It's a gem, and there are not many like it left. I've been around gyms since the 80's. You don't need to know more, you know what I am talking about.

Experiencia fantástica: This is my go-to gym when visiting the Roswell area. The equipment is plentiful and well maintained, owner/coach Calahan is supportive and friendly (I haven't met Anna yet), and the fellow gym-goers create a very positive environment. They are very welcoming of drop-ins and go out of their way to make you feel at home.

Experiencia fantástica: I walked into this gym for the first time back in April 2022 because I wanted to fix my back, which would just go out on its own - you know, I have one of those desk jobs, always sitting - everything was tight and out of balance. At 54+, I still have a long way to go and I know too many folks that think back surgery and pills are the answer - that's just not me. I asked Callahan and Anna to "fix" me, and that I wanted to learn how to squat and deadlift PROPERLY. I took some private lessons, had Callahan draft up a program, and I began to train and work myself into the gym and its professional, welcoming, and friendly culture. Almost a year later now and I am stronger than ever before, and much safer in comparison to my CrossFit days. Back pain is a distant memory and I'm more focused these days on proper execution. I've gone from just barely being able to support 185 lbs. across my back on spindly legs to squatting just under 350 lbs., and SAFELY. I can't even begin to describe what a gift this is. I wasn't planning on it, it just happened with Callahan and Anna's support, and just as importantly support from the other members of the gym, that and commitment. This place is awesome and addicting! If you have kids you love and want the best for them, you send them here. If you want to compete, you come here. If you're middle-aged and in a rut, you come here. If you're old and do not want to leave this world falling down, breaking a hip, going to the hospital, and having them fast-track your exit from this world, you come here. And, important note, DO NOT let Callahan catch you staring at your cell phone while sitting on his gym equipment. You want health, strength and longevity, you come here. You want selfies? Go someplace else and lovingly stare into the mirror at yourself - good luck with that. Jim

Experiencia negativa: I have been calling and calling this business with no return or email or anything. I only had a few simple questions about the facility but it seems no one is doing their job. Who would want to join a gym that fails to answer a simple phone call? What happens in case of emergencies? I think I’ll take my chances elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: This is one of the premier hard-core gyms in the metro Atlanta area! If your looking for somewhere to train and not be asked to leave for working out to hard this is the place for you

Experiencia fantástica: One of the best gyms I have been to! Roswell Barbell has literally every single piece of equipment you need for powerlifting, strongman, bodybuilding, whatever you want to do. They have safety squat bars, Buffalo bars, power bars, deadlift bars, atlas stones, sleds, prowlers…you get my point. Everything you need for anything strength or hypertrophy related. Talk to Callahan or Anna and they will hook you up! I live out of town but always train here when back in town. Awesome environment and extremely fair pricing

Experiencia fantástica: The owner of Rosswell Barbell is an absolute beast and one of the best gym owners I have interacted with. Great facility, plenty of equipment and weights, spot clean bathroom, etc. One of the best training facilities I have been to.

Experiencia fantástica: Was in town visiting family, and needed to lift. The gym was not crowded and the staff was extremely friendly and had everything I needed. Racks, bench, machines, etc they had it. Will be back when I’m in town!

Experiencia fantástica: I am a strongman competitor I am a athlete for Vikings power lifting Savannah GA. Me and three other team members went up there and spent the weekend. These awesome people took us in and treated us like family. By the time we left we felt like we have known these people our entire life. I highly recommend everybody in the Atlanta area to stop and meet these wonderful people. I will be making a lot more trips up there in the near future.

Experiencia fantástica: Great gym, set up with a emphasis on strength training. It is all about the training at Roswell Barbell. Very knowledgeable and accessible, the staff trains and competes at a national level.

Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful, open gym for power lifting or body building. The trainers are spectacular. You can also work out if you don't want to train with a trainer. Great concept that is much needed in the area.
