Experiencia negativa: The gym facilities are fantastic. But unfortunately, a lot of time is wasted waiting for people to finish their phones before using the machines. The gym has a movie theater, but it only has two leg extension machines. That's unreasonable. Who goes to a gym to go to the movies? Priorities. What they invested in the movie theater should be invested in infrastructure and machines.

Experiencia negativa: When signing up for new memberships it was not clear that you could link members within your household to receive a slight discount on membership. Reached out to member services during the first month of membership to be immediately told there is nothing that can be done to link memberships after the accounts are created. Make sure you link the memberships at the beginning if you are new to this gym as their member services are unwilling to help. Outside of this issue, the gym is nice.

Experiencia negativa: They are taking out the cardio cinema to add another pay to use class space. A lot of us use the movie space but they are more interested in making more money than keeping its users happy. Also they haven’t been fixing broken equipment, and all you get is excuses. Used to be great, going downhill fast. Taking out something that can be used and is currently being enjoined by numerous amounts of your clientele that is currently making it easier to reach our fitness goals so that you can put something in to charge more money isn’t following fitness trends. It’s just greed. I also love how you didn’t respond to the fact that right now in the gym at least six machines are broken and have been for the last two or three weeks.

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutley love this place! Convient location and overall nice, clean facility. The only grip i have is the use of cameras and public filming. People have jobs that require a certain level of discreetness and allowing it and, its members as a social media backdrop needs to stop.

Experiencia negativa: Very displeased with the gym. For about a month now 70% of the TVs are broken or paused on the same screen. Multiple machines have not been fixed in 3-4 weeks, and the steam room is usually down for maintenance. Other than that it is a pretty clean and great gym but they have serious maintenance needs.

Experiencia fantástica: The gym is well-rounded with all sorts of equipment to work any body part out. They have everything from strength equipment to machines with cables to plate loaded machines. They have a studio Cinema Fitness room, a large indoor pool, massage chairs, and the brand new studio lft. The equipment is in very good condition. The staff there or really great in helping you out. Special shout-out to GM Anthony and lead front desk Sakira. (I hope I spelled her name correctly). This is definitely a local gym that rivals EOS Fitness and Planet Fitness. Sign up here!!

Experiencia negativa: ⭐☆☆☆☆ – Disappointing Experience at VASA Fitness (Chandler) Black ran location I canceled my membership due to repeated negative experiences at the Chandler location. The front desk staff and management appear poorly trained and unfamiliar with their own check-in system. I was turned away simply because the system flagged multiple check-ins, and no one could clearly explain why or how it worked. The buzzer system is annoying, and the staff didn’t even seem to understand its purpose. Customer service was rude and dismissive instead of helpful, which made the situation even more frustrating. On top of that, the music selection is extremely repetitive—mostly loud rap music—with little to no variety, which makes the gym environment uncomfortable and unwelcoming for a lot of members. This location feels poorly managed overall, and it’s a night-and-day difference compared to other VASA locations I’ve been to. For example, the Provo location was much better run, more professional, and had a far better atmosphere. I expected consistency across locations, but Chandler missed the mark badly. Until management improves training, customer service, and overall gym culture, I wouldn’t recommend this location.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to this VASA for awhile and there's been times where I want to cancel my membership to go somewhere else. If it weren't for folks like Julie (Julianna), Lynnah, I believe her name is Natalie, then Gloria and Wendy for what they do and their support, I would've made change already. Huge thanks to them for making VASA so welcoming and engaging!

Experiencia positiva: I have been a member of VASA since 2023. My original club was the Thunderbird location, and I absolutely loved my experience there. In May of this year, I officially transitioned to the Chandler location, and every staff member I have interacted with has been friendly and welcoming. My one complaint is the overhead light above the bench press area- it flashes on and off constantly. I’ve mentioned this to several staff members since August, but as of this morning (December 2nd) nothing has been done. I experience chronic migraines, and the flashing lights have trigger said migraines in several occasions. I often have to change my workout routine or leave the gym entirely. In November alone, I missed three weeks of workouts due to the flashing light agitating my eyes. I trust that Vasa will maintain its clean, supportive, and well-lit atmosphere for all member by resolving the lighting issue, whether through replacing the light or by turning it off.
Experiencia negativa: Sneaky contract terms. I have had onboarding issues and there is no customer service and the staff don't want to help. They are very quick to tell me to keep waiting. Also, I signed up my wife on their black Friday deal and got scammed. They discounted the monthly fee from $24.99 to $19.99 but included a "rate guarantee fee" of $59.99/year ($5/mo) that cancels out the black Friday savings. I accepted it but I was aware of it only because I read the contact first. Their only mention of the fee looks like an annual payment option and not an additional fee. I wouldn't trust them without reading the contract thoroughly. Very unethical business tactics. That being said, the club is very good and well maintained and like it. They could benefit from smarter people behind the desk but thankfully I don't often have to deal with them. I don't know why fitness gurus statistically tend to be morons.

Experiencia positiva: It's been almost 3 awesome years that I have been coming to this gym. I came here for 2 primary reasons, a steam room and a dedicated spin cycle class room. As of this date, they are in the remodel process of removing the spin cycle room. Why this is happening is beyond comprehension. Spin is the most challenging exercise besides swimming that anyone can do and they are taking it out to make room for weight training? They already have a H.I.I.T. room and personal training available. This is going backwards like our country. I guess it's time to start searching again for what I need and want.

Experiencia negativa: FIX THE STAIRS! They have 10 stairs and only 3 have been operating for last 2 months. They have time to tear down walls, shut the pool area down but no time to fix broken equipment. The new maintenance guy seems over his head. When I tried to show him the broken stairs, he got upset and said he has "1700 other things to do" and each stair takes "7 hours" to fix.

Experiencia positiva: Its a big gym with lots of equipment, however the amenities are not much better than EOS down the street, which is a fraction of the price. The restrooms always smell bad and the classes and body scanner cost extra.

Experiencia negativa: The 1 star reviews for this place and its billing policies are quite accurate. I was pressured into signing a personal training contract without letting me read it. Was assured that I could cancel my membership etc any time with no impact. When I had to relocate and cancel the gym membership in 2 weeks of joining I was told there's a ~$1,300 fee to clear the contract, and another ~$270 in cancellation fees. Meanwhile I had signed up for a one month free membership trial online. Tried talking to their corporate about how I was duped into signing the contract and all they parrot is "you owe money you need to pay". Not a single response to correct their predatory practices or even address it. Don't join this scammy gym. If you want to leave they'll gouge as much money as they can with duplicitous practices. When I provided relocation proof etc they ignored it and continued to pressure me to pay ~$1600, for 2 weeks . Shows how poor their internal communication is. Only after a lot of to and fro I was offered to let it go for $100. So essentially a scam fee to avoid getting scammed. Yes I understand I should've read the contact in detail, but that's where the staff comes into play, who overwhelmingly assured me that I don't need to read the contact and just sign it. As for the gym, equipment is outdated and it's hard to get a turn on something you want to incorporate into your routine since there's only one or two of the popular ones and they're always in use. The personal trainer was good, that's the only positive thing I can say about this place. Stay away from this shady business.

Experiencia negativa: I’m writing this review because of a frustrating and unethical experience with VASA Fitness regarding my canceled membership. I canceled my membership in person at the front desk on April 2, 2025, clearly stating that I wanted to end it entirely — not place it on a temporary freeze. Despite doing this in good faith, VASA continued to bill me for months afterward. When I reached out, they repeatedly sent the same response claiming that “a written request is required,” refusing to acknowledge the in-person cancellation that their own staff accepted. This appears to be a clerical or internal error, yet they expect me to pay for charges that occurred after I had already canceled. This practice feels deeply unethical. Customers shouldn’t have to pay for a company’s administrative mistake — especially when they took the proper steps and received no notice of any issue at the time of cancellation. Requiring a written notice after the fact, without informing the customer beforehand, is an unfair business practice and creates unnecessary hardship. I’ve requested: 1. Written acknowledgment of my in-person cancellation on April 2, 2025 2. A full reversal of all charges billed after that date, including the alleged past-due balance So far, VASA Fitness has refused to correct the issue or provide a refund. I hope management reviews this situation and makes it right — both by refunding affected members and by improving their cancellation process so others don’t experience the same treatment.

The gym is always clean, organized, and has every piece of equipment you could need—whether you’re lifting heavy or just getting a good cardio session in. Stephanie has been absolutely incredible every time I come in. She’s super friendly, professional, and always goes out of her way to make sure everyone feels welcome and taken care of. You can tell she genuinely cares about the members and keeps the vibe positive. Easily the best gym experience I’ve had—thank you Stephanie and the VASA team!
Experiencia positiva: I’ve been back on my fitness journey for the last 3 months and I’m happy to have finally found a gym that aligns with what I’m seeking. However, the VASA app for check-ins and Studio class log-ins has been extremely frustrating. The system often glitches, resulting in unfair fees even when you show up for class on time. While I appreciate the accountability aspect—charging a fee for no-shows or being late makes sense—there also needs to be accountability on the company’s end when their system errors cause false absences or fail to track attendance accurately. It’s disappointing that this ongoing issue hasn’t been addressed, despite customer reports. Additionally, I’d like to suggest a 10-minute grace period for tardiness. Charging someone for being two minutes late (especially when classes start with a warm-up) feels excessive and unfair. These fees add up quickly and come across as a way to increase profits rather than support members’ progress. I genuinely want to continue my membership because I love the workouts and community, but integrity and fairness matter. I hope VASA takes this feedback seriously and fixes these glitches to better support loyal members. I hope to be able to update this review if they fix their glitches because the trainers and people there are wonderful.

Experiencia negativa: Been here for a couple years now, slipped in locker room, because a young kid didn’t display wet floor signage and he was mopping and caused enough damage that I couldn’t go back for months, let staff know and nothing was done. Yet I comment to a worker that was standing guard at the locker room door that they were picking on her cause she was new and I get a call from the manager. Definitely a snowflake facility. I never said anything derogatory. I guess it’s a blueprint for today’s society. Not impressed!!! And for some reason they found who I was with no one knowing my name and called me but when I come in to talk to the manager, he’s busy no problem. I’m working out for two hours, and then he leaves not very great way to do business. Much less manage

Experiencia fantástica: I just joined Vasa in September and have tried their different classes. All their trainers and staff are really friendly. Cycle classes with both Ashley and Ashley B were energetic and had their own great vibes. I was nervous about trying a weight training class but I'm glad I joined Connor's bodypump class to get started and get some helpful pointers. Fun classes to get a sweaty workout in each time!

The evening spin classes are so convenient for my schedule ( Shout out to Wendy, Ashley and Ashley B!!) — it’s great to have the option to get in a solid workout after work without feeling rushed. The instructors keep the energy high and the classes are always fun and motivating that make it feel like a party rather than a workout. I also absolutely love they have a Sunday class too! I also have to give a huge shoutout to the staff! Everyone is so friendly, communicative, and genuinely helpful. One night, my spin shoe got completely stuck on the bike, and Connor , Sakyra, Julie and Daniel immediately stepped in to help me get it unstuck without damaging my shoes— going above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. It’s clear they really care about their members and create such a welcoming environment. They went above and beyond in that situation where most gyms wouldn't. Highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for great classes and even better people!
Experiencia fantástica: I love going to commit dance with Adrian as the teacher. He is professional, friendly, sweet and an amazing commit dance instructor. . He teaches the moves to our class with knowledge and precision, he plays great music and we all have a lot of fun because of him! Plus it’s a great cardio workout!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming to this gym since feb 2025 and it has been amazing. Studio red is my favorite class. I love how every day it’s a different workout. It keeps my workouts interesting which help me to stay consistent. Shout out to some wonderful coaches who I have done the classes with that have been amazing: Amy, Wendy H, Ryan, Michael, Connor, Theresa, Ximena, and Malia. They have helped me in one way or another. But any coach you get will be amazing I’m sure of it. Thanks Vasa for helping me with my goals.

Experiencia fantástica: This has been my gym for over 2 yrs .i joined for the pool classes but i have one complaint and i speak for most of class . The pool water is soooo COLD we’ve all complained many times with nothing being done. When we joined they told us that a steady 84-85 temp for pool . It’s so cold that we can enjoy our class because we’re moving and moving to keep warm. We won’t even talk about leg cramps we deal with from the cold .! We’ve been ignored b the YOUNG staff repeatedly . I’ve had enough and might start checking out other gym pools . Please, please look into this I LOVE OUR GYM ! Update; Thank you, Thank you for turning up the heat in pool we have ENJOYED our weekly swim fit classes and we enjoy Cassie as our instructor. Really ,thanks for listening to your customers.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to VASA for a year and half now after I left EOS. The staff, Sakyra Oliver, are so friendly and greet you every time you check in or are on the floor working out! I feel like it’s a family VIBE compared to the gyms I’ve gone to before where staff won’t even make eye contact with you. I moved 20 minutes away from the gym recently, but I will keep my membership, and the drive is well worth it! I recommend this gym to everybody I talk to!

Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars I would. This company will do anything to hide behind their “corporate policies”. First off what gym/company has a policy that they cannot do anything about your bill/payments at the location. They make you call a phone number and talk to who knows. If this magical phone number cannot help you then they tell you to email a customer service email that says they will get back to you in 3 to 5 business days. This is just absolutely awful customer service but just wait there is more!! My girl friend is type 1 diabetic which means her body does not create insulin to regulate her blood sugar. This gym said because of “corporate policy” they will not put a MEDICAL exemption in place for her in case she has a blood problem and physically cannot make it into work out. We loved the HIIT classes they provided but instead have having any type of customer service work around for a MEDICAL reason they would rather charge her when she cannot make it. This is absolutely disgusting that a gym, a place to get healthy would treat someone with a health condition like this. Y’all should be ashamed!!!
Experiencia negativa: I signed up because the facility looked clean and new. However- the hours the kids club is open doesn’t align with my schedule. They nickel and dime for everything. You have to make an appointment for the kids club and then if you’re late, they charge you three dollars, You need to scan your card to get into the basketball court and the sauna. They pick and choose who they want to pick on, as one week in they followed my family around like the Feds and made my 4 year old get off the court like a screaming criminal. After one week I cancelled and will be going back to lifetime which is more of a family friendly gym. All Members can access the gym and pool at lifetime. This gym is more for people on a budget and not families. They only retained my family for one week.

Experiencia negativa: There's a 40 year blonde chic in this place that openly complains about men not dating her "because she has a kid" She has literally pointed them out multiple times. It's off putting behavior to deal with, and it would give the impression that she's trying to ruin the reputation of your other members.

Experiencia fantástica: I have two words "Studio Red". The classes are awesome and it is a great way for me to breakup my workout routine.
Experiencia negativa: So sad that I had to cancel my memberships, I really enjoyed my time and allowed my teenage kids to work out there too, but someone started harassing my teenage daughter, this drew the attention of all the other members on that part of the floor. She was using a machine that had a identical machine next to it but this older guy started staring and talking trash to a teenage girl to intimidate her and force her off her machine, even though there was one next to her that was open. Other members came to confront this guy more than a few times and everyone in the gym was taking notice. She calls me hiding in the girls locker room crying and afraid to come out cause they wouldn't make this guy leave. I arrived a few minutes later and she meets me upfront. I talk to the manager and she is only going through manager speak, not listening or caring about much outside of "corporate policy" which states that she cant do anything but fill out a incident report. I found out this guys new to the gym, he is still there and they are not doing anything more than filling out paper work. She said if he did this again then they would cancel his membership....(maybe)? So there going to wait until soemone else is harrased and intimidated before they do anything...why? When I asked that question to the manager she insisted that is corporate policy. Then told me that she wouldn't tolerate being disrespected... So my teenage daughter gets harassed, confronted by this guy, other members have to help her out until she chooses to get away from this guy who wouldn't leave her alone even after being confronted by several other members and employees and they are going to make sure he stays and wait until it happens again before doing anything? When I spoke to the manager with frustration about this she said that I was being disrespectful...I told her that either she was going to cancel this guys membership today, now, or I would be canceling mine and my daughter's. She smiled her smile and said she cant because of corporate policy. Showing more frustration about knowing this person is going to do this again and I wont have myself or children be waiting around for him to do it again before something takes place per 'corporate policy'. I explained to the manager that I had been a member for some time, had a personal trainer during my physical therapy sessions and had no plans on leaving or canceling. But its a shame she wont do anything about it until someone else is victimized by a member who was still present at the time of our departure. So corporate policy at VASA is protect the people harassing teenage girls and ensure they have enough time to victimize another person then do something (maybe). It that sounds good to you pay $20 a month and another $20 for classes per month. And after your a good standing member and a victim "no fault of your own', expect the employees to do less than the members on the floor around you. So sad and pathetic that they protect these people and then talk about being disrespectful when you talk to them as a parent walking into this incident. You suck VASA, your manager cant manage very well and likes to throw shade at long standing loyal members and their family members. Go get victimized at VASA! They won't do anything about it...well, paperwork. I just wanted to be heard but everytime I opened my mouth two words would come out and she (manger) would interrupt me and cut me off before I could ask questions or enquire on anything. Then would talk about being disrespectful....after I asked her to repeat back to me what I had just said, literally what just came out of my mouth she couldn't cause she wasn't listening. Then turned around and said I was being disrespectful... Hey Manager lady, when you interrupt people and not listen to what they have to say or answer quesions, THAT is disrespectful.

Experiencia negativa: Vasa is constantly changing their pricing and amenities. I have a guest pass on my account that operates different every time I try to use it. It’s close by so it’s a convenient location. If there was an EOS close by I’d go there instead because it’s a much better value.

Experiencia negativa: I being going to this gym for more than 5 years, but I don't know why quality is going down,they also charged me twice in 4 months when I called to ask why they said I upgrade it ...how? Since I was not using since 4 months ago they didn't have an answer

Experiencia fantástica: Been coming to VASA for years and absolutely love it! This is the first time in my life that I’ve been consistent in going to the gym, and it’s because it’s a joy to come here. From the friendly staff and fun classes (Studio Red!!) to the equipment and amenities, it’s a top tier experience for an affordable price. Highly recommend this gym to all considering it. Also shout out to Amy who I did personal training with last year- she is wonderful and gave me so much confidence in my fitness journey.
Experiencia negativa: As much as this is on the gym staff, I can no longer go there because the people that go there camp out and sit on all the machines, saying they’re using them, while having six minutes between each set, while they sit on or hang out around the machines, especially the leg machines, on their phones, and gossiping with each other. I just recently had the two of the cattiest worst personality women tell me they were busy using a machine while they were not using the machine. They literally spoke like they were Karen’s right off the Internet. It’s too bad. But I have to give one star, because this is 100% of my visits and the staff never does anything about people camping out on one machine for 20+ minutes.

Experiencia negativa: This is a warning for the gym cancellation policies VASA has. I only needed this for 2 months during the summer. I've learned that in order to cancel you have to pay a cancellation fee ($25), but you also have to pay any bills you would have paid in the next 30 days. Including a bill to guarantee your rate, even though I'm cancelling ($65). So I'm essentially paying $90 just to cancel. When signing up, I only remember reading about the cancellation fee. I don't remember reading about having pay anything that is scheduled to bill in 30 days. I think it is lame that I have to pay a fee to guarantee my rate even though I've cancelled. I chose VASA because they had a sale at the time that you wouldn't have to pay the guaranteed rate fee for your first two months. In hindsight I should have canceled 30 days before the guaranteed rate was set to bill. Hopefully this helps someone else out that is new to this. As for this location, the gym itself is well maintained and clean. The staff at the front was always friendly as well. I genuinely enjoyed going, but am frustrated by the cancellation process.

She is an amazing instructor keeps you motivated through and through and the music is FIRE!!! She makes you feel welcomed and even if you feel like there’s something you can’t do she will find a way for you to get it done!! Love her!!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been coming here for about 9 months or so and I enjoy the staff very much. Sakyra (hope that’s correct!) is so kind and funny. I love coming when she’s working because the jokes are top tier. Julie and Connor were extremely helpful when I was having a concern about my personal training sessions and were extremely supportive and guided me through read of the gym I’ve never utilized. It is always clean and I’ve never run into any problems here. I plan for this to be my home gym for a while.

Experiencia fantástica: First time visit at Vasa and first time ever taking a group fitness class. I signed up for a studio red class led by Christine. Juliana greeted me at the front and walked me over to the studio. From the very beginning Christine was friendly, welcoming, and informative. The variety of workouts and music playlist was great. Can’t emphasize enough how perfect the music selection was! After the class both Juliana and Christine came to check on me to see how my experience was. I was already impressed with the facility in general but my interaction with the staff made a lasting impression. Def will be back

Experiencia negativa: My fiance had a medical leave, Due to medical reasons vasa was not understanding kept charging her for a long period ,then she just reported it to bank..got a new card ...They tarnished her credit and vasa basically robbed her money ..we are now filing with BBB of Arizona..they are horrible ,their worker were ver5rude mean and aggressive verbally..worst experience and most of all they're very difficult..
