiencia negativa: Water fill up stations have not been working for almost a month. Whenever I call and ask; I’m always told they are working.

Experiencia positiva: I got stuck in Westminster between 10 am and 1 pm because of court and stopped by here for a quick, non sweaty work out. They had more weight machines than what I've seen at other locations and little set aside areas for premium members, also something i haven't seen before. I thought the music was better than usual, it was an old ice cube album.

But, I think there has been a change in staff as of recently and everything has gone down hill. I will be cancelling my membership as soon as possible since the owner of the place doesn't seem to even care about it.

I follow her to HB and FV just to attend her Zumba classes although the drive is far. Hope GG will allow her to have more classes! She knows how to make the class super fun!!!

Experiencia negativa: Associates are not too friendly or helpful. I was standing a couple mins and neither guy acknowledged me or told me they will be with me right away. This was Sunday 10/08 late afternoon. Sauna is extremely hot, to a temperature where you can’t stand or breathe.The Sauna temperature needs to be fixed it will become a health issue if extremely hot. I have been to other locations and the sauna is better adjusted.

Experiencia fantástica: I want to share about my experience at Crunch fitness. I love Zumba, but I love it more than ever because of Marta the best Zumba instructor there is. She is so passionate about dancing with all of us, she really engages with all of us students and makes everyone feel included. You don’t have to be a good dancer to take her class because her dances are easy to learn but you are guaranteed to have so much fun while burning calories. Marta makes fitness fun! Going to her classes is the highlight of my week. She has such a great variety of dances and great music. If you take her classes you will be hooked on going all the time!

Experiencia negativa: This used to be my favorite gym until today. I'm canceling my membership! I'm not going to have my palm scanned and recorded by Amazon and your company. This is an invasion of privacy and no security for my personal information. Data breaches are happening with so many companies and you bozos think your technology is immune to that??? Scanning by phone was working just fine before, and now you want my information handed to Amazon One? This update is in response to Steve C., owner of this location. The answer sarcastically given to me by your front desk guy was there was no other way to get in because the scanners were taken out. After I complained further he asked for my phone number and let me in. He then asked me why I was blaming him about this new option to enter. I told him that I wasn’t complaining personally about him but rather to this whole new invasive policy. Here’s a tip, when a customer makes a complaint it’s not about you. You represent your company at the front line and should know how to properly and courteously respond to any complaints. That’s another thing I noticed with the front desk people this year. They’re not as nice and friendly as before. Gold’s Gym has a much more cheerful and professional staff than here. I may reconsider if I don’t have to use my palm print to get in. Train your staff to explain other options of getting in. That sad excuse about scanners being taken away is downright laughable.

Trainers did great job with startup session . he gave me one hour mentoring session. he did detailed analysis of my goals and what I am planning to achieve with workouts he was very professional and detail-oriented. Experiencia negativa: I have never in my life been to this place or website.. They had me signed up under someone else's card info and refused to erase my information.. THIS IS ILLEGAL and the manager is trying to enforce a balance that is NOT mine. I will be contacting an attorney to follow up how to remove my information from their system since I did not provide it. To the owner who replied Steve I appreciate you following up however I don't know how to contact you and the general manager at the location said he was the owner and gave me a 562 phone number and arrogantly said call him anytime. This is very disappointing to be treated this way so angry is an understatement for some I did not create. Apologies I did not attach the account number that they claim to be me. It is ACCOUNT #: 602026082 You GM refused to do anything claiming this was done online. It would be illegal for me to enroll online with someone else being financially responsible. I never approved of anyone representing me in any form. I am not taking advantage of anyone or anything and just wanted to be treated right. This has been a big waste of my time from phone calls to traveling to the place of business.

Experiencia fantástica: Overall good gym this location is the biggest here in California. Plenty of equipment and friendly staff. I signed our son who is going to the marines so he will have a membership for a short time only. Sign up was super easy and fast.

Experiencia positiva: New to the area and im within 10 minutes of this location but i still drive to lakewood bc this gym closes earlier, 10pm latest only weekdays, not including friday. The reason i joined crunch years ago was bc they were also 24hrs and they came close to the size of 24hr fitness gyms.

Experiencia positiva: It's a gym lol. I will say cleanliness isn't a priority to the employees. When I signed up I asked about cleaning and sanitizing equipment. They stated they clean and sanitize the equipment but also rely on the members to sanitize and keep the gym clean.... Of course we should be wiping equipment down before and after use however, cleaning the gym is not my responsibility. I have used the same elliptical for 2 weeks and no one has yet to remove the gym wrapper and tissue from inside the cup holder. I purposely used the same machine to see if they in fact clean, 2 weeks later, it's clear they don't. Other than the cleaning problem, I have no complaints really.

It's not common to see machines down for more than a day if at all. Staff is friendly and helpful and I like the variety of options from classes to personal training, ergonomic machines to free weights. This gym made transitioning from a home gym easy!

Experiencia fantástica: I usually don’t go out of my way to post a review on any establishment. This will be the exemption due to the amount of respect I have for these two gentlemen. I want to give a quick shout-out to Chris and JP! These two guys are the most down to earth, hard working, and kind people I’ve ever met at any gym. I thought coming from the FV gym to this location was going to be a hard transition. It turns out it wasn’t because JP transferred over here too, so it made me feel like I never left. JP does an amazing job making sure that all the equipment at the gym is up and running. Sometimes they even call him to help out at different locations! There’s never a time when I see JP not busy. This man moves! On the other hand I see Chris every day taking care of members, welcoming everybody, cleaning up after members, running around the club to ensure everything is up to code. Chris is so professional! These two individuals go above and beyond to ensure this club runs to the highest possible standards. I may be missing out on a few other staff in here. I just hope Crunch Fitness notices the amazing staff they have at their disposal…..don’t take them for granted. This is why we keep coming back! Thank you guys!
