Experiencia fantástica: Great gym!! I’ve been to crunch, planet, and verdure, and this is the one I feel most comfortable at with good equipment for the price! I go in the mornings typically and Lucas at the front is always in a great mood which helps when I’m dragging in! 10/10
Experiencia negativa: Most of the stair masters are broken, Napkins toilet paper and disinfectant sprays aren't stocked through out the week during the evenings.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been going to this gym for a year now. I liked it a lot at first but over the last 6 months I’ve noticed there is always a machine down. The same stair master has been down for 4-5 months and some of the others have steps broken. The pads are missing on a ton of the machines or they are just broken every other week. It’s sad because I do like this gym and the layout but why are we paying for machines to be constantly broken.

Experiencia negativa: We signed up for Trufit and immediately signed up for trainers, but to say the least, the training left a lot to be desired, very amateurish. After our PT was done and being disappointed by the whole experience we called to cancel our membership. I called to cancel and was told we have to go through there abc customer care by e-mail. Abc intern told us we had to cancel our training first, like I said training was finished, but surprise one extra was added. We had to go in person to cancel it, so we did. Gabe set there at his computer and went through the motions and told us it was taken care of. So I send another email to ABC, surprise it was not canceled. I then contact trufit again, and this time they said, send us an e-mail and we'll cancel it, what? Come to find out from people on Facebook this has happened a lot.

Experiencia negativa: SCAM! Would give zero stars if possible. Walked into gym to check out the child care and they roped me in with a 2 dollar trial and then persuaded me to add others onto my account for less then a dollar each so I did but moving a town over shortly after I needed to cancel. After not ever using there facility once they still charged me full price for all 3 of my family members and told me no refund. I tried canceling over the phone and was told I had to come in person. After making the long drive to see an associate the front desk proceeded to give me a piece of paper with a code on it telling me to email customer service. Then once emailed they told me it's a 30 day process with responsibility to pay all fees during the time. A $57 cancel fee per person. $97 in membership. $100 from annual fee. And then $210 for God knows what. My bank had to reimburse the $210 since they managed to pull it out of my savings without permission. I put a block on them through my bank then they managed to pull $310 out a month later from my debit when I never gave them access to my debit because otherwise why would I give them my checking account. I called back up to TruFit to be told that I had only cancelled my one account and not the other 2 when I was never informed that I needed to send 3 separate cancellation emails nor was I given 3 membership numbers when I showed up in person. I had to get a new debit card and am now on the verge of closing my bank account. This is the greatest scam I have ever been apart of in my 30years on this earth please avoid the trouble, headache and financial burden and never walk into this gym.

Experiencia negativa: I have taken EVERY STEP that I was told to, by Gabe, at the amarillo Tru Fit to cancel mine and my husbands memberships and it STILL HAS NOT BEEN CANCELLED. I ended up closing my bank account because I had a feeling(from being told by another former customer) that they would still try to continue charging my account for services I'm not using. I reached out to the location about cancelling and was told to send an email, and then i reached out to corporate/corporate customer service to check the status of my cancelation and was told there was no such thing in affect and they asked to update my billing info, I refused and stated I have already canceled our memberships. I explained that I have already tried to cancel the plans TWICE and did what I was told by Gabe, who is one of the fitness managers AT THE LOCATION. This has been very annoying and inconvenient. I do not and would not recommend Trufit to ANYONE.

Experiencia negativa: Avoid this gym unless you NEVER intend on leaving or enjoy playing phone tag and DEMAND LETTERS from collections companies. I physically came into this club to cancel my sons membership(A minor) and was to told by the front desk employee that only managers could assist in cancelling. I politely requested a call back by a manager and provided my cell phone. A call never came. Instead I chased after managers for the next couple of months. Eventually I was told that I could not cancel them membership with them I would have to call ABC Fitness their parent company. ABC Fitness does not appear to have US Based employeed. Once you speak with them they'll hae you e-mail a cancellation to them which is not actually good until 30 days later. At which point you will be charged for your monthly dues and annual renewal if it happens to be in that time period. But wait, Theres more......They claim they will draft your remaining membership amount but don't actually follow through. Instead, Your membership remains active for months until you receive a demand letter from what I can only assume is a shady collections agency who may or may not be based out of the US. Cancelling my 15 Year Old sons membership should have cost $11.00 I've not payed over $130.00 and wasted hours of my own time. My recommendation is to find a better run gym.
Experiencia negativa: I asked for them to cancel my account, it took them 6 months to cancel, and when I asked for a refund for those months, Jacob said no refunds for the 5 months I was overcharged.

Experiencia negativa: Scam Artists with a Dirty Gym I was in Amarillo temporarily for work and needed a gym for just a short period. I made it absolutely clear that I only needed a membership for a month or two and that I would not sign up if there were any extra or hidden fees. The staff looked me in the eye and told me there weren’t. That was a lie. They had me sign a long month-to-month contract and conveniently left out the fact that there was a $60 “annual enrichment fee” coming up. I canceled after 10 days of use because I left town earlier than expected. That’s when they hit me with the bill… Two full months of charges plus this garbage $60 fee that they never disclosed. I should’ve read the fine print. That’s on me. But the fact that they intentionally withheld that information when I asked about it directly shows this was a deliberate bait and switch. If they had told me the truth, I never would have signed up. They know that. That’s why they didn’t. And what exactly does this $60 enrichment fee go toward? According to them, it’s for cleaning and maintenance. That’s a joke. In the 10 days I was there, the bathrooms and sauna were disgusting. Floors were black with filth, trash stayed on the ground for days, and the place smelled awful. The sauna was a health hazard and I never once saw it cleaned. Multiple machines were broken every time I came in and stayed broken. So to sum it up, they lied to get my money, they tricked me into signing a contract I never would’ve agreed to if I had been told the truth, and they charged me a bogus fee for “cleaning” a gym when their locker room looks and smells like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. This gym membership is money grab built on shady tactics and zero accountability. I was scammed out of my money and they refused to refund a single cent. Absolutely disgraceful.

Experiencia negativa: Great equipment, disgusting facility. The locker rooms do not get cleaned, the walls are yellow, the floors haven’t seen a mop in ages, the toilets are grimy, there are clumps of hair everywhere and none of it ever gets touched. On the weekends every trash can on the gym floor will be overflowing and paper towels/cleaning spray for the machines will be empty. Complaints go ignored.

Just make sure WHEN you need to cancel your membership, talk to someone AT the club location (their "Customer Care" seems to be 3rd party, incoherent, inefficient, they'll waste your time, and it's garbage), and make sure you tell them 30 days before you need to cancel. They will make you continue to pay if your payment due date falls within the 30 days. I tried to cancel through Customer Care and them wasting my time cost me an additional payment. Facilities and Staff: 5 stars. Business Administration and Account Management: 0 stars.
Experiencia negativa: The facilities are nasty. The bathroom is never clean even when the cleaning lady is there I see her dusting off equipment but never scrubbing a toilet. I have almost pissed my pants trying to make it home to use the restroom too scare to touch even the door handles inside of TruFits bathroom.

Experiencia negativa: BEWARE of this place! They want you to sign up of course but Please read the fine print. We were told that our membership was a month to month and would end with no more fees. NOT true! We told them that we didn’t want to keep our card on file. But they did! BEWARE in the fine print you will be charged the annual membership for even less than a moth of membership! They won’t hand you the paperwork to read. It will be emailed after the fact! They have you sign electronically so you can’t read their terms and conditions! The customer service was even worse! Lesson learned. We have had memberships at other gyms with no problem . Even on a month to month. My concern in the beginning was the cleanliness. Especially in the bathrooms.. He apologized and it would be taken care of . But signed up anyway. The day I went to terminate our contract used needles were littered the parking lot. Please be aware!
