Only adjustments, the staffs professionalism (including the trainers) is a bit inconsistent, but I usually keep to myself, so no big deal. Also, a few plate loaded machines- incline chest, shoulder press, & lat pull down- would be welcoming additions. Though, with the latter, it would have to be in budget & the machines mentioned certainly are not cheap. Again, I'm simply knit picking, hence the favorable review. The owner is awesome & am glad I pivoted here from the other very commercialized options in the general area.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to this gym for literally decades. Actually, before it was even Pro Fitness. The facility is always clean and spotless - the staff cleans the facility every morning. The patrons are from the area, and the environment is top notch. I am in my sixties and have never felt intimidated by other gym patrons. People are friendly and easy to deal with. The equipment is good quality and well maintained. If something breaks, they strive to quickly make repairs. The staff is friendly and professional. This is a great value and is recommended for people looking for a quality local gym. Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Pro Fitness for about three years now. Since then, I've enjoyed making new friends and getting to know the employees. All the employees are truly wonderful people who have no problem helping you if you have any questions or require assistance. My favorite things about Pro Fitness!!! 1. The music is not too loud. As someone who has experienced other gyms, I appreciate that they don't blast their music like other gyms! 2. THE VENDING MACHINE!!! I love the vending machine. It has a nice selection of drinks and is pretty up-to-date. 3. Like any other gym, equipment occasionally breaks, but Pro Fitness has always been very quick to repair or replace damaged equipment. To conclude, Pro Fitness is a nice local gym, and it is very inexpensive, in my opinion. It's a place where you can have a nice workout without anyone bothering you, but at the same time, make new friends if you wish. It's all up to you! (I would have loved to take more pictures of the equipment, but there were currently people working out, and I did not want to make them feel uncomfortable )

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been going here for about a year now. The gym is great especially for the price, never too packed, all the fellow goers mind their business and are cordial. I didn’t have a complaint until today, and I’m so sad to write this review. I went at a different time than my usual time today, so maybe that was my fault. (Usually 8-11am, today 12pm) I’ve never asked for help, mostly bc I’m shy, but also bc I’m familiar with the machines from my previous gym. Today, I asked the guy with glasses at the front desk for help to get me set up on the smith machine for hip thrusts and to check my form.. 1. It seemed like I was bothering him by asking him for help 2. He told me hip thrusting on the smith machine was too much work and showed me another machine that I was not familiar with (I was open) 3. He did it himself quickly and left. So when it was my turn to do it, I had questions bc my due to my height - the proportions didn’t match and the belt was way too high on my stomach vs my hips. He also brought a foam but didn’t use it when he demonstrated, so when I went to buckle the belt, It didn’t feel secure bc I couldn’t fasten it with the foam. The whole situation was awkward. I looked around, but there was no one I could ask for help. I guess he was the only staff member at that hour? I felt so uncomfortable and honestly devastated. It’s the GYM! It’s so easy for people to feel self conscious, embarrassed, overwhelmed, or vulnerable. At my previous gym, everyone (staff) was so helpful and even as a beginner, they never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. I’m going to try again tomorrow at my regular time, and ask fellow members (who go at the same time as me) that have offered their help, and I’ll also ask other staff members for help I’ve heard they’re very nice. One of the trainers has complimented me and we chatted briefly but she wasn’t there today. Hopefully this is a unique experience and I find the help I need without having to switch gyms. Edit: (from 4 stars originally to 1) This edit is after the gym owner responded. I am sad to know that I have to call to schedule a consultation to ask a staff member one question that would take less than a minute to answer. I understand gyms want to sell personal trainer contracts, I get it. But having to go out of my way and call in advance to schedule an appointment to ask staff a simple question is absurd, especially as a response from the owner. Clearly, I am not a valued customer. I will be cancelling. Thank you

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to this Pro for years. By far my favorite Gym out there! The gym is really nice size and listens to the members so often get new equipment or changes when the majority ask for it! Otherwise there is a large range of equipment from Heavy free weights to assisted machines and the community reflect that so with a wide range of people attending. It Really is a community gym without feeling too niche to scare any beginners away. Overall, I love it here - The culture is really welcoming and respectful, so I've learned so much from just asking around! 11/10 Would recommend! You'll get in the best shape of your life!!!

Staff is friendly and the owner stays on top of what matters. After reading other reviews I am surprised people go public admitting: 1.They don't read the contracts they sign. I never in 20 yrs joined a gym that did not have policies. 2. Can't give useful reviews and vent about their personal issues . it's a gym WORRY ABOUT YOUR WKOUTS

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately, not the experience I was hoping for. Didnt care to continue using membership, despite many months of paying, and not using the facility. Called once to cancel, was told no problem. Charge appeared next month. Called again, was told I needed to come in, fill out a form, and pay cancellation fee. Said I didnt want to come in. Was told I could mail in a letter, so I did. Twice. Called the gym each time. No luck. Charged yet again. Disputed the charge via the credit card, and someone actually put energy into arguing the credit card - including sending what arrived to me as illegible documents. It sounds like someone put all that effort into arguing the card company, but zero into cancelling the account. Easily could have taken care of this over the phone. What ever happened to working with each other? How is a cancellation so impossible? I was told when signing up that this wasnt a contract and that I could cancel anytime, and it would take was a phone call. Unfortunately, it seems I was sold. I should have known when my first call to inquire as to pricing was explained in detail, and when I called again to confirm, I was told this info is not available over the phone. After asking again, the young man went ahead and confirmed, and made it sound very easy. Does anyone care to make this right? 2 letters and phone calls, and I am continuing to be charged. **update***Judging by the response from the owner, there doesnt seem to be much acknowledgement or interest in the happenings or on boarding process of new members. A simple, "sorry for the incomvenience, we will now cancel your account" also works. Instead, you are asking me to now send a certified letter and hide behind a contract, even after hearing that I was told contrary by your staff? Requiring a certified letter after a vague on boarding process, is crtainly unenforcable, and unduly burdensome. Now that you habe seen and heard all this (more than once) is there any interest in making this right?

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a member of the gym since Feb 2017... I absolutely love the place. It is clean, not over crowded and all the equipments are always in working order. Oscar Tapia is my very own personal torturer..er... trainer and fitness expert. He has a scientific method to his madness. Never has a session ever been boring. He knows his stuff! He switches techniques and workouts to prevent plateauing. I now feel extremely confident about my body and it’s ability to do what is asked of it.

I have been impressed with the changes they have made throughout the years, including new equipment, new classes, and listening to member feedback. I don't understand how anyone could give this gym a bad review unless they cannot manage their finances or do not understand simple contracts.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been coming here since it was Cardinal Fitness. Great gym, wide variety of equipment to use (not to mention they just added a ton of new equipment) and great variation depending on your style. Ellypticals, treadmills, steppers, bikes, a machine for any muscle you're trying to work on, as well as plenty of free weights. Environment is very relaxed and friendly. I recently got my father to sign up as well (56 years old) and he has been working out consistently, even on his own, which I think says a lot about a gym seeing as anyone new to working out may be a bit nervous going by themselves or without a buddy. The staff is very friendly and always greet you with a smile. Overall, a positive place to work hard, lose weight, and build muscle. 5 stars from me.

They recently added tons of great new cardio equipment, even better than other more expensive gyms such as LA fitness. This might not be a huge facility with pools and a basketball court but it has everything you need and more for cardio and weight lifting. Friendly staff and welcoming community at this gym. Great local business. Can’t beat the value for the price.

Experiencia fantástica: They're very cheap and have upgraded a lot of their equipment. If you're looking to get fit, they have most of the things you need to work out all parts of the body. All they don't have a pool. They play a good variety of music in there too, and they have a separate room for physical therapy/special training equipment. For $10 a month or $20 with extra benefits (like bringing a guest), it's a great gym for all levels.

Really affordable and just feel good walking into this gym. Employees really seem to show a great appreciation for the club. Perfect size gym with everything I need. Very pleased with the club!

Experiencia positiva: This gym is decent. They have good bench press areas and dumbbells. The staff is all friendly. They don't communicate the cost of the membership very well though. When I signed up I signed up with a friend of mine as well. Neither of us were aware that we'd be charged another $50 just 2 months after sign up. So this gym is not a true $10/mo gym when you add the enrollment fee ($50) with the annual fee ($50) to the $10/mo. It's actually nearly double that at over $18/mo. Just be aware of that when signing up. For that price I could probably get more amenities elsewhere. Event and Planet Purple I would be able to bring a guest any time for that price, which I'm not able to do here. $50 also seems like a high annual membership fee for such a small gym. Plus you shouldn't be charged an annual fee for something you haven't had for a year yet.
